A little history: I like playing Hunter and I'm F2P. The only Legendary I have crafted is Zul'jin. So, with that in mind, I can't just transform it into Highlander or Quest. I don't have the dust.

I wondered if anyone had any recommendations or other feedback on it?

Initial Impressions of dual Arenas after about 100 games.

My choices for 1st/2nd class. Anecdotal.

Paladin, Warlock, Shaman / Rogue, Warlock, Mage

• Establishing early board is extremely important. In general, there seems to a be a lack of quality reactive offerings to make strong come backs with. What that means is, if you get ahead, you will likely STAY ahead and win.

• The format (no buckets) rewards strong drafting knowledge. Without strong come from behind cards, having good drafting fundamentals goes a longer way. Curve and Tempo is king. Make sure you have proper "curve" minions (a 3 mana 2/2 is NOT a curve minion), a mix of initiative and some way to finish off games. There's no more predictive drafting, where we expect certain cards to pop up because the pools and buckets were so limited. Sometimes you just have to make Lemonade when you are offered lemons, this is the beauty of a system without buckets.

• Defensive cards seem to be premium. Less taunts (Bone Wraith, War Bear, Kharut Defender) means less ways to prevent face damage. There also seems to be less good healing options as well (Voodoo Doctor, Farseer removed). A good sized taunt (even something as average as a 3/8 for 6 mana) is a nice luxury minion and usually is extremely hard to remove since the Meta is lacking removal cards in general. Bog Creeper and Tar Creeper feel ultra premium right now.

• Removal is a premium. A deck full of good statted bodies is great, but you'll still need at least 1 or 2 strong removal cards to deal with trouble taunts, or to swing the game back while you are going 2nd. Take them early in your drafts to make sure you have it. In general, it feels like removal is more scarce, but i haven't dived too deep into the details just anecdotal. (I did get psy screamed 3 times yesterday on curve, DOOM'd, as well as Dragon Fired all in one day)

• Take your time. Lots of cards we haven't seen for a while so don't make dumb misplays by not reading the cards. (I played Plague Scientist twice without the combo, and I played Doom Pact thinking it was Army of the Dead, all in 1 day) This also means to take some time to familiarize yourself with the card pools.

• Don't play around anything - this is just my general feeling, but usual culprits like Scorcher on 5 or Flamestrike on 7 are not applicable here. Most decks are just so janky and fragile, you can't afford to play around anything most of the time and developing + face is generally correct.

Overall i'm enjoying it. It feels more like Arena (bad decks, limited synergies, rewards drafting and game play fundamentals like trading) Some negatives would probably include lack of class identity and neutralstone which favors the class with the better hero power. Another negative is the strength of going 1st. Without strong reactive cards, most deck archetypes will lean towards early tempo and aggression, this favors heavily the player going 1st. Its similar to the Rise of Mechs meta where early tempo was key.

Just some random thoughts so far, let me know if you agree or disagree, and your experiences.

Howdy, I didn't really see a thread for doom in the tomb runs so I made my own if there was already sorry about this. But my fastest run so far has been 10 mins 1 second BFF is a crazy card

my iPhone app is hanging on the blizzard screen. I have closed and reopened several times. Is this occurring for anyone else / does anyone have any other troubleshooting tips?

Hey everyone, I'm looking for advice on my next craft.  I want to craft either Dark Pharaoh Tekahn or Supreme Archaeology.  

I know that everyone has different play styles and perspectives and both of these are not high on the want list for most players.  But I'm a dedicated Warlock player and both of these cards just look fun.  I know that neither are going to be the game breaker like Bloodreaver Gul'dan was.  In fact, both are probably only going to be in theme/meme decks.

So my question is this, what has everyone's experience been with either of these cards?

Title. I crafted Highlander Warrior, but I'm missing Siamat, Octosari and Darius Crowley, and am instead running a couple wild cards. I have enough dust to craft one of them, which one of the three legendaries is the best one to craft for now?

now that there is a curropt garrosh portrait i kinda wanted to play c'thun warrior but i don't have c'thun. Now i remember back in the day you would get c'thun and beckoner of evil for free when you opened you first wotog pack. 

My question is if anyone knows if it still applies today. so if i buy let's say 15 wotog packs do i get c'thun and beckoner of evil for free or not?

