I could see you getting there with more focus on HS, although it feels so grindy to me without quests. Don't think I will stand a chance even with the Tavern Pass.
Really wish they could throw us something like a small XP bonus every time we hit some high wins in Arena or Duels (and maybe BGs too, would have to be much smaller consdering time commitments). Could do wonders for the popularity of those two modes.
That was my thinking as well with the exp boosts as soon as possible; also got tempted by the Tavern Pass this time. Feels like a better deal than the first time around when I was mostly "meh, pass". Admittedly the whole Rewards Track was in a much worse condition back then, not to mention the pass deal itself.
This takes me back to the previous system, where I would always try to dodge 50 gold quests for a given day in order to try to reroll into something better. But whenever I actually wanted to play some more, it was nigh impossible not to complete some of them regardless.
I was a couple hours late to include that one, but watching with interest what might become of this particular archetype. The dream of Nazmani Bloodweaver carry will live on at the start of every new expansion, at least.
I was thinking that Tickatus might eventually get Secret Passage treatment, at the very least reduce the amount of burned cards to 3 or 4. So the fatigue game plan is less debilitating. They could also make it much harder to corrupt by increasing the mana cost to 8, as an alternative.
Isn't it much harder to consistently trigger the quest in Duels? Especially as decks get thicker later on. Not to mention getting it in the first place from a bucket.
They are giving it more attention than I'd expected with the removal of certain treasures, although still a long way to go. But if they keep that up...
I don't actually recall there ever being any pack drops for Grandmasters specifically, and this should be a first for Youtube Hearthstone? It's nice to see them finally extending it to proper esport events, even if it seems too modest for weeks 2-7. Still much better than nothing and complete lack of promotion that they've had so far.
I ended up with 3 weekly ranked quests just by rerolling without paying much attention to their order or placement (although I believe it started with the rightmost one at first, and then the mid one the following day). It looks like they not only marked it to be in the reroll pool with all the other quests, but somehow greatly increased the chances of it appearing.
Poor people trying to avoid it, could prove nigh impossible for now. But nice little bonus for all the rest. We do know it's a confirmed bug though, so only a matter of time before a hotfix or patch comes in.
We don't exactly know yet, but it should become apparent the moment this goes live. Could be its own icon, or shown in your Drops tab that you can access through Twitch profile.
I'm not so sure they might be lined up for any early nerf, as majority of the decks still tend to go Watch Post-lite (though I saw some calls for stat adjustments). Currently there seem to be two camps: Watch Post fans who claim they are the best thing ever to slot in, and naysayers who say they are barely a nuisance without any real impact on games and that everyone is wrong playing them.
According to Blizzard, they've hotfixed all bugs and it should be safe to open them now. We haven't yet seen enough reports from people to confirm whether everything is fully working as intended.
Guess we are not yet used to Core having usable legendaries that are free. ;) I pretty much agree, Rokara seems the least impactful of them all for now.
It's just assuming best case scenario, as with every theorycrafting thing. I doubt I will have them all either (not pre-ordering), so I expect trying out some semi-budget versions at first. We'll see what works live! Anything similar within Rush/Frenzy/Taunt category might do in a pinch, or perhaps we'll be forced to run more removal.
Oh, it actually does find her pretty viable, especially once buffed or if you have the board. I won't be surprised if she finds her place. It's more meant in a way it's not the kind of Legendary you look at and go "whoa, so powerful it might single-handedly decide games", or anywhere close.
Now Playmaker is where I'm more of a non-believer. That card just feels awkward to use and to find a spot for.
I think I won't miss it mainly because the whole Highlander concept and Zeph being ubiquitous just became really old. Much like Reno Jackson burst heal back in the day, although that never felt nearly as impactful. Having another break from this concept should be refreshing. The card on its own has certainly been very flavorful and unique, but in retrospect that mana cost should have perhaps been a little higher. I did have my fun with it.
Maybe it's because that downside of not being able to put a 2nd copy hasn't been a notable one for a while given the number of great cards and all the options to discover/generate your second and third copies of cards anyway.
So this was surprisingly engaging, even as it took me a little while.

That might bode well for the future with any good deathrattle card being added.

No, actually. It's never worked that way, only since Patch 20.0 it started behaving differently. So now it's back to how it always was.

Most streamers also tend to add "drops enabled" to their channel descriptions once they become active.

This does take me back to World of Wacraft times and all those places visited.
