But Tickatus doesn't bother combos particularly much, more than 50% of the time they have theirs assembled by the time you can get him corrupted. And even when you drop the card there is no guarantee it burns the right cards. Illucia is what stops combos, on the other hand.
All Tickatus does is utterly kill all those slow control/fatigue/value decks you say you love, now and in the future. So I'm surprised at this defense.
That's why it can't be just "you nerf Illucia and leave Il'gynoth unchanged", it's all connected. But as someone who is a fan of Dirty Rat to this day, that card was never even half as offensive. It was a great tech with many implications and own weaknesses.
There is no better proof as to the card being problematic that when people go "oh, what if they have Illucia in hand, I better play X way so I won't be screwed as much". And then turn after turn after turn, every time. It becomes ridiculous.
There is some skill to playing her and players can be punished for getting it wrong, but it also means no deck that relies on a certain combination of cheaper cards will be allowed to exist for two more rotations. I wouldn't mind if they reworked the card so it isn't an instant "I W.I.N." button against certain decks. Same with Il'gynoth and Tickatus, really.
Oh noes, not my precious Conviction and Crabby Murloc.
Anyone who doesn't think the trio of Tickatus/Il'gynoth/Mindrender Illucia is problematic and quite toxic for the game, I would direct to Vicious Syndicate podcast nr 40 as it explains the whys and hows at length. It's not so much the power levels themselves, but how many potential decks and gameplay strategies are being nipped in the bud just due to their current existence.
Hmm, I guess that also means having to craft Gelbin and ETC? And I've disenchanted Ysera, so there is also that. So not anytime soon, but it's an interesting initiative for veteran players and dedicated collectors.
But in the orginal Dungeon Run you have got the initial deckbuilding too? The starter decks? Except that "netdecking" is the same for everyone as done by Blizzard, taking the choice and experimentation out of your hands. Isn't that far less interesting to always start with the exact same decks per class? Currently in Duels there aren't 15 widely agreed upon cards for most heroes and treasures, nor proof the ones being chosen are the best. I'm surprised that would be your reason for not giving it a chance.
Updated the Rewards Track to open to the earliest page on which you have unclaimed rewards
Now that's no fun when I leave an unclaimed random Epic on purpose, so I can pick those annoying uncraftable golden ones first and lower the chance of duplicates.
Updated the Collection to so that Core and Legacy cards no longer take up 4 spots with Golden versions. Core set cards will take precedence based on card amounts.
Fixed a bug where the Collection manager wouldn’t remember what format was picked when entering from the Play mode screen.
Ow. And here I thought they learned how to discount suitably old cosmetics. Adding the gold option is nice, but both that and cash price could've been adjusted to a lower amount as it started.
Pretty much my sentiments. Feels bad when Masters Tours get their prize pools greatly reduced and not even a crowdfunding bundle, but inviting mostly the same people (who largely stream Hearthstone 90% of the time anyway) over and over again is somehow meant to help promote the game further.
Hello! I'm rather fond of how many voice variations of one line there are, which almost makes him more endearing than annoying. Especially once the rope starts burning.
But doubt I'll get there in time, only managed to find enough gold for Medivh with a day to spare. And if Magni gets offered sometime soon, that's another temptation.
Looks like it's not going to be possible to keep up with the cosmetics in the long run by only spending gold, unless somebody forgets packs alltogether or holds up a true infinite in Duels/Arena. In retrospect makes me glad for passing on Thunder King, Sylvanas, and various initial cardbacks.
Yes, this seems very light all things considered. But at least they are really trying to adjust Duels as much as (if not more than) Standard, for the time being.
But that's not how it works in literally any sports, be it digital or physical. You see your renowned players suspended or removed if they mess up enough to bring bad reputation to their organization, team, themselves, etc. Being able to compete is not a basic right, it's more of a privilege.
It's a bit weird with these distinctions, took me a moment to figure out (didn't even realize I was on a "brand account" by default). It's not my original (the original was the Google one with full name), but it still feels strange.
First DOTA: Dragon's Blood (which proved to be quite stellar), now this. Seems like a good year for animation.
It may well be just 6 episodes knowing Netflix. :P They have this very weird model going on recently.

Thank you, makes it a little sweeter to have pored over all that. ;)

Thankful for those.
Oh?
Judgement Paladin without showing the helmet on just isn't quite as iconic. But hey, at least we get the shoulderpads! And the sword to match.
Gul'dan and Thrall could almost pass for siblings there. And Garrosh looks kinda Warlock-y, I quite like him and Valeera. Rest not so much.

I assume they've had a chance to deliver and change your mind by now? Still a pretty awkward system, all in all.

Hearing about potential buffs is most interesting, because it's still such a rare occurrence.
I see what you mean. Now that I've caught up a little more with the Duels meta, it seems like Quest Rogue is indeed the new boogeyman.

Sadly it looks like they are a step behind Twitch (again) when it comes to such notifications. We may not know for sure until Monday or later today.