I never openend a wotog pack on the account i am currently playing on.

Is it just me, or is anyone else having issues going into solo mode on Android since the latest patch? Hearthstone keeps freezing up every time I try to go to solo mode on my phone. Haven't tried it on my computer yet, but definitely causing issues on Android.

Just initial thoughts and analysis also will add a star rating in the current meta/card pool

4 - is in a tier 1 deck or defines a tier 2 deck

3 - is in a tier 2 deck or tech in tier 1 or defines a tier 3 deck

2- tried a bit then dropped

Neutral:

N'Zoth, the Corruptor- 5 -   the meta is not that fast that this card won't see play in a control list, goes very well with sylvanas and there's no way sylvanas doesn't see play.

[Hearthstone Card (sylvannas windrunner) Not Found] -5- this card is insane we all know that it goes very well in hunter currently Nine Lives is a 3 mana mind control with it. apart from that any other slow midrange/control deck would play her.

Ragnaros the Firelord -5- this card was HOF before elementals were a thing in standard currently there is little synergy apart from mage and shaman with only a few cards that don't see play, but in mage it's really good with [Hearthstone Card (elemental invocation) Not Found], the card can also just be slapped into a variety of decks anyway.

The Curator -3- dragons are kinda dead in standard, beasts are everywhere and there is not really a generalist murloc you would want to draw, seems situational maybe in a sort of a lackey shaman with amalgam just to draw 3..?

Emperor Thaurissan -5- key card in any combo deck and enables them, there's no way no new combo deck we didn't think about shows up.

Druid:

Astral Communion -1- was bad, and is still bad.

Kun the Forgotten King -2- maybe tried in quest druid the card is good but currently doesn't do any crazy combo without Aviana and a 0 mana 7/7 that is a dead card until turn 10 is kind of meh.

Hunter:

Lock and Load -2- spell heavy hunters value engine, but are random hunter cards for 2 mana good enough.. nah I don't think so I used this card in solo adventures from rime to time wasn't impressed by it too much (by that I mean.. best case scenario it's not that great.)

Call of the Wild -4- highlander hunter is very strong and you slot it in for a more impactful zuljin it's a really good card and game closer, think it might be run in the deck cause of mainly zuljin and it's a good card just that when it got nerfed the meta was really fast and then death knights came around, so this card got quite left behind also go outclassed by To My Side! in spell hunter.

Mage:

Babbling Book- 3 - was a decent card but nothing really there are some really bad mage cards it's a 1/1+ that bad classic card, was briefly played in the past.

Flamewaker -5- now THIS is something mage needed, now more than ever with so many cheap spells/spell generation this card is as insane as ever tempo mage is back!

Paladin:

Mysterious Challenger -3- who am I? none of your business. this + the best paladin secret in the game makes secret paladin which got a ton of support in ROS a real contender this is kind of the late game the secret paladin needs.. it currently runs out of gas and that's it.. but MC makes the deck shine again that being said I think secret paladin is either a tier 3 or 2 deck cause of the power creep in the game

Avenge -4- this is the best paladin secret in the game it's worth including even in murloc decks I think so even if "Secret paladin" is not a thing this card might see play in the more aggressive paladin decks. Edit: facepalm on the murloc paladin ->  Prismatic Lens as @PopeNeia pointed out.

Shaman:

Evolve -5- slotted into quest shaman instead of mutate or in addition to mutate also good in aggro shaman.

Thing from Below-4- not as good as when it was in standard cause of no totem golem, 2 mana flametongue totem, and no taskarr totemic, but it's still a really good card and great evolve target.

Rogue:

Shaku, the Collector-?-

[Hearthstone Card (swashburglar-) Not Found]?- dunno how to evaluate thief rogue + 3 more thief cards don't think it will make the class suddenly great I am not sure how rogue does atm, but I didn't see them a lot lately. it does make the turn 2 underbelly more consistent.

Priest:

Lightbomb-5- res priest might make a return and this card just makes the deck much much better it's aoe they need to work currently they need either a 2 of in mass hysteria or to wait until turn 9.. this card just makes priest good again think res prist will be tier 1 with sylvanas being back.

