I don't think this will see play. The only reason Ray of Frost saw play was because it were 2 freezes in 1. And i think Brain Freeze will still be better than a 1 mana Snap Freeze.

10/10 meta warping card. One of the main early game draw engines for Secret mage in Wild, and it's always good. Great stats for the cost and amazing tutor on top of that. This will 100% see play and might make standard secret mage a lot stronger. (Luckely Ancient Mysteries and Cloud Prince rotate, otherwise Secret mage could have dominated standard.)

Meh, i don't like seeing this in the Core set. You know a secret is bad, when WILD Secret mage doesn't even run it. You really don't want to spend 3 mana in order to gain a 1-2 drop.

I like the buff. It sees play very occasionally, and this mana change might help it a lot. It basicly is Frost Nova but only affects 3 minions and actually can be played around, making games against mage a lot more interactive. Which is always good i.m.o.

Arcane Intellect has seen a lot of play and still sees play today alongside Rigged Faire Game, and 3 mana draw 2 is such a staple that they have to powercreep that in other classes. (DH) Glad to see it still in standard. Mage really doesn't want to lose that reliable draw.

Perhaps the most core of all core cards. Fireball has seen a lot of play ever since launch and i couldn't imagine mage without it. That being said, i wouldn't mind it if they rotate it out next year and give us Iceball from Jaina's BoH as a replacement. Could be COOL next year.

I personally use this in my Wild Casino mage deck, and boi is it bad. (And fun) Glad to see it with +1 health, maybe it might see play in some kind of Tempo Mage deck for it's decent aggresive stats and the chance to discover a burn spell?

OH MY YOGG YES I LOVE THIS CARD! It is a TRULY random card, and i love it. (True RNG = actual chance of getting something bad, instead of getting something good 99% of the time.)
Can't wait to use it in all my mage decks in standard! :)

Interesting effect, and it might hint towards more hero power synergy being printed this year. (If they wanted to do that they should have given us Jan'alai, the Dragonhawk as well :,[ )
Also has good tempo stats so might be used in some kind of tempo mage?

Staple Mage card, just unfortunate it never sees play. The only time you would ever see it is from a randomly generated Deep Freeze. Let's hope that the new meta will be nicer for it.

Meh, the buff doesn't really do anything. And unless we see some kind of Hero power synergy cards printed for mage (Like in Rastakhans arena) then i don't think this will see any play.

Solid removal. Didn't see play a a while, but now it deals more damage i think it will 100% see play. Also Blizzard is gone so Flamestrike is now the last late game board clear mage has in the core set.
this has always went to your face, but i don't think it will see play as long as libram cards are in standard.
Decent card, but not sure if it will see play.
Might see play? At least in Wild. ODD Paladin will love it and i will hate it. :(
Kinda good now with the buff. Might actually see play! (Probably as a 1 off to replace Amber Watchers healing.)
Always been a great card in control Paladin decks, and i think it will see a lot more play.
Really nice to see this back. It can be played around and takes a bit more skill on the mages side to use perfectly. I like it.

Great survival tool that always saw play when aggro is popular. Glad to see it in the core set.
