I did manage to complete this using Mukla's ability to toss some stats around. It got awkward though - by the time I had Smolderwing down to a killable range, I had to heal him before he attacked a Merc large enough to finish him off.
So that's my hot tip: include somebody (like Xyrella) who can apply a targeted heal to friend or foe.
I have no WOW background, but I'm also enjoying Hooktusk. Fun voice lines, great art. I assumed her arm decorations were tattoos (pirates would have tattoos, right?), but gill-upgrades makes sense too.
It's not easy to tell a story in just one piece of art, but there are a few series to enjoy, like the ranked spells from the Barrens. I particularly like the Druid one.
I'm at level 185, and in progress on Varden's story. (Got a chuckle when Jaina told them: Pretty sure we'll be too busy dealing with the next catastrophe to hang out, but thanks for the invite.)
Alleria's comment reminded me to save the reward pack until after the new expansion drops. Any Tavern Brawl packs won't contain new cards, but class and Standard packs could.
I think the multi-pronged approach is going to be needed, specifically: they need to turn off the tap of coins for maxxed Mercs. After maxxing Kurtrus, the odds of receiving Kurtrus coins needs to be near zero.
Then, give us something to buy with the excess. I agree that portraits seems very likely, and village upgrades could work too.
An exchange rate would have to be terrible, but would still feel better than sitting on a pile of useless coins.
I'm F2P, but I do play Mercs daily (no more Battlegrounds for me), and I have piles of coins for most of the Rares. I maxxed out Blink Fox before I had even completed all the Blink Fox tasks, which led to several Feels Bad moments.
Rerolling those piles into packs or gold might invite too much abuse, but letting them sit there effectively transforms them from currency into a achievement-style score, so I was very glad when Dean told us this was paining the leads.
So if the tokens arrive even when not played from hand, does that include if a minion is transformed (via Arcane Missiles or similar) into a Colossal minion?
I guess this question is really: do they appear immediately?
If you want the equipment, I believe your Galvangar needs to be in the party, so an orc comp makes sense.
I just tried it (with Xyrella), and they got their butts kicked by the massive amounts of attack that the bosses rack up so quickly.
I think murlocs could work here, but I'd try your nature comp, esp if you have Malfurion and his root ability. You're gonna need root or freeze to stop them from whacking you in the face.
Also, ignore that prickly cactus. Plenty of players enjoy some Mercs and there's a whole thread with tips and tricks for beating bounty bosses.
Lmk what works for you, I'm still chasing that equipment too!
Neb, thank you for staying home and playing Hearthstone instead of going out and spreading Covid - good call.
Another wise decision: not having a kid (or getting a dog) just to fill up open time in your schedule.
You clearly know yourself well enough to be wary of the risk of replacing one time-consuming hobby with another. Swapping games is not the answer.
You already proved that you can trim back your HS commitments, in the financial sense. You can very likely gain control over the hours commitment too.
I do want you to take a look at the total amount of screen time in your week. Computer science, HS, TV, and internet are all wonderful, but taken as a whole, that's quite a bit of sitting and staring at an electronic rectangle. How much fresh air did you breathe this week?
It's getting late here, so I'll leave you with this thought: if your friend/cousin/sibling came to you with the same sense of imprisonment, how would you advise them?
It might add a little time to your daily total, but I think that talking about HS addiction/imprisonment/overuse is the first step toward some relief.
So, in that spirit, good job recognizing the problem.
For me, I do play HS daily, and I do visit OOC almost daily, but I'm enjoying it as a balance to my other activities/responsibilities and not feeling trapped/imprisoned.
Can we check your balance? (It is my intention to say all this in a loving/respectful way. I know internet communication can be tricky.) What else takes up space in your brain?
Neb, are you feeling like you might miss out on tasks/quests/rewards? I think you and I both play enough that the slots are empty by the end of the day/week.
Or are you wishing you cared a little less about Hearthstone? Is it taking up too much space in your brain?
So has the ??? Alterac puzzle been solved and I missed it?
What will happen to the puzzle when the new expansion drops?
Great use of Dormant. Feels powerful, but fair.
Oh man, I didn't think about Cariel!

TBH, I've never bothered to check the math. I'll try to watch the buffs more closely next time.
Was your run before or after the latest hotfix?

I finished this one last night with Brightwing and the Nature gang. A friendly map with a Spirit Healer near the boss helped too.
Little baby Leroy isn't good for much yet, he's gonna have to do some pushups before he's ready for action!
What happens if you Abandon a normal task? Does it reroll or disappear forever?
Can you Abandon event tasks and move on to the next one? Or are these special and linear?
Carcinization (the evolution of a crab form) is a known phenomenon in Earth biology, so perhaps in Azeroth biology as well.
It is our choices, rather than our genetics, that truly matter. Yo ho ho, matey!

Oh no! That cute lil orca is about to be chomped!!
Buffing the lure, maybe with Bless, seems strong. Probably for the best that Priest does not have access to tools that give stealth.
Lots of great suggestions here.

Are we moving to a world where gardeners are held in high esteem?
Beautiful artwork too.

Bang! That's the one.
Sometimes after I end a call with my least favorite client, I find myself saying "the god... of nothing" out loud.
Ooh, I think I might need to go watch the cinematic (?) where Azshara threatens N'Zoth that without her he'll be
"The god
of Nothing."