Vol'jin-2- the card is decent, but I think it doesn't fit well into the current decks.

Warlock:

Imp Gang Boss -4- zoo is tier 2 and one really good 3 drop won't change it.

Renounce Darkness-1- meme

Warrior:

Varian Wrynn-2- there are some big warrior cards in boomsday, I think such deck is too greedy though.

Bloodhoof Brave -2- card is good, but it's not constructed good.

Here's one of the most reliable meta reports, for anyone who wants to have a look. Some pretty interesting things happening in the meta presently, particularly with regard to the newest addition to Tier 1 status, Aggro Warrior. Data Reaper Report

It also makes note that the meta is just about to get completely shaken up when the wild cards enter the standard game.

I have beaten all 5 chapters on normal with ease and beaten alle 4 Wings on heroic with Finley, Elise and Brann (no Bosses so far with Reno), so I thought I farmed enough treasures to beat the last boss on heroic. But how on earth do I have a chance against this dude, when he throws 2 C'Thuns with about 60/60 stats 2 turns in a row in my face, one-shoting two of my 4 heroes?

Beside these overbuffed C'Thuns the fight was "ok" so far. I nearly cleared phase 2 and had two heroes left - but as I said, these giant C`Thuns were unbeatable for me and I could see a way to prevent this nonsense. x_X

FYI most recent patch seems to have broken Hearthstone Deck Tracker, likely as a new version on Unity is being employed.

Or at least myself and other people in the relevant discord are experiencing this issue.

Can play without but like to keep the stats and pack opening stats.

Thought I'd post to stop others from trying to fault find the problem as we'll need to wait for a HDT release to fix.

So I drafted a Tuskarr Totemic as warrior+shaman in the arena, but when played his battlecry didn't trigger so you might want to be careful while drafting. Or might have just been a bug who knows

I wonder if anyone knows.
I play the game since 2015 and have many of the old cards that were reintroduced to the game.
I don't mind other people having the same cards  but i don't see a second for example [Hearthstone Card (Sylvannas Windrunner) Not Found] for the card i had.
I see now only one Sylvannas which i cannot discenchant...
When this event ends and if they decide to take back the cards will i still have the original cards in my collection?

It is expected that with the new tavern, we get also the special halloween event including dual class arena and meta-shake with cards returning to standard.

I've been off for some time and need to ask whether they still grant a free ticket to anyone with an incomplete arena or not. I currently have a 2 loss arena but if they grant a ticket, i'm fine leaving it like it is now :P

Whenever I see a thread in Recent Threads (or Active Threads on the forum page) that I've been following and want to see what just got posted, it's annoying to get sent to page one and have to click through to the newest page. It's even worse for long threads since there's no newest post button, you just have to click through multiple times until you reach the newest post.

Is there a way to have the Recent/Active Threads lists link to the most recent post instead of the first post? I know there's the Last Post button in the forums themselves, is there a way to link to that instead?

• To ensure that players have a chance to try out this devilish dual-class deck-building dress-up party, weeks 1 and 2 of this event will award Arena Tickets on login!

IMPORTANT: Players who have an active Arena run when this begins will have their current run ended and will receive an Arena Ticket as compensation.

• Play out your run to x-2 (x wins and max. 2 losses) if you want more rewards from your run, or just leave it at 0-0 if you dont want to bother playing.
• Friendly Neighborhood Gladiator: if you do plan on leaving your run at 0-0, might as well start two games and concede to two players, getting some positive karma :) You will get the identical rewards for 0-0 and 0-2 score.

A: Ideally several hours before the event start/end, arena entries are generally closed few hours prior.

Q: Will I get another Arena Ticket, if I keep an active run before the event's end?

Q: Where are my rewards for the retired run? I opened my arena rewards but didn't get any pack or gold/dust.

A: This is a known bug, arena rewards are actually awarded to you once you finish your last game, before you open up the reward boxes. When an arena reset happens, it gets even more confusing because this happens on log in; sometimes you have to restart the game. People often see (1) pack in their inventory, don't think much about it, go open it and then go collect arena rewards only to find out they didn't get anything. But the fact is, that (1) pack on log in was actually the one from the arena rewards. Same with gold/dust, it was already added to your account even before you opened the arena rewards. You didn't lose anything.
