  • This can come out around turn 3-4, and that's pretty scary. If this starts in the hand, the card is literally broken. Reminds me a little of Medivh, the Guardian, with great tempo swing if you clear the board and this triggers.

If the dragon that comes out of this costs 6, Conjurer's Calling might be meta again. Waiting for cyclone giants mage to make a comeback.

  • Already doing rounds in OTK pally, but with such a high cost the card can never be in any deck that doesn't mana cheat. Overall great design, but I really wish I can get another random legendary on launch, especially since the dragon aspects looks so damn good this expansion.

  • 7 damage to face and a 3/5 body that must be eliminated. If this ever comes in on a empty board the game might as well be over. Hero power on 6 never felt better.

  • Practically a 3/1 played on curve. The invoke and 2 1/1 imps may be the only reason why this card will ever see play. Outside of being played on curve this is trash.

But ever since odd paladin became the most cancerous deck for the entirety of last year, anything that spawns two 1/1 minions deserves a second chance.

  • Will only see play if there are no other invoking cards available. Its decent in all the Galakrond decks shown except in priest since it will most likely result in a somewhat small tempo swing when played.

Its rare for a card that carries the new keyword to be designed so ridiculously weak that it never sees play. Don't think there's going to be any more new neutral invoke cards to be revealed, but I damn well hope I'm wrong.

  • Decent stats, dragon tribe synergy, and mana cheat all on the same stick. But this will only see play if priest can do an OTK, or invoking cards are decent and plentiful.

At the moment, it remains to be seen if there would be some kind of control priest with some mana cheat that does not  result in an auto win.

  • Calling it now that there will be card printed that reduces all minion attack by 1 as long as its in play for those massive Shu'ma turns that eventually backfires into your own face. Other than that, this is only relevant in quest hunter.

  • Invoked twice, this is a card draw engine that mid range warrior desperately needs along with a weapon that does sizable damage. If the invoke allows warrior to attack, then every time its invoked you get +3 attack that clears a small minion for tempo.

Does anyone know if the invoke and hero power stack on one another? If there are enough invoke cards, this might allow 11 damage face damage shenanigans on turn 8, played on curve, assuming that the 5/2 weapon sticks.

  • There's a few payable rush minions for hunter right now, and [Hearthstone Card (Desert Spear) Not Found] isn't going away any time soon. With the right cards, this can come out as early as turn 3-4, and get value trades for good tempo. Pretty decent, and might see play depending on whether there's an equally decent replacement for [Hearthstone Card (Springpaw) Not Found] when it rotates.

  • Might be my personal savior for finally making Gonk payable,

but...more likely this will be trash for a class with unbelievable card draw who can find better use of its mana. In order for this to be even remotely relevant, druid would need weapons, keeping in mind that you not only have to hero power twice, you need to have played this first.

  • Auto include in control priest with Galakrond. All depends on how fast the meta is. Might take over from [Hearthstone Card (Shadow Word: Death) Not Found] if mana cheats not a real big thing.

But synergy with Galakrond means its always in good contention.

  • In a world where you would have to first draw this card, play it, then wait three turns and lose 2 mana each turn. Yeah, no.

Its too slow, and the rewards not too good.

  • Cute little dragon making every [Hearthstone Card (Evolved Kobold) Not Found] cry

Might even take over from [Hearthstone Card (Cosmic Anomaly) Not Found] in aggro mage.

  • If dragon hunter becomes a thing, then this will be a staple in nearly all of them. On its own its still a decent value card, with possible disruptive plays.

But hard to see anyone play this outside of dragon decks.

    In reply to Primordial Explorer
  • Reno decks will play this. Dragon mage will play this. Cyclone mage will play this. There's little reason not to play this beyond aggro mage.

Bring on the 'copy a mage spell in your hand' card and this would be in every mage deck until it rotates.

  • 8 mana 12/12 that full clears at worst.

Control warrior might include this as yet another board clear. Wonder hows the interactions of this card with Commanding Shout?

In reply to Deathwing, Mad Aspect
  • At first glance this is busted. Add enough copies into your deck and Waxadred is effectively immortal.

But since its always in danger of being silence, efforts must be made to shuffle more copies into the deck to make this work. In that case it might be arguable that [Hearthstone Card (Cairne Bloodhoof) Not Found] might be a better card.

There's a miracle dragon deck somewhere but rogue's gotta live long enough to see it happen for it to happen.

  • Toxic card in both literal and metaphorical sense.

Kill one minion and hit face for 3. All we need now is dragon card draw for hunter to complete the circle of angry people asking for hunter nerfs.

    In reply to Corrosive Breath
  • Takes up a card slot and at best buys you tempo for the first three turns. Kinda good for aggro but with paladin's poor card draw it would probably never see play.

Had [Hearthstone Card (Divine Favor) Not Found] not been HoF, this might have just made it in over [Hearthstone Card (Blessing of Might) Not Found] in a standard aggro deck

    In reply to Sand Breath
  • Draw 3 for 3 mana. Yeah, its good.

Candidate for nerf if aggro dragon rogue becomes a thing. Keep your copies lads :)
