On a final note, I am really dissatisfied with where the Duels mode is right now: there are many issues which, instead of being solved, got simply ignored. I think the last time I really enjoyed the mode was after the Deadmines Mini-Set, which is a hell of a long time ago.
At this point, I don't even know what to expect from the upcoming Duels-focused reveal: I just hope it won't come down to "here's Tess/Shaw/both and see you in 4 months", because that would be unbearable.
One thing I don't see pointed out enough is how easy it is to revive Thori'belore: although Warrior doesn't have a ton of Fire spells available, you only need to cast one to awaken this unit.
Hypothetically, you may event revive Thori'belore multiple times in the same turn (with the limit of two, of course, but still).
Of course Sister Svalna isn't meant to be played in an aggressive meta: what you're looking for is an attrition environment, in which value wins games.
Ever since The Boomsday Project, I've been saving 700 gold each expansion (hence giving up on 7 packs every 4 months) because I knew a moment like this would've come sooner or later, and I didn't want to gut my set savings by 2000.
As for the cost of the game getting higher, I suspect the next Reward track will be more rewarding than the past ones: just a speculation of mine, but I'd be surprised to not see an increase of free stuff.
Path of Arthas is an incredibly convenient deal for 2000 gold, but that doesn't make it any less of a difficult purchase for players on a budget.
Unfortunately, no way to know as of now: we're yet to be shown a live clip.
That's exactly what I thought when we got Onyxia's Lair. However, the Year of the Hydra did us dirty.
Not that I am complaining: two new tribes, lots of new mechanics, a new class, the Runes, so much stuff. But yes, very few flying lizards...

I played right into this one, didn't I?
Cutting Class levels of good.
They came up with something even better!

Oh yeah, definitely!
The cards showcased in this article will singlehandedly bring Warrior back to playability.
Thori'belore, Light of the Phoenix, Blazing Power and Sunfury Champion (not sure about Sunfire Smithing, although it's not bad at all!) are what the class needed and Team 5 delivered it.
All the aforementioned cards are 5 stars.
I agree with you that Thori'belore isn't the flashiest Legendary we've ever seen, but I still think it's pretty damn solid.
I mean, let's compare it to the last elemental phoenix we received in Al'ar: things changed for the better!
Recasting does give you a fresh copy (Source).
Nope, you'll Discover Priest Shadow spells. There is a tweet somewhere confirming it, but I cannot find it at the moment.
However, I am 1000% confident in the answer I gave you.

This is purely a speculation of mine, but I guess that Vision of Darkness will stay in the hand of whoever casts it.
The permanent effect is engraved on the spell itself, so you don't need Svalna's Battlecry to go off for you first.
Therefore, if you're a Warrior playing Asvedon, the Grandshield you'll get a Vision of Darkness yourself!
Ayooo what is that Vision of Darkness? Nuts in a vacuum.

Late, yes, but the card looks pretty damn good!
Obviously dependent on the meta running juicy spells, but other than this Asvendon looks pretty dope
4 mana draw 1 card - unless the other 5 Warrior cards are mind-blowing, I don't see how this can be printed in 2022.
Maybe I am missing something, but Last Stand seems completely unplayable to me, especially in a format with Lor'themar Theron.
4 mana tutor 1 card is simply too much.
