  • I love custom cards and i've wanted a big class/expansion competition since forever. Sadly, after 8 or so years of daily play i began losing interest in Hearthstone. Got into it's mother game World of Warcraft. I'm sorry and i'm sad as well these weekly competitions have gotten basically dead. It's a real shame. Used to stay up will 1 am to see the new theme.

  • Submitted Fetch as is, thanks for feedback everyone. Remained warlock because, well, warlocks have demon pets in WoW. Demonology is the only spec that does all it's damage via pets besides beast mastery hunters. Demon hunters would never be so friendly with demons, still feels so weird to me they got demon synergy.

  • i think it depends a lot on what rank you're at. You really shouldn't accuse everyone of being a bot just cause they lay fast and are bad at the game. Sounds like just... bad players playing aggro. Bots do exist but not to this degree

  • I can confirm this issue, once again. But it only happens on my phone, laptop browser works just fine. Lags both on mobile internet and on wifi, and i have a Galaxy A53, so not an old phone either.

  • Makes me sad this is so trash cause... well, i'll just say it. Cow has some milkers.

  • Not sure if the Squire fills the requirement. If not i'll word it more weirdly.

  • Ok i'll say it. Huge milkers on that cow

Void Tear - I actually think this may be a little ok powerwise when compared with Tidal Wave. Deals less damage with just one cast, and it's not really a board wipe as you'll quickly go to full health from just the initial cast or 1 re-cast. Problem is not many people will like a "go to full health" spell in any form it comes.

Ayla, Overeager Healer - This to me seems a bit OP. Priest can (at least in wild) easily play control without playing for board. This is essentially a 6 mana twisting nether that also gives you a 5/4 body. Only issue is the enemy minions not being damaged.

I don't really like either of your cards, but of the two i think Void tear has more potential if you'd maybe go down in size/cost and try and make a Defile/Corpse Explosion for priest.

    Wailor

Northshire Steward - Bit too premium stats for it's effect. I'd make it a 3/4 or a 2/5. But solid idea, simple and effective.

Undercity Acolyte - The fact you need to match the Attack exactly keeps it in check and realistically only let's you kill 2 and 3 attack stuff. Steward is a more elegant design but i personally like this more.

    Demonxz95

Scarlet Bishop - This screams otk with [Hearthstone Card (Stonetusk Board) Not Found], Circle of Healing, Fan Club, [Hearthstone Card (Divine hym) Not Found] and cheap summons like Twilight's Call. I really like him, one of the best among the ideas in this thread, but as it is it's too easy to abuse.

Embodiment of Light - Balanced but honestly i think it's quite boring. Should be a giant i think to at least fit with the discount theme.

Observer of Ancients - Overheal 3 is not as easy to do as it seems, but i agree for 5 mana 3 damage boardclear it's a little too easily triggered.

    CursedParrot

Redeem in the Light - Priest rarely had Rush minions so i think i'd change that maybe. otherwise it's a good card. Kind of irks me that "Reward" appears in the middle of the line instead of at the start.

Lightborn Surveyor - Seems fine, just a ball of stats you need to waste cards on to heal first 2 turns to pose any real threat. Not as good as the sidequest i think. The art does seem a bit too alien to hearthstone though.

    anchorm4n

Zealous Pacifist - Can't Attack and Silence in priest have always worked hand in hand so this is a weird outlier. Beyond that, i like the card mechanically. Don't think it fits with undead however. Too defensive oriented.

    Dolphinslayer

Natalie, the Heretic - Lore wise this is an awesome card. But in balance it seems sort of both weak and OP. Weak because it's 7 mana do nothing. All hero cards so far have a battlecry that affects the board somehow, even in the smallest of ways. OP because it seems very easy to abuse Overheal with her. Each spell most likely triggers all Overheals on your minions so you can shotgun them like crazy.

    Neoguli

Goblet of Salvation - As an idea i love it. But it's beyond OP, as it's a better Iceblock. No way for the opponent to remove the death prevention and you can have a lot of Goblets via Rummaging Kobold and Bran or Raise Dead. Better tie the resurrection with having the weapon equipped then they die.

  • Year of the Wolf so let's make this appropriate.

All are made to be sort of in the same set and theme.

    • Twilight's balance either restores 2 health, restores 1 and gives 1 attack, or gives 2 attack to all minions.
    • Apostle of the Night will become a 4/4 then swap, keeping the thematics of worgens from Witchwood. Then she becomes a 4/6, 6/6 and so on.
    • Fergus is my favorite by far. It's a bit like the dragon related treasure from duels where minions die and leave a dormant grave behind. You won't get your board stuck with them cause they vanish with him when he leaves. You can revive the same rush minion several times in a row or a big taunt if Fergus manages to live a few turns.

  • Is that a... worgen demon hunter?

  • A rotating set format is in theory amazing. The issue is that it will be just like when duels first came out and make people mad and not wanna play. Those rich enough to afford buying pre order bundles each expansion and keep their old cards intact will dominate and have an immediate advantage. Most players disenchant the vast majority of cards when they rotate to wild and only keep the really powerful stuff. Even wild players only have around 5 to 20 cards from each expansion, the most powerful and broken shit.

If they make a block mode where it's Grand Tournament, Witchwood and one night in Karazan... who the hell has those cards? The game mode won't be played by anyone because no one wants to buy a bunch of packs and only be able to play with them for 3 months this year, then maybe again in another year and a half when the set rotates back in.

You need to give people a ton of freebie temporary cards, at which point you make buying packs worthless.

