This might actually make the raptors playable. It's such an awkward card. Will definitely be fun to try whether or not it's viable.

The 4-mana Warlock card will never see play. Hellfire is simply a much better and more flexible card at the same cost, and Warlock has tons of other very good removal options including that new 1-mana Warlock card which is excellent.

Tamsin is just pure value, but is there a Shadow spell you need a third copy of? It's not a bad card, but especially with Highlander disappearing, I don't think it ever makes the cut unless there's a combo potential I'm not seeing.

The epic and legendary Paladin cards synergize very well with secrets. Decent cards all around, and I'm sure they will get played with for fun even if they don't end up being competitive.

Fluffy Holy Spell will see play. If you can hit two targets without losing too much tempo, it's worth it. Hit 3 or more on curve and it's a win-condition. Doesn't seem too hard with First Day of School and some other good early game cards.

I'm guessing this means that the unrevealed nerfs (Nitroboost Poison) will go live on March 23rd as well.

Two very solid cards and I have no idea if either is good enough to make the cut. Renowned Performer is the only class card with any synergy with Razorfen Beastmaster. The best neutral is.. Fishy Flyer? Nerubian Egg? Sneaky Delinquent? Loot Hoarder? There'd have to be a really good 3-4 mana deathrattle minion in the new set to make it work. Maybe it'll come into its own a few expansions down the line.

I think Primordial Protector is good enough to see play in the right deck. Very curious to see the full pool of 7, 8, 9 , and 10 cost minions once the full set is revealed. If there's a few low-stat duds at a certain cost it could make a huge difference in viability. Right now it would obviously fit in Survival of the Fittest/Y'Shaarj Druid.

So, how's that Quest Rogue revert looking now everyone? Again, if Crystal Core simply targeted board, hand, and deck instead of having a completely unique effect of a persistent aura then bouncing a Boar would revert it to a 1/1.

Undertaker Hunter with Unleash and Buzzard. Well, we'll find out I guess.

One of the best side effects of the Core Set is that adding a new class with the set rotation means they can add tons of new cards for the new class to make up for it not existing the previous year. Then, remove a bunch at the next cycle once it equals the other classes in expansion card count.

These are good points about Boar and Patches (and Bluegill Warrior). I think there are tools to make the quest easier to complete than ever before, plus better tools for draw overall, but the lack of Charge might genuinely keep the deck in check. I just remember being extremeley frustrated that silence effects and Aldor Peacekeeper didn't work on my opponents' minions or that Fire Fly generated a 1-mana 5/5. I maintain that the card is designed/broken/bugged in a way that's unhealthy for the game. Crystal Core should work like Survival of the Fittest. The persistent aura is bad.

For the downvotes I'm receiving, can any Rogue Quest defenders point to another card in Hearthstone that functions like Crystal Core with its persistent aura effect? Can anyone make an argument for why a card like this is healthy for the game? It's a zoo deck with a massive advantage over any zoo deck you could possibly construct in another class. My memory is hazy, but I'm pretty sure the only reason Caverns Below didn't dominate Wild in the past is because Naga Sea Witch was still 5-mana. This unnerf is a mistake, and I predict that it'll be changed again.

Caverns Below is one of the most poorly conceived cards of all time. A change I begged for was at least making it affect board, hand, and deck instead of this bizarre persistent aura. Stats are unable to be silenced or altered, plus bounced cards and generated cards retain the buff. It's illogical and horribly unfun to play against. Worst era of Hearthstone ever when it was dominant. I'm not familiar with the wild meta, but I could see this dominating. The card is so badly designed it's the only one I've ever wanted to see just straight-deleted from the game. A mistake then, a mistake now.

I liked this one a lot. Maybe I'm just lucky; Cho'gall only took me three tries. I died a bunch of other times along the way, and while I can see that some of the balance was janky, it's better than battles that are no more difficult than the Innkeeper tutorial. The final battle in particular was a well-crafted puzzle that took me 4-5 tries to get down just right. I was also totally unfamiliar with the story as it wasn't from WCIII or Frozen Throne. Great stuff; right direction.

I hate Twin Slice and Altruis so much. So happy they're leaving. Umberwing is one of those cards that never felt oppressive to play against, but probably accounted for a huge boost in DH winrate in the decks it was part of.

When Holy Light Control Paladin and Lightspawn/Lightsteed OTK Priest go meta, please dunk on me.

Just a great job OoC. I looked through all the cards myself and I missed a ton of these changes.

Generally I think these are fantastic changes with the exceptions of Holy Light and Lightspawn. Neither change makes the card more playable, and it seems like both could have been retired for something better. Not that all these cards are great, and they're keeping River Crocolisk for goodness sake, but it seems a miss to have given those cards attention and come up with that. But, to stay positive, they did a great job on the other 49.

Well, Mage is taking a big hit, especially all variants of Freeze Mage. Congratulations, we stopped Blizzard greed.

The Battlecry gives you the weapon. Nearly the same card. It's a buff all around unless you were under 10HP. It's much more playable.

Oh man, also just noticing the deletions now that I'm comparing it to my collection. Amani Beserker, Doom Sayer, Faerie Dragon, Knife Juggler, Sunfury Protector, Wild Pyromancer, Murloc Warleader, Hogger, Sunwalker, and so many more, all gone.  I'm loving this so much already even if I'm sad to see some cards go.

Just looked at the Neutral Cards. Things that jump out at me:

    1) Stonetusk Boar and Bluegill Warrior are now Rush minions, each with +1 attack.

    2) Nerubian Egg?"?!?! Noooooooooooo. Explosive Sheep?! Yeeeeeees! River Crocolisk????? Huh.

    3) 4-mana BGH. I like this.
