Sigil of Educated C'Thun Demon Hunter

We were eager to finish the Sigil achievement for Demon Hunter, so we experimented with a number of different methods for completing it. While grinding away at it with several decks, we noticed 2 important points: 1. There were some games we never drew a single Sigil before the game ended, and 2. A maximum of 4 Sigils per game when the goal is 200 total is extremely disheartening...

So, we created this deck as a way to deal with those points. First up, there is a ridiculous amount of card draw in this deck. Not only do you have Skull of Gul'dan, Spectral Sight, and Chaos Strike, but Luckysoul Hoarder, Taelan Fordring, and Malygos the Spellweaver all have their role to play. And, since we are cycling through our deck like mad, why not have C'Thun, the Shattered as one of our win conditions?

But, again, just 4 Sigils per game is less than ideal, so, how could we play more? Well, what if we play the Sigil of Silence and the Sigil of Flame together with Educated Elekk? It does conflict a bit with the win condition of playing C'Thun, but it's a fun way to get additional guaranteed copies of the Sigils to play each game!

Of course, we have to survive long enough to cycle through and play all these cards, so the Soul Fragment package alongside a few more control tools (and I would consider the Sigils themselves to be part of the control tool package) helps us do that. It's also nice that the Soul Fragments will give us extra draws with Malygos the Spellweaver near the end of the game if we've drawn through most of our original spells from the deck, or that Malygos can be an emergency heal as he's likely to pull a few Fragments for us.

The winrate for the deck is not amazing, and there are other strategies for generating more copies of the Sigils other than Educated Elekk (consider Venomous Scorpid and Steward of Scrolls), but this is a fun way to work towards it and surprise your opponent by playing the ever elusive Educated Elekk! If you'd like to see the deck in action, we've got a gameplay highlight at https://youtu.be/w_y7U0svPPY or below you can check out. Have fun experimenting!
