Omnislash has been around for several years creating content for Hearthstone with streamers like Kibler, Firebat, and Zalae, among others, but they've decided to shift gears.

To better focus our efforts, we are transitioning away from content creation and streamer representation, and will be committing all of our efforts to a data platform for players of all types.

For now they are going to be focusing on data tools for gamers/streamers. It's sad to see them go, but I'm interested to see what they create for us.

One Reddit user, MysteryMTR, commented on how slow Riot has been with any information about the dates for closed beta for LoR and a couple of Devs popped up to comment. They don't give us anything definite, but at least we know they're working hard on getting it ready as soon as possible! [source]

This is a good point, and from the outside I can imagine this being confusing or frustrating.

Underlying everything we communicate is the principle that we don't want to promise anything that we won't be able to deliver on. I think we've all experienced that as players, and Riot also has had to learn that lesson as developers.

As we're finishing our core game features for Launch, we also have to develop the capabilities to release those at quality, at scale, reliably and consistently. As more of the game is complete, we'll be able to more confidently predict when we'll have releases ready for players. But until then we're mostly just comfortable with the types of broad strokes that you've seen in our roadmap.

Exact dates WILL come, but we're not quite ready to announce anything yet.

I'm not going to confirm dates for you but I will say we are here, watching, reading, and working hard to make sure you can play your hearts out. We get happy every time we see players asking to play more. There's a lot of work to do to make sure we do well for even more players. Alas I will leave you with a "Soon ™"!

I have a feeling Dragon Mage will be a viable deck post-Shaman nerfs. The most likely variant is probably going to Highlander due to Dragonqueen Alexstrasza, Reno the Relicologist and Zephrys the Great being phenomenal cards. However, just to test the waters, I'm going with a good old Conjuror Dragon Mage. Here is my version:

Feel free to post your Dragon Mage decks, I'm looking forward to some nifty versions. Like a spell-heavy version with Dragoncasters, or strong Highlanders.

We have things like Amalgamation that are all tribes in one, but do you think we will ever see dual- or mult-tribe cards. Like an Elemental-Dragon, or a Pirate-Murloc ? I think it would be cool thematically.

So I got tired to reading all the hate that people have had about Galakrond Shaman and decided to try playing it and ... WOW... that hate is pretty well deserved.  

I went into the deck completely blind and missing one Dragon's Pack, and I went on a 7 game winning streak.  I know that typically, the initial hate for a class goes to Hunter.  As a person that is adamantly against Hunter, I'm always up for Hunter being nerfed to the point where the class is eliminated.  But that is me.  

I honestly wanted to take the stance of, "This is just the initial release and there is always hate against the more aggro decks because combo and control has yet to be established." But man, that deck has a lot of synergy and flows really well.  

That being said, I honestly don't think that any one particular card would hinder the way that the deck functions.  I have read a number of threads where people are putting all the hate on 1-3 cards.  But really, the fact that you can summon a few 2/1 rush minions to help control the board, along with all the stuff that thunderhead can produce is kind of sickening.  

I just had to throw my astonishment out there to let those that hate the initial deck have valid concerns..  That's all

Yesterday Scarlatch posted a couple of Promises by Firelight spoilers in the Discord channel. Take a look!

Now this archetype basically is a complete meme for priest, but it works a little better now. Honestly this is pretty much a Test Subject Grave Rune deck just for fun. Just load up the test subject with anything you got rinse and repeat over and over...until it get silenced. I have not found any success with wall style gala decks for priest nothing seems consistent. Combo priest pretty much got better as far as I can tell the Invoke adds some beef to your Mid Game if you get cleared early, but honestly in that situation with Combo priest I usually die. Though lately I can recover with a bit of RnG, and Divine Spirit Inner Fire action. There may be some use to this idea, but I don't know what to cut. Since everything having a death rattle is pretty important you have to go hard for face.

Welp, seeing as how Shaman is still ruling the ladder, I switched back to Battlegrounds to bide my time for the nerfs. I forgot how much I loved this mode, so I opened up a thread to talk about it.

Well, to start things off, I want to ask a question: how would you balance the Battlegrounds?

I was trying to think of something and my solution was: ”what if we removed Toxfin?” Seeing as how Murlocs are really strong right now, and perhaps even OP, I was wondering how to fix the problem and thought of this. It lessens the chances of Amalgam getting poisonous and weakens Murlocs quite a lot. Would this kill off the murloc archetype completely, or would it help balance the game by nerfing Amalgams and Murlocs at the same time? What are your thoughts? This also opens up the possibility of Demons becoming the strongest archetype, but who knows?

Also, Dragons are entering the Battlegrounds soon! I’m very interested to see how that can shake things up.

With the new DoD expansion out, one of the few epics I opened 2 copies of was Embiggen. Now this is a very unique card, which is similar to good ol' Prince Keleseth. When I first started building a deck around it, I had to decide what way to go. Embiggen really wants you to play as many minions as possible, because that way you can profit as much from its effect as possible. That rules out Quest Druid and Token Druid, since those run a huge amount of spells, reducing the effectivity of Embiggen.

