Do we know whether HS users can just jump right in to Mercenaries? I vaguely recall that all you had to do to try Battlegrounds was to complete the tutorial, but for Tavern Brawls you had to level somebody up to 20.
I know Mercs doesn't rely on your collection, but my spouse does enjoy a good roguelike, and I'm hoping not to share my account!
I think the Books of Heroes/Mercenaries are fun (it's the only part of the game where I put the sound on), but basically zero replayability. So from that perspective, I can believe that they might not invest much more time and effort in this mode.
I still like it better than her standard hero portrait, where she looks like she needs to concede the game and go immediately to the chiropractor.

Perhaps they're using the "toss it out there and see what sticks" method!
I can see the golden bundle, and I'm FTP. I generally keep my golden cards, though, so perhaps that's the criteria they're using?
