Wooohooo I'm so happy season 3 has finally started :))
Here's something I had in mind for Scholomance because of flavor and Spell Damage synergies. Since Fireball and Flamestrike are both Fire Spell School spells, I guess this would qualify? But then, Pyroblast isn't part of the Core set... whelp, let's hope they'll reveal a Fire spell during the week. <- obviously wouldn't help because I can't put Barren's cards in a Scholomance card. So I'm down to Fireball and Flamestrike, might as well drop the cost to 3 I guess.
I managed to walk away at the right time today. Odd Rogue carried me easily from Diamond 5 to 2 full stars within a day. But at D1 I hit a wall and after half a day of try hard mode I noticed I wasn't having fun anymore. So I'm calling it quits and going back to playing Deathrattle Hunter. I'm not made for this grind and I'm happy I noticed that quickly.

After having failed to get Iksar's and Celestalon's attention multiple times outside of the Q&As, I got lucky tonight. My cat woke me up at 3 a.m. because the poor thing was starving and that was exactly the time when Iksar had this week's Q&A up and running. Still no answer to still the same question:
Can we have an option to play with purchased alternative Hero skins and show off 1.000+ class wins at the same time? My suggestion would be to follow the ladder system using the Hero Power borders, so 500 wins = golden Hero Power border, 1.000 wins = platinum, 2.000 = diamond, 5.000 = wooden.
I'm grasping for straws here, but the fact that I've never gotten a response in what feels like close to 10 occasions I've posted the question plus the announcement of a new cosmetic might mean they're actually doing this. Fingers crossed!
I'm not even sure if I'm more happy or more concerned, but Odd Rogue is a beast. I've had two or three losses from start of the season to Diamond 5 with a 9 star bonus. That's what, 75%? 80%? The longest win streak was 9 games because I played and lost with another deck on one or two occasions. It's insane how aggressive this deck is, the synergies are almost at Secret Mage level.
Super highroll highlight: a Darkglare Warlock had won the board and threatened lethal. I had nothing helpful in hand. My only out was Secret Passage into Leeroy Jenkins into Nitroboost Poison. Which is exactly what happened.
(Don't get me wrong, I know this was insanely lucky. Most of the other games weren't. The deck is so consistent it reminds me of Secret Mage, and I'm not even a good Rogue player (190 wins or something).)
Nice idea with the augmerchants! I'll keep that in mind when reveal season starts. Some feedback, even if it wasn't asked for:

It's an iconic character and well worthy of a legendary. What troubles me is the that Garona actually steals your opponent's cards, which is unprecedented in Hearthstone as far as I know. If it would draw copies, that would be very flavorful and a good fit for Rogue. But outright stealing is way OP in my opinion. Think what could be done in Wild with Brann Bronzebeard and Shadowstep alone! I'm also one of those nitpicks that prefer using the correct watermark ;-)

Very cool cards both of them, well done! I think I'd prefer Shadow Outlaw if this was a competition, but Light Archwarden is a really nice adaption of Horrendous Growth.
As I have already pointed out in the other thread, I seriously doubt that the former Basic cards will be disenchantable. To add something constructive to the discussion, I'd like to suggest that someone directly asks Iksar in his weekly Q&A about it. Sadly those take place at 4 a.m. at my place, so maybe one of you guys could do the job? I would really love to be wrong about this and it might even change if / which package I will preorder (maybe that's why they're silent about it?).
I did buy the skin and I'm very happy with it. The art seems to split the community, people either find it awful or great. I count myself among the latter ones, it's only the second skin I ever bought (the other one being Medivh). The voicelines are pretty cool and I have yet to lose a game with Odd Rogue since I got Gladiator Valeera.
With the Weekly Card Design Competitions still taking a hiatus, I was wondering if you guys are interested in sharing ideas of how cards with the new Frenzy keyword might look. Maybe someone can even predict a card before the reveals hit :-)
So here's my take:
There's probably more flavor than power, but I like the idea of the new keyword being represented by a fierce bear mother protecting her young. It should also fit the focus on Beasts and midrange cards that we deduced from the Core cards, so I put it in Hunter even if Druid might have been a good place as well.
What do you think? I'm always grateful for feedback and curious about your own ideas for Frenzy.
