At 11 AM PT on January 23, LoR service will be back online. Anyone who played during the preview patches OR has pre-registered on PC by 11:59 PM PT on January 19 will gain access on 1/23. Hey all,

We don't currently support flagging decks based on specific bosses from adventures. We'll roll out an update for this as soon as possible. For now, you can flag your deck as "Adventure" so it will at least be easier to find / share.

Our full adventure guide should be up later today as we've run into a few snags with the system.

Gakakronds awakening in a few hours, still not all cards revealed? 

That's simple. Just go to the "Extra" tab on http://hearthcards.net/ and convert an existing card's cost into a tavern tier!

Remember that only a minority of regular HS cards would make sense in this mode (no spells/weapons, no card draw/deck interaction, etc...).

Here a some examples which I think are...interesting. Mostly because the same effect leads to a very different outcome!

Do note that in Zola's case, the golden minion will be the upgraded one!

got back to the game after taking a short break as Rise of Shadows was really bland and I really quickly lost interest in the game, quite frankly had higher hopes for it as I've been pretty dissappointed with the expansions since Boomsday Project. But honestly Saviors of Uldum really trumped it all with the massive amount of stale and bland legendaries. I've literally never EVER had 0 legendaries that interested me. Yet now I honestly have no clue what to craft. What bums me out even more is that I even won the outofcards giveaway, got super lucky with my 53 packs and still haven't got anything to do as both Standard and Wild ladders are just honestly the same old shitfest as they have been since forever. Standard being stale and Wild being, well, terrorized by decks that I don't even dare to name as I would probably get a lot of meaningless hate for it.

Point is, I'm pretty much bored of the expansion on the first day of playing it and it's frustrating as I've loved this game to bits for such a long time. I'd appreciate any tips for some decks you guys have success with as nothing I came up seems to work. And please refrain from comments to play other card games. I've tried many and they were fun for a while, but not in a longrun.

Legends of Runeterra has 6 different regions that you can use to build decks with. You may build a deck with one region of cards or two.

Here are each of their playstyles from what I've seen so far.

Shadow Isles

Lots of death and resurrection!

Ionia

Control. The mechanic "Recall" forces units back to your opponent's hand.

Piltover & Zaun

Tons of spells!

Demacia

Large armies with buff mechanics. Just hanging out with your friends.

Noxus

Aggro. Enjoy cards that can't be blocked and only serve to go face.

Freljord

Freezing. Plenty of control through Frostbite which sets the power (attack) of a unit to 0.

I was looking for this forever the other day to show off how simple the win condition for my gonk deck could be without using florist. But i couldn't find one after looking forever, all i could find was a couple reddit posts of people asking this same thing forever ago(like 5 years ago) and getting shit on in the comments by people not even giving an answer because it was supposed to be an obvious solution i guess. glad to see reddit hasn't changed, it's always been shitty.

Still though after further looking i found one that works kinda, but it only has cards from Explorers and it included some cards that didn't even exist, in hearthstone so i stayed away from that after it crashed after me tinkering with it for about 5 minutes.

Is there a simulator where i can set up a board state? Or should i just give up and try to rig one up by taking a screenshot of me fighting the innkeeper?

The mid-January site update! We're aiming to get a larger update out towards the end of the month with two long-anticipated features.

New Features

• You can now vote on Hearthstone decks on embedded deck widgets.
  • Sorry this took longer than intended. We had to combat caching mechanisms.

Changes

• Improved site-wide performance via caching improvements on comments.
• Voting performance has been greatly improved.
• Users with adblock will now see in-house promotions.
  • We're going to be using the ad space on the site for our own "ads" when visitors have adblock enabled.
  • Some of these "ads" will remind you that ads help keep the site running.
  • We'd really love it if you would unblock the site. The ads we display are less intrusive than a lot of other sites in the space.
• Premium has its own dedicated landing page. We'll make it look better in the future.
• Game Portals are now live on the Homepage.
  • These take the place of the Hearthstone decks that were on our homepage from the start.
    • Hearthstone decks will still display at the top of the Hearthstone Portal.
    • Dev Commentary: This is a change that needed to happen at some point. We aren't a site that only focuses on one game and by having the entire homepage covered in Hearthstone-only content, it doesn't feel right. More Hearthstone-specific content (brawls for example) will be pruned from the homepage in the future. We'll continue to use the homepage to spotlight content from all the titles we cover, so look forward to that.
  • These are easy ways to access the different "homepages" on the site that we're calling Portals.
    • If you only want to see information for one particular game, please feel free to bookmark that portal.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed Missing Galakrond's Awakening news article banner.
• Fixed article images not showing up on social media correctly.

Tried to delete this but to no avail. It seems the deck is invalid because there are waaaaay too many friggin cards in the deck. There's probably over 40 cards for some reason.

So I guess the only bug is how could someone create a deck with so many cards?

I just hope they don't mess up Galakrond Warlock. It's been ages since I've enjoyed playing a Lock deck that isn't zoo, and I want to enjoy it a bit more before they stomp it out. 

So I'm trying to clear this before the next adventure comes out, but Tekhan seems impossible. Anyone have tips for success?

In a game just now I got a crown for coming in 5th and I'm curious if this is a new thing or just a situation I've never seen before?

Relevant variables: I and another player got knocked out on the same round. They placed 4th and me 5th. I lost to a dead player, them to a live one. However, the "ranking" screen had what looked like a little gold donut (it had sprinkles which is why I'm assuming it wasn't a halo) floating over my hero's head and I still was awarded a crown. 

Is this a thing? If you get knocked out and get 5th the same turn as someone else who gets 4th you still get the reward? Or does my losing to a dead player have anything to do with it?

Is the solo adventure going to be in the format of RoS and SoU where it's like a dungeon run, or is it like the adventures of old where you have to make your own deck? Asking because I'm considering buying the prepurchase bundle, but I only started playing a year ago and my collection is pathetic so I highly doubt I'd be able to make decks to beat all the bosses.
