  • This is what i love most about new expansions. When they make old cool yet unplayable at the cards actually viable.

  • Each player replays stuff from their perspective and with random targets. Longer you make the time loop, more chaotic it will get. Looped Time does not replay Time Loop so you can't go infinite with a single copy. But when you make a time loop in a time loop... xD

  • Hello, I'm back. Here's my idea for this prompt

I wanted to make a worgen that switches from light to dark but I couldn't quite fit in all the words. Hope it's OK like this.

  • Seems to me Blizzard is really taking the word Skins literally. No alternate heroes, just... same character, different clothes. Starting to feel like League of Legends here. Just last expansion we got water Sylvanas. We have normal Sylvanas, fire Sylvanas, now blood Sylvanas. We got normal Tyrande, water Tyrande, ice Tyrande, fire Tyrande, now we get holy Tyrande. Its like pokemon evolution lmao.

Morgl Holmes and Prince Renathal  are the only true new skins imo, and we already have several murlocs for shaman. Just wish we'd get other big characters from WoW as heroes, like the first skins. There's yet to be any worgen or goblin or pandarean skins!

  • What happened? What did Thijs do?

  • It seems that, despite it being druid's identity, the devs could not Choose One theme for this expansion.

Seriously, what the hell is this set? Nature spells, treants, deathrattle support (with only 1 big deathrattle), big minions...? Convoke the Spirits was Arcane till last moment too if you can believe it.

  • There is quite strong synergy here actually. Bibliomite can save a card you do not wish to discard and it reduces your hand by 1 so effects like  the glaive trigger fully more easily.

  • ... what? This makes... 0 sense. The only possible scenario is they're about to give warlock some insane card draw option or discard synergy. Yeah yeah it's maybe busted in wild, maybe not. But only looking at standard and revealed cards this is Surrender to Madness levels of garbage, even more so.

  • Idea is that you can either buff up your stuff or destroy 1 minion. if the minion has 1 gift from a previous cast of this spell, receiving another will kill them. issue is finding a mana cost/gift number balance. 3 mana destroy a minion felt ok since priest can do it for 2 but what do you guys think?

  • This seems kinda meh...? infuse 8 to basically cast Call of the Wild. That's a very steep price. I think any infuse above 2 or 3 is not gonna be good because it's asking for so much. Have the card in hand and have 4 minions die on your side. Hunter doesn't really have much token generation. Sure we may get some, i hope we will, but as it stands now i don't think this card will be played for the same reasons Bolvar Fordragon, Blood Herald and Nethrandamus were not played. (and bolvar was in a class that has as hero power summon a 1/1!)

  • Alright, who's the guy that keeps submitting 0 cost stone spells? xD

  • Seems like a worse The Leviathan for warrior. Honestly it doesnt impress me much. Hit twice for 4, leave a 4/5 or 4/6 body at best on the board.

Could keep it as weapon to make it immune to usual removal but viper is still played a ton.

EDIT: Oh, you can attack with the minion a second time. Oops. So that's 4 damage three times. Definitely better but idk how good it will be in the end

  • Honestly this to me seems like a worse The Leviathan. Deal 4 damage twice in a turn and remain with bug stats on the board. Only you will only have one 4/5 or 4/6 body realistically and you dont draw a card. You could attack with the minion and not with the weapon thus making it "immune" to conventional removal, but viper is around already cause of pirate rogue. It's a cool gimmick but I feel it's not that amazing in practice. Warrior will play it in control but that's it. And not cause it's amazing, but it's just good enough removal.

  • Idk, reminds me of Biteweed too much. I could see this as being good if rogue gets miracle support but as of right now it will usually generate a 3/3 or a 4/4 with stealth. Good? Kinda. But enough reward to go through the trouble? Idk.

We need to see the suspect that's supposed to synergies with this. I hope it will be more like kel'thuzad and his location level synergy, than what paladin got.

  • Well this week i have only weak ideas. "Random" is something i always try to avoid on my cards and i feel it's kinda limited in scope. Majority of the cards will be "deal damage randomly" or "generate random cards (most likely spells)" i bet. Anyway, this is what i managed to come up with:

Cascade is simple in concept but not sure how to make it less wordy. I followed the text format of Rolling Fireball.

    Feedback:

    Demonxz95

cool idea, seems balanced enough. Not sure how good the effect might be in practice but it's certainly novel.

    linkblade91

It's balanced and kinda cool. The shrinking/weakening aspect of shurikens is a bit forced in flavor, but it's a decent card.

    Wailor

Bit of a Gazlowe powercreep, but it's better than the witness.

    AeroJulwin

Honestly best card here, 5 stars from me and already a winner in my book.

    R

Marin is a cool callback and works great for this comp. Lady Sarevess is a bit too complicated and weird.

    Demonxz95

Location, bold move. We can't quite tell how strong or bad they will be, but this seems alright, on the weaker side. 5 mana for a random Sap and Shadowstep is kinda costly but it can't be too cheap either. In the end the random part kinda makes this unplayable imo but it's a good concept otherwise.

  • I hope we will see them more often than quests and heroes though. Those ones are legendaries with often game warping effects, so of course they cant be overused. But locations should be viewed more like weapons than quests and heroes. And I think we can see a couple of locations every expansion without much issue.

  • This new site update has some issues, which are quite severe imo. The new video ad at the top of the page is obscuring all menus on all platforms i tried. Bellow you have several screenshots which prove what i mean.

    Firefox

Top of the page without me hovering over anything.

Top of the page with me hovering with my cursor over the "HS" dropdown menu, which is the only way to access game portals since you removed the big buttons.

As you can see all options are obscured. Next one is me hovering over the "Expansions" dropdown menu which shows only the video ad is covering up everything. the other ad to the right is covered by the menu as it should be.

    Edge

Don't have chrome on PC, so i tried the only other browser i have. As expected, same bug.

Not sure why on Edge i only have 2 dropdown menus. Perhaps because i am not logged in. Video ad still obscures everything.

    Chrome on Mobile

On phone i use chrome, and same issue!

Page without me touching anything, its as it loads in from google search.

Page after i tap the menu button in top right (the 3 horizontal lines). Ad didn't move or get covered by the menu, it covers the menu. Btw, why is the menu button on the right but the menu slides in from the left?

I hope this is enough evidence. Now for a more general feedback on the update, removing the game portal buttons is imo a mistake. It makes navigating the site confusing and not easy at all.

  • Actually the curses do keep increasing in damage even if the enemy hand is full. But yes, in 99% of the time it's wasteful to throw away a curse.
