Yes, there have really been a lot of things coming out within a short period of time. It's hard to avoid confusion, I remember double and triple checking every piece of info while trying to get everything right.
Try not to worry about it too much (and when in doubt, ask whether in related articles or elsewhere - both our Discord and forums have a lot of helpful folks, as you might know). I missed out on quite a few XP achievements myself, not having had the time to chase a few hundred Greyboughs, pray to Yogg, and what not.
You know about Ysera, probably about the free arena ticket too. I think we've covered most relevant things to come, so hopefully everyone gets to enjoy the expansion as we get used to this new Hearthstone era.
Well put. I think I also missed an odd Brawl here and there, especially when it was something constructed I just didn't feel like touching. Now it's definitely going to be a lot more appealing.
For my pity timer tracking I always relied on trusted pen & paper, but I hear that Firestone has the functionality now to track that for you, and even draw data from the past. Haven't tested personally, but you could see for yourself - maybe it will help with knowing whether buying some extra Classic packs can net you that next Legendary and maybe more than one Epic.
As you see, even the devs themselves got confused at one point, or didn't consider all alternatives. What Dean said might've been true from his perspective, as someone who played for years and had all the HoF stuf. Good thing you didn't miss out in the end.
That is one very ambitious goal. I hope you get there within this lifetime! No crafting rule could make it very tricky, as on average Golden Legendary happens every ~90 packs or more. Golden Epics aren't much better, going by my own tracking so far.
But for such a longtime player, I agree what matters the most is having fun and setting up various goals at your own pace.
Correct, at least that's how Dragon packs behaved. You will also find Phoenix packs on the new Rewards Track, so getting that first epic/legendary from them should be very quick.
If you have every single card, no difference indeed. I mean, you could try for a very slim chance to open another Ysera and get more dust from that once the Core set arrives, but that's more of a dream. ;)
It's more like it wouldn't be much of a list if almost everyone picked Wrenchcalibur. ;) Hearthstone didn't really figure out a good way to handle weapon decks. You end with cases where they are too powerful if not removed, or made completely useless by some tech cards.
If there will be any new info to add, we will make sure to stay on top of it! From what we know so far, I don't believe that free Geddon will be counting towards duplicate protection from the packs (technically the Core version will be a different uncraftable card that that is being loaned to you for that duration).
Yes, there will be new achievements for the parrot and Murk-Eye. So you should get auto completion once they go live, and I imagine the reward once collected.
Personally I very much enjoyed both Conjurer's and Cyclone when they were on my side. Much less so if it were my opponents absolutely highrolling with them, especially in any competitive format. And that, I suppose, was part of the problem.
I think that Carpet was largely forgotten for the past year, as you say, since Zoo moved towards other directions. Probably why it's not as fresh on people's minds. I don't think Broodmother was ever particularly problematic, but I could see how it could be considered a nuisance if you experienced a larger amount of Plot Twist Warlocks.
There is a way, look at the borders and the area that shows your number of wins. Especially at the crossed axes. Casual is grey dark, relatively plain. Heroic shows yellow, more glowy, more adornments too. Basically like this.
They made some of these unnecessarily way too grindy, no argument there. I believe they also stated their intentions to correct that for the Barrens ones, but we won't know until we see them tomorrow.
Hmm, you won't be able to bank 4 days worth of daily quests? That 4th slot is only ever being used for a special type. Last time we did not see any launch quests, sadly, so I have to wonder. I won't hold my breath as they seem to be baking that into the initial levels of Rewards Track, but it sure would be a nice surprise.
I noticed that Celestalon did tweet on the subject in response to people after all, perhaps we'll consider a small FYI. While I do agree with holding onto weekly quests in this instance (it's just a day and a half), I don't think the experience amount from daily ones really warrants denying yourself the opportunity to play with all the new stuff. The headstart from that will be really minimal.

Titles are tricky!

Oh, wow. That could be a nice chunk of dust, if nothing else. ;)
Yeah, no need to disenchant anything preemptively. We just end up with extra copies thanks to these achievements, I'm at 2 Murk-Eyes and 4 Parrots.

Now that's a throwback I didn't expect to find. Oh, the painful memories of repetitive matches.

I'm also among the few who strangely enjoyed the nervous anticipation of Bomb Warrior, even though I understand it's a divisive playstyle.

Yep. One of the most interesting parts and they don't give us details... typical.
You know it's not a legitimate list if someone doesn't disagree with it!