Because the new card Breath of Dreams seemed busted as hell (and it is), I decided to take the deck into a dragon direction. The gameplan is simple: Mulligan for Embiggen and Breath of Dreams, play overstatted minions, go face, win. The sidequest Strength in Numbers is a great addition as well, because it can pull big rush minions out of your deck for large boardswings. I am only playing 1 copy of it so far because I didn't open a second one yet, and I don't like crafting cards this early. For this same reason I have not included Frizz Kindleroost, and it's also why I run Ysera instead of Ysera, Unleashed.

Currently, I have a 77% winrate. However, I am not 100% sure of the decklist yet: The early game is still a very rough area, but too many small minions interfere with the sidequest and are bad topdecks in the lategame.

Does anybody have any suggestions with which to improve my decklist, and how have you built this deck yourself? Let's brainstorm the best version of Embiggen Druid together.

While it blows my mind that they thought that the expansion could launch in its current state, hopefully the action will be brutal and decisive. I've found it hard to even log in during the last few days which is pretty depressing given that this is typically the most fun part of the cycle. Fingers crossed that this puts things right.

I get it, the site doesn't get enough support from the community and we need ads or else the site will go under, but there are just too many ads. Ads at the top of the screen are fine, ads in between the threads/tavern brawl/deck discussion are fine, ads at the bottom of news posts are fine, but when there are ads in between, next to, and even inside of comments and thread replies it is just too much. The site feels cramped and cluttered. Please move these ads somewhere else or just get rid of them, it is hard to read the threads now and it makes the site less usable. Please. I hate this.

I played Murozond the Infiniteafter an enemy shaman played his Galakrond, and i did not transform into Galakrond. It replayed all the cards except the hero card.

This is a bug right? Vanessa does replay hero cards.

Has anyone found any success with Galakrond in Warlock? I've tried some Zoo strategies, but it basically gets blown out by Galakrond Shaman's rush invoke.

I've just started trying to make a more control-oriented Darkest Day Galakrond work with things like Plague of Fire to get value out of the token imps, but so far results are unclear.

IIRC, Crystology used to draw Immortal Prelate, independent on what buffs the latter one already received. However this is not true anymore. Can someone confirm if this was introduced or if I'm remembering wrongly?

Allegiance Gauntlet: December 13 – December 16

In this event, players must construct decks using cards of only one attribute. No dual- or triple-attribute cards are allowed! (Neutral cards can still be included in your mono-attribute decks, however.)

Each run through the Allegiance Gauntlet costs one (1) Event Ticket or 150 Gold, up to three maximum runs.

The Allegiance Gauntlet begins Friday, December 13 at 12pm ET and closes at 12pm ET on Monday, December 16. Events in The Elder Scrolls: Legends change regularly, so check in often to see what new challenges await!

So after playing around with Treant Druid and being ultimately a bit disappointed (that game has some fantastic plays, but if you get pushed off the board early you're never getting it back and will most likely lose) I was still very much impressed by the power of [Hearthstone Card (Goru the Mighttree) Not Found], especially in combination with The Forest's Aid, which can make for gamewinning plays, especially when combined with Savage Roar and the like.

So I figured why not cut the entire Treant stuff and just go straight for the core....and so I put Goru and The Forest in Quest Druid.

The plan is simple: Instead of relying on Chef Nomi and Elise the Enlightened which need more set up and require us to draw through our deck before we can pressure, we play the tree (preferably as soon as we draw him) and then use the Treants to pressure. We have 4 reloads (and could even get more through Elise) which should run most decks out of removal. Additionally, we also have King Phaoris which benefits a lot from having an 8-mana spell in hand. Cenarius acts as our substitute Savage Roar.

Unfortunately, Quest Druid isn't really all that well positioned against the current "meta" since most decks snowball pretty hard and take the lead early. Something like Pirate Warrior is pretty hard to beat, especially if you don't get your Quest done on curve.

Still, I believe that the Tree package could actually help the deck out a lot against the slower decks which you now can simply outpressure instead of having to rely on outvaluing them (which you can't anyways, because decks have gotten so much more nutty)

Thoughts?

I know these were "leaked" not too long ago, but we've finally got a digital image of the new landset coming in Theros Beyond Death... and damn do they look good! Its interesting having "pokemon-style" lands, they should look absolutely stunning in foil.

What do y'all think? I'm definitely going to pickup the fatpack/bundle for some cheapo access to them.

I've never played WoW past the Lyadrin Driop, so I don't have any knowledge about the lore. But it seems to me that Treants essentially are meant to be living trees. As are Ancients.

So my question is: Is there any reason lorewise that cards like Ancient of Lore, Ancient of War, Forbidden Ancient, Ironwood Golem, the spawn from Hidden Oasis, Lucentbark, Splintergraft and Goru the Mightree are not considered as treants? (maybe even Volcanic Lumberer)

It just seems odd that these aren't effected by treant buffs. Especially as this might be the tipping point for Lucentbark Druid or Treant Druid to be viable... :/

I‘m stuck in my workplace for 8 more hours and as a new employee i‘ve sworn to myself to not touch Heartstone while at work. To ease the pain and make time pass quicker, please share all the good stuff you are experiencing with me!

My best Highlight so far was a random generated Deathwing (the original one) in a galakrond shaman. I was in topdeck mode and he saved my ass! The effect got repeatet from Shudderwock and won me the game! 

Also, i played Deathwing, mad aspect, not knowing he attacks your own minions aswell. This completly messed up my Alextrasza turn.... Shame concede in the same second :P.