  • new Serpent Sting variation and 2 new cards. Now the Sting is an actual slow poison slowly eating away at the minion. EXTINCTION is an old idea i still love and laugh when i think about it. Crazy ass warlock calling down a meteor over the entire board. And Fresh ingredients, well, don't think it's very creative but i wanted to have a third idea.

    linkblade91

I think for just 3 mana this is insane removal. Compare to Shellshot. Also, from just the card alone i did not realise it jumps back to the left most minion once it reaches the right most. Thought it just stops like Rolling Fireball.

    wailor

Transmute is super cool, yet i think 2 mana and just common quality is too low. 3 mana and at least rare or even epic should be better i think. Roar of Time's "bad effect" is barely noticeable as at 6 mana very rarely you can even do something else that turn.

    Demonxz95

Seems fine balance wise, in the end you'd only really use it for card draw with the added bonus of maybe removal and a small body. i'm personally not a fan of all the Infestation variants but card seems good enough.

    Neoguli

For ethical reasons i strongly advise you to stay away from AI art. Not the place for such a discussion but in short, it's stealing from actual artists without their consent. As for the card itself, i'm not a purist to timelines so twinspell in DK works fine for me. What i don't like is the fact it's OP. Combine this with Frostwyrm's Fury or any other multiple freeze effects DK might receive and it's basically a 2 mana destroy all/multiple enemy minions. You probably compared this with Shattering Blast, but the thing is that card requires others to do anything. This alone is just a plain 4 mana destroy 2 enemy minions but it can be a 2 use 1 mana less Shattering Blast when combined with other freeze effects.

  • Delayed removal in the form of a lethal toxin. you play it and it silences the minion, choking them. On your next turn it goes dormant, paralyzing them. On your second turn it dies. It is more expensive than Corruption because it does something immediately as you play it (instant silence) and also occupies one board space for the opponent for a turn. Since Silence is 0 mana and Corruption 1, 2 mana for this feels appropriate.

Also i'm a little salty someone won with a submission very similar to mine and they never used the discussion thread, but i also came very late so i'll accept my loss.

  • Gotta say it's very cool you did your own art for all cards. Xe'ra looks very cool!

  • Hey everyone, i'm super late this week D:

A new keyword for hunter! Lean in more in the Hunter fantasy by gaining bonuses for successfully hunting something in a turn!

    • Reptile Fetcher - Functionally a 2 mana 4/3 if you can activate Predator. Of course you can hit something else of higher priority other than the Crocolisk. The purpose of the card is to also offer you something to hunt in the case the enemy has no minions. The crocolisk is just the vanilla 2/3 one, hope it's clear enough that it doesn't need a token.
    • Night Hunt - Hit and track your prey! A little less efficient damage/mana value but the Rush carries over to the next turn allowing you to play a Beast and attack right away to trigger another Predator next turn.
    • Cobraptor - Very proud of the name first of all lol. But the card is similar in that it promotes beast play and hunting fantasy. You select your mark and sick your pet onto it next turn, hopefully killing it for Predator. If you are already in a chain of kills you can make killing the cobraptor super hard with stealth. He's beefy enough to benefit from Night Hunt too, possibly taking down 2 to 3 targets even.
  • So many good cards. My idea for now is kinda generic, more a placeholder till I find something inspired. Will write feedback later today.

  • This is a 2 mana Soul of the Forest so let's keep that in mind. How good or easy it will be we can't tell quite yet but suffice to say it's not weak. Warlock loves to have a board full of Murlocs (Chum Bucket) or imps (Vile Library, Impending Catastrophe). Even getting only 2 minions out of this is worth the mana you pay.

  • Any way to access them again? There were around 15 but now we can only use 10. Also lost color variations to some of the ones we can access.

  • This is how I'll always call this card now.

  • Changed the wind blessing to be about weapon attacks and the near Shaman exclusive keyword, Windfury (seems so obvious now lol). Also added a condition to Thrall's battlecry. By playing a card of each type (which are all equally important to Shaman's identity) you show you mastered them all and can get a power boon.

    Feedback:

CursedParrot - I really like the Thrall more. Valera's effect could be problematic if it bounces too many times. Could have a randomly generated hand each turn almost.

Demonxz95 - Honestly it's kinda weak. Remembrance of Ice exists and is technically better, as you get another copy instead of Jaina's 6/6 vanilla body. of course mage has more reliable freezes than DK, but the inconsistency of having her in her hand is the biggest drawback.

anchorm4n - The no Duplicate one i like more because i'm a sucker for Highlander. And the 10 damage taken condition is very very easy to fulfill. Each  step on the Questline asks you for 8.

BloodMefist - Garrosh' idea seems the better one to me. The fact it has taunt matters more for handbuffs than for the taunt itself. Still it would be nice if he had a way to increase his own Attack somehow.

AeroJulwin - The inheriting version is the best and as a priest main i'd love for this to be real, but please don't make it 6 mana. that's way too expensive. 4 or 5 would be much better. The issue with these sort of decks is that either you have too many spells and few minions to buff or too many minions and don't draw spells in time.

Dolphinslayer - Water Elementals and Arcane spells just don't mix thematically. Also that one has too many words to fit in the box nicely. The mass freeze version seems better. I don't like the random damage nuke version because we already have too many of those in game (2 c'thuns, daddy Denathrius, and now Astalor. It's just a huge game ender you have to do little for it to be OP. Mage can spam elementals all day.

Neoguli - Uther is better. Perfect flavor, the 3/3 theme fits, effect is good but not game winning alone. Anduin doesn't really work i feel because the merge between priest and warrior is… well, a paladin. Warrior of Light, which is technically what he becomes.

Wailor - There is definetly too many water elemental Jainas lol. The Rexxar one i like more cause it's the only Rexxar so far. And the effect is quite good but also self limiting. After 3 spells, any more fizzle out, don't trigger him anymore. Not sure how to word it to not let that happen.
