Really wanted Khadgar, but 10 bucks is kinda too much considering that there's still the midset coming round. What's with the high price anyway? Apparently it was out at around half of that when he was first released.
Guess we'll only find out what the nerfs and buffs are the second they are released.
I can only guess the reason for this. Probably because they're still testing something in that list and didn't want to commit. I mean there's 10 buffs this time, and with the midset probably by the end of the month to consider as well.
Edit: should have added that though the official reason is 'localization', I don't think its too much effort to at least let us know what cards are being affected. Unless, as I suspect, that there's still some amount of testing on certain cards in that list and they're waiting until the last minute.
Is this confirmed? That Nzoth can bring back 'quilboar' minions despite this not being a labeled tribe . Does that mean treants can be brought back too?
If you're going for whether the set is good in terms of meta relevance, then maybe 2k gold or 20 bucks is a little steep. Nearly all the good cards are rares and commons and the only legendary with even the broadest relevance would be Moonfang, not rustwix, and even then its not really that good.
Of course, there's still another year so there's always the chance both Keywarden Ivory and Dark Inquisitor Xanesh would be relevant at some point, but I think its unlikely.
But if youre like me and would prefer to climb up the ladder with meme decks then this is an absolute must get, because its 4 legendaries for 20 bucks (or 2k gold), unlike the ready-to-go decks (which incidentally is quite hilarious because a nerf patch would be in literally a week after they're open for sale) which may fetch you duplicate legendaries.
The first interaction is likely a bug. I've not known that to happen.
But the second is well known, and was used in tournaments previously, so the devs should be 100% aware of it. It makes some sense, since the spells are flagged to be discarded at the end of the turn, but by returning it to your deck you removed the flag. If they haven't addressed it yet, then I suppose that interaction is 'working as intended'.
Even if its not going to murlocs, its likely going somewhere towards a tempo shaman. I suspect its likely their elementals get buffed and assuming its a worthwhile buff and shaman gets to tier 2 at least, its likely going to be a tempo deck.
Control is out. If it ever gets viable then tickatus warlock takes center stage and we know that's something team5 would never want to see.
Burn is out too. Trust me, you don't want to see burn shaman ever in tier 1.
I'll gladly accept that its a shaman card. In mage it simply makes the casino nature of the deck even worse. I swear the win rate of this card should be a lot higher than it ever seems.

Well, the nerfs are fairly obvious. 1 murloc, 2 paladin spells, 1 mage spell. The last one candidate is less obvious. Perhaps its that guy who lost his wife, who is currently pretty much in every deck from control to aggro.

Ive added Nagrand Slam into the list mostly because of consistency, to ensure that primordial protector will always hit something big instead of whiffing since its entirely possible to draw both jewels and stranding your win condition. Nagrand slam itself is a good card, if we ever get to 10 mana, so that's another reason to run it.

Okay, so not all caravans would be buffed, which is fair considering Soldier's Caravan. I'll still expect to see Tinyfin's Caravan be buffed though.

Giving broomstick an aura effect will likely not solve the problem but make the card more viable, since its just basically a cheaper Magic Carpet now.
I think its easy enough to just bump it by 1 mana. A 2 mana 1/1 that gives out rush is much harder to play out.
