That's correct! The trees in Lorien are Mallorn (plural Mellyrn). "Mellyrn were similar to beech trees in that their bark was smooth and silver-grey, but their leaves, which were green above and silver beneath..."

Poison Ivy is correct Fedrion! I did pose the two questions in the correct order though (so Poison comes second). Think some more about R's guess about the trees but with more detail...

Sure. I'll give you three of them, I don't want to frustrate you.
First hint

The person you are looking for is not actually living in Washington (the city), "Washington" is a code for something else. You can solve this by trying to find a substitue for Washington (the city).
Second hint

You're only looking for the redhead's first name.
Third hint

There's a major keyword for the answer to question 2 planted in the "Washington"-sentence.

No to all of those. R got the closest so far with their guess of "trees" for part 1.
I'm happy it did not end up too easy, but I'm fairly confident you'll get it soon. Hint: Both parts are entirely non-Hearthstone related, but if you put together the answers to the questions, you'll get a card.

I have played against someone using only basic and classic cards last weekend (so way before the patch). My best guess is people are training for Classic mode.

Definitely Hero Power Mage and Frenzy Warrior. I also tried to come up with a Deathrattle Shadow Priest, but I think that won't work. The list below was drafted before the final reveal, so I'll have a second look at it soon. I like your Taunt Druid list!

It's a warm summer day and you're wandering along a smooth path in Lorien. You look up towards the sky. What do you see?
There's a redhead living in Washington in a house covered in ivy. What's her name?
@DestroyerR: Please don't feel bad because I was able to solve it quickly. I enjoy your riddles very much and if it was within my powers, I'd instantly award you with a fitting forum title like Supreme Quizzmaster or some such.

Really nice list! I'll probably give it a try after my own attempts have failed miserably. But it's cool to see we're headed in a similar direction :) Taelan Fordring MVP!

Thanks for your feedback, shatterstar and Demon. I've put Burn it! into Hunter because it's themed around Sylvanas which is (at least in my head) very solidly tied with that class since she was made an alternative Hero skin. You're right when you say that the effect would feel more natural in Warlock, though. I'll think about this some more before submitting.

Thanks a lot for all your feedback on The Pumpking's Rage. I get it wasn't very much to your liking and I'm struggling to create something competitive this week. So I've decided to submit a fun card instead, which features one of my favorite characters committing her ultimate crime. It took some time to figure out how the effect of burning Teldrassil with the intention to crush all hope might be translated into a Hearthstone card. But in the end, the Banshee Queen herself gave me the cue: Burn it!
Also, more feedback!

The rules say you have to submit a Class card. Other than that, I like your idea. Thematically it might fit in Demon Hunter or Warlock, even if Prof. Moss looks a bit too nice for those two.

Lasher looks best to me, but I'd appreciate it if you could find another piece of art for it, since someone else used it first in this thread. That would probably secure both of you better votes as well. That said, I like the card and the effect.

Simple, yet powerful. It's a good card, but you might lose some points for putting it in K&C where Spell Schools were not a thing.

I prefer the second version. Nice improvement of your initial idea, well done!

Looks like someone's trying to secure a win streak. The only minor issue I can find is that Lien's art is not strictly Hearthstone style. Other than that, super nice!

I'm sorry, but I'm not a big fan. This can easily backfire heavily if it dies late in the game. Also stealth isn't a typical Hunter mechanic and the idea of a herb eating a mouse is somewhat strange.

I like both cards, but you're right, Entanglement is more interesting. I'm impressed how you come with new ideas for Hunter secrets time and time again while I constantly think that design space is used up.

Interesting idea, I like it. But I'd need some explanation. Does "asleep" mean Dormant?

Thanks Nirast. You're right, the card would be a 7 Mana whiff if you don't draw, play and kill your Squashlings in time. I think I have a solution for that, but now I'm really at a loss which Cost is appropriate. On the one hand, the card kills only enemy minions, which makes it better than Psychic Scream and Plague of Death. On the other hand, it's quite bad if you can't manage to kill the Squashlings and there's Lesser Onyx Spellstone which only costs 5 to kill 3, but has a harder (?) condition. Hmmmmm.

Not so easy to find art this week, but I'm happy with my idea:
Any thoughts? I'm a bit worried about the Cost because this can become very nasty late in the game, but at least the player on the receiving end can see it coming once the Squashlings start rolling.

I really like the card, but the Nature spell tag feels off. Please make sure to add some info about the lore to your submission for us noobs!

I really like the idea of your card, but the art doesn't feel right in Ungoro. That expansion was all dinosaurs, elementals and plants and stuff, which gives you those natural prehistoric vibes. Your minion looks like a Demon which is too dark for this setting for my taste.

I'm sorry but I don't really get where the Plant theme comes to play here. Is Sklibb some kind of Fungus? It's been a while since I've played that Solo Adventure. I also think the effect is too weak for a legendary. Finally, the art is already used in Sklibb, Demon Hunter.

Nice idea, the synergy you've pointed out makes for a solid gameplan, especially considering that Bramble Behemoth might end up attacking more than once. The one issue I have is that I'm not feeling very comfortable with a tree-like monster out in the dessert and giving Warrior a Thorn as a weapon. They usually wield big swords and axes and stuff. Don't forget to add the token!

I'm a sucker for Harry Potter and your card pretty much nailed it. I'll have to think some more about its powerlevel, though - it's basically a completely unremovable Swamp King Dred. The only chance you have to fight this is by feeding it with your minions.
Demon

I think it's okay, but not very creative. Also the "Bloom" cards that already are in the game have both something to do with Mana gaining, so applying Spell Damage to that term feels a bit off.
Congrats Arkasaur!
I can recommend Undertaker Paladin. Feels very strong!
Would you mind sharing your list?
