It's too expensive, 3 mana hand neutral play + predict (which is 0 mana by itself), seems weak to me, even with rejsai, the lurker deck seem to have better options in the signature spell of rek'sai.
You need to also remember that you are 1. Returning the card to the deck first and 2. It's 1 to 3 and not every card.
Is she that bad? according to mobalytics she is "C" tier but looking into it she is just really unpopular pick in solo Q.
that's cause a lot of her power is in her sonar ability which is hard to use alone and most people don't have the patience to actually use it, I am sure that if you go and main reksai you can get good results with her.
I just really dislike her sonar ability I feel blind with it, otherwise I would play with her more myself.
I disagree: I find the "any card duplication" potentially powerful, imagine duplicating a Champion? That card has potential I believe.
It's also hard to judge the relative power level of new cards until the nerfs/buffs of previous cards have been revealed, but yeah Lurk seems a bit meh so far.
Maybe reksai changes things and stuff that give lurkers more procs..
Dunno on paper so far lurkers are underwhelming, we will see in the next few days what they get.
The phrasing “I start a free attack” should mean that you can’t add any other units to the attack. So the Snapjaw Swarm is nice with attack synergies like Azir or Miss Fortune, but otherwise the card is entirely dependent on getting a few Lurk bonuses before it’s played. Do I have that right?
I love the idea of Hexite Crystals. That doesn’t seem like enough to make a Predict-based strategy work, but one more good card in the set could get it there. (Oh, and one more question. If something shuffled into your deck, then all cards’ order is changed, correct? That means that as soon as you’ve done one Prediction, your crystals are not necessarily on the bottom of your deck anymore.)
Glad it's just him attacking, an actual unit that takes an actual risk and is actually costed properly.
I guess...like getting to masters is a brutally difficult grind. Getting to diamond is easy breezy do it on your phone in your spare time.
For me the issue is simple I want to play Heimer, and Riven, and Taric and Lux, and Yassao, and all these slow value Champs and you just can't right now and that's not fun as a deck builder.
I agree, it sucks you can't play old champions when the meta get power crept too much.
but people are too Doomsayers about the game.. it feels bad that it seems like people really easily just forget that it's a card game and they all have those bad metas, while at least in Riot they won't keep the meta that way for too long since they do have a working balance team(in contrast to Blizzard in mean streets of gadgetzan era).
I really like the design of the game and the care put into it, I wish more people would play it and there were less "quitters" when things go wrong, I believe that if they return to monthly big balance patches they can make things right again.
Thanks for the matchup tables I know Azir Irelia looses to aggro. That's why my overwhelm brew did so well against them and got me to diamond.
But the thing is what if you dont want to play aggro anymore?
What if you want to experience the rest of the games champion selection?
Then you're basically saying okay I am going to loose 70% of the time 1/5 matches.
So you essentially can't climb effectively.
That is the definition of a unhealthy and oppressive meta deck
It should be at least less popular ATM cause it has a "nerfed archtype syndrome" where people will play it less cause it just got nerfed.
Look at the bright side though it's not Blizzard we are talking about where they had Pirate Warrior around for 6 months and patches unnerfed for 1.5 years.. 3 weeks and it's fixed..
Dunno why it seems like people playing HS can coup with bigger bullshit than people playing LoR in HS the meta is toxic AF for long period of time and nobody "leaves" but in LoR there are some unhealthy metas and everyone loses their minds, at least you don't get attacked to the face mindlessly and lose every game you miss a 1 drop.
in 3 weeks, 8 July (Riot patchs all their games every 2 weeks on Tuesday nights ) we will be getting a big patch hopefully shifting the meta alongside new cards too..
Sadly they don't have that big of a team on the game yet (like in league) so they can't do as much as they did before while keeping up the content.
Also on the bright side according to this post:
it loses BADLY to aggro.
I dunno I don't play ladder much I am enjoying the new labs content :D
Looking at champ win rates is pointless most of the time, the only time it matters is when they are at the extremes (really low or really high)
since many people experiment with said champions.
For example although Fizz TF was having the highest win rate in the game a few months ago, TF wasn't in the top 5 (can't remember if he even was in the top 10) cause he was played in worse decks.
Zilean has a low deck building cost (like TF) so his win rate being low is understandable many decks can easily use him, so low performing ones are dragging his win rate down.
Malphite is hard to justify in a very aggressive meta of EZ/Draven and Irelia/Azir.
I wouldn't call Irelia Azir tier 0 (not sure if swim did, yet to watch the video) since it has hard counters: scar grounds, Fiora and Dragons.
Irelia MF is less consistent than Irelia Azir have bigger high rolls but also bigger low rolls.
there are counters specially involving Zilean, I tried a go hard deck but it's just not enough, after that I tried a vlad deck, people just rage quit when they queue into you with those Irelia decks..
I know this is a huge call but I call it now: this is going to be more broken than Hush the ability to choose new targets for enemy's spot removal, the ability to make every unblocked unit potentially leathal and the ability to protect units in combat from getting wiped out by a combat trick is so much power in a 2 mana burst speed spell that this card HAS TO BE broken.
So I guess Ionia is getting back to the playfield...
This probably costed 3 for the longest time but they saw Ionia needs help so they are releasing it at 2 cost. If Ionia will be overbearing they will probably nerf it to 3 and it will be fine.
Elixir of Wrath exists
you are paying 4 times the mana for +2 attack on a card that rarely sees play in the same region.. why?
Seems like a card that is missing reputation: costs 1 or something..
Guys listen you read it here first:
Taliyah Elise fearsomes.
Master rank here I come.
Seems very highrolly if you can constantly predict rek'sai or not.. Will see what bildgewater got to offer and what pyke does.
The pay off is there at least.. Maybe we get landmarks with lurk and we can play shapes tone more easily.

Think it should cost around 1 or 2...
But dunno we will see.

Lurk seem underpowered to me, +1/0 with prediction set up or just a zoo deck (run only lurk cards) doesn't seem to worth it.
The "mulligan a card for 3 mana" seems weak to me, predict as a card costs "0" as seen in this reveal so 3 mana for mulliganning a card.. MEH.
Can see it if you are running granets (from yugioh: cards you don't want to draw)
You can hear Ekko's theme playing when he attacks the black rose:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MbjkvQJcqf0
one of my favorite themes and favorite champions in league.
Glad it's just him attacking, an actual unit that takes an actual risk and is actually costed properly.
That Yasuo nerf though

sorry I misled you, he doesn't have victory defeat, but idle sounds.

I confused it having those with victory/defeat ones.
Chip is the best champion from the latest expansion! (he even got defeat and victory quotes!)
2 Devoted councils, and 1 of the 2/7, the deck seemed to have a lot of healing already
The soraka list is actually really good against the Irelia spam going on ladder.
added Chip cause how would they not include our boy Chip.
Irelia MF is less consistent than Irelia Azir have bigger high rolls but also bigger low rolls.

also Fiora farms them.
Thresh Nasus? same, a lot of free slays.
