However, things don't always go as planned; not every art piece is well-suited for being diamondized. That turned out to be the case with Halduron's art; a beautiful piece, but it posed problems for diamondizing.
So, we looked for suitable alternatives, and ended up swapping Haldruon for a second Death Knight card. It's the launch of DK, people are going to be excited about it, and another of theirs was a known character that was well-suited to it.
Hey there, thanks for reaching out to me for some explanations. I am going to answer to both yours and Mountaineer's comments in a single go - buckle up!
See, this patch played out a little differently than usual: in fact, we knew a lot of content was coming, so we all prepared to take one or two pieces to make the content flow steadily. However, later in the daynight we realized that nobody took care of the actual patch notes article! By the time we realized it, we thought it was too late because we already posted 4 articles, so we just let it slide.
This should not come out as an excuse, but rather as an explanation of why things played out this way with patch 25.0. We discussed the matter internally and we concluded that, in the future, we'll try our best to open with a full notes article like we did in previous iterations - sorry about the disservice!
As for bugs/game improvements, a dedicated article is on the way: however, we deemed this content to not be as pressing as other updates, so we opted for letting it simmer for a bit more time. Therefore, bugs/game improvements going live is a matter of "when" rather than "if". We also took some time to verify that some of the bugs were really solved.
Finally, I want to address the communication side of the two comments: this is actually something I deeply care about, so I don't want to miss the occasion to point out my thoughts.
Nebuchadnezzar, your post was not perceived as an imposition or as a critique to our work: you asked for explanations in a positive and constructive way, pointing out facts while not being a jerk - we do appreciate users like you and we encourage suggestions from our community!
From my experience, Arena is an absolute blast when you're able to draft a deck that isn't just a muddle of things put together - getting 30 not-so-great cards will immediately turn off any novice player.
If we really wanna cross all the Ts, the two Legendaries have never been revealed to begin with: they were leaked during the DK event from last week. Factually, this is the first time they were revealed, although we were already aware of their existence.
Moreover, there's a solid chance that some people didn't get to take a look at the leak article or, who knows, they deliberately chose to ignore it: for these users, both Devourer of Souls and Dar'Khan Drathir are totally new cards.
Remember that this site (like many others) cover news for many kinds of players: something you find useful may be irrelevant for others, but the other way around can also happen - always be respectful!
Cool but... not impressive? I don't know, it's definitely a new take on Spell Damage deck, but for some reason these cards don't spark any enthusiasm in me...
There is a specific guide for the mini-set achievements - however, what you're saying is right: I am going to update each guide with the achievement from Maw and Disorder. It's going to take a couple minutes, but then everything should be good!
Almost! Halduron's art did not allow the Diamond treatment, not the Signature one, especially because Signature cards have totally different arts!
It is a stylistic choice for this set.

I wish I had one of those full-set coins: even if I wanted, I'd have to craft a crap ton of cards to get there...
Basically the same :(

Splitting the hair in half as always, huh?

This is actually a really interesting lore tidbit - thanks for sharing it with us!

HI MAMS
Talented Arcanist + this solves all the troubles DH had at clearing early boards. Absolute nuts cards.
Also, I am so glad Il'gynoth is out of the way.
Frogson slaps

Edit: guides updated!

I personally appreciate when other user come here and give their own analysis on the new cards.
Some people live up to the hype of a card, other people prefer breaking down every information: everyone has their cup of tea.
If one is willing to do it, then yes
Sire Denathrius!
Concoctions, as in the Duels Rogue Hero Power
My understanding is that Shadow of Demise works like Queen Azshara's Ring of Tides (except for the 1mana part, obviously).
