  • Its niche, but realistically just never going to be good. It doesn't even have vanilla stats for some reason.

Reminds me alot about History Buff. But infinitely shittier.

  • Bumper Car saw play, if you needed tokens, this card happily provides.

The two beasts also helps with Frostsaber Matriarch, if nothing else.

  • Has decent attack. But honestly, is there any reason not running Sneaky Delinquent instead?

The fact is that this will nearly never live past the turn. You can do some shenanigans with Ramming Mount or Ace Hunter Kreen, but no hunter can keep a card in hand just so this can gain more value than it deserves.

  • Its bad. 2 attack really doesn't kill much, and this card needs to honor kill something to even be half way decent.

A very average card, even in arena its not really that scary because this thing has no rush. So your opponent will likely just trade in such a way to prevent this from getting value.

  • Its a good card in some metas, but probably too normal for ranked.

Still, if token decks are everywhere, there's no reason not to tech this in.

    Prove me wrong, Piggyback Imp.

  • Too bad leeroy isn't in standard or I'd legitimately play this to shaft it.

It has applications as a tech card. But for now, its unknowable because we have no idea whats going to be meta next.

To be honest, since most minions good enough for standard have by default a higher health stat than attack, this could potentially boost your removal options' efficacy. We'll see.

  • Not consistent enough for aggro, and too weak for everything else.

But its not too bad a minion, just not good enough for standard.

  • Loot Hoarder is literally better.

    Next please.

  • It looks bad, but realistically you'll never ignore this on board if it does come out.

Fits right into elemental frost shaman, or any shaman deck because even if its mere bait your opponent can never take the risk. At 5 health, its still a decent minion in of itself, not easily removed.

  • To get value, you need a board. And then you need your opponent to either ignore your board or not be able to deal with this minion first. And this doesn't have taunt.

So many things need to happen, and this being a fairly vanilla minion to begin with. In other words, just play something else.

  • Terrible even if you manage to trigger the honor kill. It'll deal with two minions but will likely be dead itself. So its a 5 mana removal option. Plenty of those elsewhere. Costs too much, and if you cant trigger its honor kill you've just shafted yourself.

  • Unlike the old Anubisath Warbringer who existed at a time where cheap charge minions are present, this one does not.

It also has the downside of being a deathrattle so you're basically allowing your opponent to disrupt or ignore it. One of the reason why the former was so instrumental in DoD was because you simply could not ignore the deathrattle because your opponent can trigger it without killing it. We dont have that anymore.

Likely just trash. And I say that as a person who loves handbuff cards.

  • Its only ever going to relevant against aggro decks or against dhunter. Basically every other deck will either kill this with a spell, ignore it, or kill you directly with a combo.

Its a decent card on its own, but for ranked its likely pushed out by other more important cards.

  • I like the art, I love the deathrattle, and it fits right up my alley. Too bad this cards very nearly trash unless team5 unwisely decides to redo the first month of the DoD expansion.

You can meme with this card, with deathrattle rogue or hunter, where its going to realistically do some real damage or combo well. But honestly, that 8 damage can go face, but will more probably end up murdering a 1/1 dude on board.

  • Scary card out of a discover. But as a playable card its too situational and too expensive.

Besides, how many classes there are that actually plays a 8 health minion? If this even gets anywhere close to being good, people will just play around it.

  • Not really good in any class but paladin and priest, and only good against certain decks.

In other words, I wouldn't bet on this being any kind of meta breaker any time soon. One of the biggest problem with this card is that it has only 2 health, and most spells and minions will easily dispose of this.

Its a card that punishes poor players, but any decent ones can and will dance around this for days.

  • Probably in mage, probably in shaman. In most cases you'll likely have better health gain cards, and in order for this to work you've got to have quite a good deal of frost spells, which both those classes have.

In a way, you can fit this into hunter too. But it'll telegraph your hand like a signal light.

Overall, I like this card. A shame its likely more of a tech card than an amazing one.

  • Its a good card in rogue and priest. Because both can easily turn this into a 0 mana cost spell that gives out 2 health, a not insignificant amount.

If that inner fire priest is coming back, then this card will no doubt be a good tech choice depending on the meta.

  • Its one of the strongest anti aggro cards you can have early on the game.

Just imagine the bs openings from token druid and this one card basically equalizes tempo to a degree.

If it does have a problem, its opportunity costs. And the fact that if its ever good enough, most aggro players will probably just deal 4 damage per turn until they can deal with it.
