Captain my Captain...I'M really not sure how to use you.
Granted, it'S a pretty strong play in any quest deck and my Quest HUnter will definitely try running it...but it really isn't all that flashy.
There aren'T really a lot of Quest decks at the moment, are there?
Agree!! I think it will bump out hallazi (for me at least, because I don't want to craft it but I'll happily craft this!)
No need to craft, just buy and finish the Adventure :
Ah yes... Just found that out recently. It's kind of a shame for players like me that don't spend money on the game. It's sooooo much gold to save up or otherwise forced to buy. I don't think it's fair that they'll be uncraftable otherwise
I can see why you feel like this, but you also have to consider that this is by far the best way to spend your gold: for 2800 you'll get 4 legendaries and a bunch of meta defining cards. In order to get the same amount of good stuff with packs you'd have to spend way more gold. Just save up your gold and don't spend it on packs: you'll eventually be able to farm 700g every week and get all the goodies.
Favourite Hearthstone moment from 2019 - Definitely hitting Legend for the first time, even more personally satisfiying because I did it with a list that wasn't in any Meta Report at the time (not even classified as a meme deck): yes, I was playing Necrium Blade Rogue back in September 2k19 and no-one knew what to expect from me. It was such a fun experience. MVP of the list was Blightnozzle Crawler, which won me a helluvalot of games.
The one Hearthstone thing I'm looking forward to most in 2020 - There are two things that 'd like to see and I can't really choose between them: the first one is the dusting system being adjusted in order to help players keeping up with the increasing flow of content(just some ticks should be enough); the second one is a (at least partial) rework to the Basic/Classic set, removing or improving the cards that are "out of date" (the Evergreen set should contain polarizing/meta breaking cards, sure, but neither a pile of garbage).
A little consideration on the last one: unfortunately Galakrond and The Runespear don't have great synergy. If you were to drop the former (with all its package) I'd recommend swapping Rummaging Kobold for [Hearthstone Card (Loot Pillager) Not Found] in order to have your The Runespear autoequipped a couple more times without spending your whole turn.
Only 6 could be reasonably considered, and I don't think running 4 spells total is enough (unless you run some weird big Shaman thing with Eureka or some BS)
I sincerely think this is the way. I haven't built a deck yet cause I'm waiting for all the adventure cards to be revealed, but there's actually a lot of support for Big Shaman to make it [Hearthstone Card (at least) Not Found] a solid meme.
The fact that The Fist of Ra-den loses a durability after you cast a spell and not before is a big deal, cause you can go turn 4 weapon turn 5 Hagatha's Scheme and clear or coin Eureka!/Rain of Toads and suddenly take control of the board. It appear to be good on paper, but I can't anticipate the next meta so we'll have to see.
Moreover, if you build around The Fist of Ra-den then King Phaoris is an auto include for sure, being a late game value bomb that is worth making Muckmorpher slightly less consistent.
Actually, if you value cards more than content, you should stop buying Dalaran and Tombs since they just reward 3 packs per wings, while Galakrond's Awakening's value is much higher (e.g. 28 gold for 4 Legendaries and much more)
Rising Winds - the one I'm the least impressed about, but I guess it is just because it isn't flashy. 4 mana summon 2 3/2 beasts (Mark of the Loa or Power of the Wild), draw 2 or 1 and 1. Quite flexible, I don't think it will be played in Untapped Potential Druid but it could revamp the Token archetype or give more options to the already existing and not-insanely-well performing Treant Druid. Solid card, the more I look at it the more I'm convinced it will see some sort of play.
Arcane Amplifier - more love for my boy Jan'alai, the Dragonhawk: in Wild, we'll be able to have a 2 mana deal 4 Hero Power, which should be quite good. On the Standard side, I don't know if it will see play. Sure, turn 1 Elemental Evocation into Arcane Amplifier will be the nuts, and it could give enough reasons to include Jan'alai; but the point is: is there a deck in which is worth including the Hero Power package (let's include Pyromaniac as well)? At the moment the only viable Mage deck is Highlander Mage, which doesn't seem to require more removal or burst. Maybe a new Elemental Midrange (burn?) Mage with stuff like Magic Trick, Ray of Frost, Chenvaala, Mana Cyclone and Mana Giant can pop up, but it has to be build from scratch. Really cool card: I'm looking forward to experiment with it.
Eye of the Storm - Rain of Toads and Dragon's Pack's forgotten son. I can see synergy with King Phaoris (together with other high costed spells like Earthquake, Hagatha's Scheme and such), but with that cost I think it could come in play a bit too late. We'll see, but I'm not really hot on this one, especially in a meta where Flik Skyshiv is pretty common. On a side note, this spell shows how busted pre-nerf Dragon's Pack was.
Sky Gen'ral Kragg - Since it has the same text of Questing Explorer, I guess it should work with Sidequests too. Now, this card is good, but which classes could make use of it? If we focus on the Pirate tag, Rogue can build a Bazaar Burglary Burgle Pirate deck, whereas Warrior can go Hack the System for a less aggressive but more value-oriented path. Will those archetypes be viable? Judge by yourselves, but remind: with Pirates the faster the better. Final note: I should probably keep it for myself and play the shit out of it before someone else notices it, but this card might be the hidden gem that makes Beast Pirate Hunter viable (the 4/2 Parrot is a Beast and counts towards Clear the Way's completion). It's by far the card I'm the most interested in between all the four.
They are "solo only": you can get them only if you buy the adventure; therefore, without purchasing Galakrond's Awakening you won't be able to craft them as well (as long as they remain in Standard Mode).
Edit: didn't see someone else answered, and better then me too.
I guess Paladin won't get a Hero card since Sir Finley of the Sands already changes your Hero Power, because that would create a pretty pointless anti-synergy.
Nothing is confirmed yet though, so I might as well be wrong.
Wait wait, maybe I got it: since spamming Lackeys fills up your board, playing Animated Berserker before allows you to keep some space in order to keep cycling.
Kind of a questionable strategy, but it has its own sense.
But on the other hand, that "half" wing will contain almost as much cards as any other "complete" wing (7 vs 8)
I can see why you feel like this, but you also have to consider that this is by far the best way to spend your gold: for 2800 you'll get 4 legendaries and a bunch of meta defining cards. In order to get the same amount of good stuff with packs you'd have to spend way more gold.

SI7: Fish
Atiesh (with pretty much the same effect) and Sword of Justice.
I sincerely think this is the way.

Oops, that's why I felt something was missing during the deckbuilding.
Thanks for making me notice it. Fixed ;)
I really didn't see it coming; by the way, here's my calm reaction after reading your post:
No, you can't.
Actually, if you value cards more than content, you should stop buying Dalaran and Tombs since they just reward 3 packs per wings, while Galakrond's Awakening's value is much higher (e.g. 28 gold for 4 Legendaries and much more)
With the reveal of Sky Gen'ral Kragg I don't think we should expect other Hero cards for the Explorers anymore, so yeah I'm looking forward to that.
For those who don't know what he's referring to.
My humble two cents on these sweet sweet cards
Rising Winds - the one I'm the least impressed about, but I guess it is just because it isn't flashy. 4 mana summon 2 3/2 beasts (Mark of the Loa or Power of the Wild), draw 2 or 1 and 1. Technically yes, you're right, but consider it from a flavor point of view.
I don't think it will be enough, but maybe Air Raid could revamp some Wild Even Paladin with Lightfused Stegodon and Level Up!.

So sad that this card hasn't received much support in the post-Rastakhan expansions... it's so cool...

Yeah I know: I was just making a joke about Blizzard not implementing the Evasive keyword because "it would be confusing for [new] players".
