My opinions. I'm trying to keep things short, so I apologize in advance over the crappy writeout.
Some of these changes I was not expecting, like how [card]crabrider[/card] is nerfed. Basically this card is niche now, as a sort of tempo clear option, but in no way ever going to be good enough for an aggro deck since the …
For some, its for relief. For others, its so they can properly plan ahead.
Let's be honest. If all the nerfs and buffs are settled in the dev's minds, what kind of drawback is there for them to simply let the community know earlier before the patch hits? Its not like its never been done before.
Gonna have to pass. Midset coming around so that's another 15 bucks.
Really wanted Khadgar, but 10 bucks is kinda too much considering that there's still the midset coming round. What's with the high price anyway? Apparently it was out at around half of that when he was first released.
Guess we'll only find out what the nerfs and buffs are the second they are released.
I can only guess the reason for this. Probably because they're still testing something in that list and didn't want to commit. I mean there's 10 buffs this time, and with the midset probably by the end of the month to consider as …
Damn you're right. I honestly didn't notice this at all.
Wouldn't have thought team5 would do something like this. Treants when?
Is this confirmed? That Nzoth can bring back 'quilboar' minions despite this not being a labeled tribe . Does that mean treants can be brought back too?
If you're going for whether the set is good in terms of meta relevance, then maybe 2k gold or 20 bucks is a little steep. Nearly all the good cards are rares and commons and the only legendary with even the broadest relevance would be [card]moonfang[/card], not rustwix, and even then its not really that good.
Of course, there's …
The first interaction is likely a bug. I've not known that to happen.
But the second is well known, and was used in tournaments previously, so the devs should be 100% aware of it. It makes some sense, since the spells are flagged to be discarded at the end of the turn, but by returning it to your deck …
Even if its not going to murlocs, its likely going somewhere towards a tempo shaman. I suspect its likely their elementals get buffed and assuming its a worthwhile buff and shaman gets to tier 2 at least, its likely going to be a tempo deck.
Control is out. If it ever gets viable then tickatus warlock takes center stage …
Okay, so not all caravans would be buffed, which is fair considering [card]soldier's caravan[/card]. I'll still expect to see [card]tinyfin's caravan[/card] be buffed though.
I know this is never going to get nerfed.
But fuck [card]devolving missiles[/card] man
I'll gladly accept that its a shaman card. In mage it simply makes the casino nature of the deck even worse. I swear the win rate of this card should be a lot higher than it ever seems.
you mean achievement points right?
No cheap xp anywhere here
Yeah, unfortunately reddit didn't spell it out nicely. Nearly wanted to break my keyboard after that first reset.
Its been nicely worded out by @Cowtastrophe below
Giving broomstick an aura effect will likely not solve the problem but make the card more viable, since its just basically a cheaper [card]magic carpet[/card] now.
I think its easy enough to just bump it by 1 mana. A 2 mana 1/1 that gives out rush is much harder to play out.
Well, I certainly did not expect to see both nohandsgamer and tom60229 get eliminated early.
Specialist needs some rework honestly. Its kinda boring to watch, but I guess that's because like the last time nearly everyone is just playing mage. Get ready for the eye rolls on turn 2 all over again.
Well, the nerfs are fairly obvious. 1 murloc, 2 paladin spells, 1 mage spell. The last one candidate is less obvious. Perhaps its that guy who lost his wife, who is currently pretty much in every deck from control to aggro.
Buffs:
4 caravans
shaman cards. Likely its elementals.
Maybe some druid cards, or some taunt …
Just so there's one less unfortunate victim to the hunter's bazaar
When you do everything right, you'll have 10 gold and everyone on the 2nd row will have no more demands.
After this press the fking hero power button.
If you end up pressing the end turn button everything will reset and like me you'll waste …
Its posted 12 months ago, so I assume that's because core still isn't yet a thing and we get classic packs.
Happy to know you like it. Ive added [card]nagrand slam[/card] into the list mostly because of consistency, to ensure that primordial protector will always hit something big instead of whiffing since its entirely possible to draw both jewels and stranding your win condition. Nagrand slam itself is a good card, if we ever get to 10 mana, so that's another …
