Yes, this. Last time we did not get a ticket for Duels, don't expect one this time either when no sets are being removed. Unless they change their philosophy without telling us (no harm to keep your run open at 2 losses if you are not trying to complete any more XP achievements).
For Arena we should be getting our "free" Tavern Ticket as usual.
Yeah, it's getting a little crowded in there. Then again we were already able to pick cards from various other sets through loot buckets. Duels was more like Wild in some instances.
Actually, we don't quite know how the Rewards Track transition might go. Last time all old quests were lost while being replaced by the new ones and the whole experience system, but this time there won't be such a huge mechanical change. Depends really how they designed it. If for some reason our set of weekly quests from Monday 29 was to be replaced on Tuesday 30, I'd expect Hearthstone team to get the word out (would be lots of angry people otherwise). And if we see any blue posts on the subject, we'll definitely cover it.
This might be one of the questions that gets asked during Iksar's Q&A later today/tomorrow, and if you are an awake Twitter resident at the time, you could try to do it yourself!
Since the blog posts didn't mention anything about Patch 20.0 and no other patch messed with your weekly and daily quests, it should be safe to assume that's not being affected, we still get a few more days of Darkmoon Faire track.
If you are between levels, then yes, you will lose whatever small chunk when your level gets set back to 0. Worth to hit a new level if it's really close.
Look towards the end for the section of how to set up private Fireside Gatherings. I have never done this personally, so can't offer first-hand experience.
I await a quality rant once we find out they couldn't be bothered to bring up some other game mode Quests to 2.5k XP, and that it's rerolling instead into lower value.
I still think Pen Flinger isn't busted in this deck (sorry!), but definitely not convinced Nitro nerf is going to be enough in the long run. The main problem with absolutely ridiculous amount of card draws remain (which is what enables such stupid amounts of cheap burst damage). 0 mana Cutting Class being very easy to achieve, Secret Passage still broken in its current iteration, and so on. Including Prep in Aggro deck is way more of a punishment when you can't cycle through like it's nothing.
Yes, I don't quite understand it either. It's strange they insist on removing these XP bonuses, considering they aren't that large to begin with. It would mean that someone joining a few expansions down the line could get a huge boost on their initial Rewards Track, but whether that's such a huge issue... If they insist on simplicity (current Standard rotation), they could at least extend the grace period to a year or two.
Thank you. :) And for all your useful posts around these parts, it's a true wealth of knowledge. A lot of achievements probably seem more intimidating than they actually are until people try their hand at them.
That's definitely the aim for the next time we get down to it. Now that we have a better idea of what to expect from this whole Rewards Track rotation, achievements, and experence in general.
Oh, that's interesting. I've never seen that interaction live, so just assumed a permanent aura kind of thing. Their coding sure is strange. Thanks! Will update the line based on your info.
That's a great way of looking at it. I'm happy we can gain experience just by playing now rather than only winning, so you can set your own goals and "win conditions" such as these.
We have these tweets from Celestalon to go by. So I'm afraid the XP bonus was always going to be temporary, unless they have changed their minds since. And I do wish they had, but I don't recall hearing any news on the subject. Do you remember if it was something more recent that made you believe so?
And hey, I'm pretty sure everyone could find their way up to 12 wins eventually. Not getting there doesn't mean being bad either. It takes a good deck/class that you are comfortable with and some luck with your opponents and treasures.

It sure is a great throwback name.

So pretty much exactly how it's stated in the class section about it. ;) I find Bonemare too clunky compared to all the cheaper options, though.
They will likely announce on the day, and the thread will be pinned to the top of the subreddit. Expect something of the "post a comment" sort.
It's all here: https://outof.cards/hearthstone/2770-forged-in-the-barrens-launches-on-march-30-final-reveal-stream-on-march-22-twitch-drops-mega-bundles-giveaway

I shudder to think. First check, is the bugged flickering friend list there to stay forever.

That's very creative. I should have all relevant Wild cards, might try my luck if there is some spare time to be had.

Haha, much appreciated! I shall treasure it.

I can imagine, Galakrond can be such a lottery. It feels like I can get 3 Mindrender Illucias for every G'huun.
Great going! Let's hope Yogg will be on your side if you try it some more.

That's so very wholesome, stories like this are never common. And very kind of you, I'm glad they appreciated it enough to pay respects with your win.
