Are you saying Vile Feast is bad? Some of the best decks in current meta run 2-3 copies of it. Far from unexpected imo, still a solid card. I'm a lot more surprised about Elise.

Judging by the fact that Chip is a Targon card and the first three reveals were said to be related to the champions, Malphite will be put in Targon. And we're definitely getting Malphite now due to the trailer.

I was convinced that the two would surely be released at the same time as well but here we are.

As the official blog describes the three units as "each one an invaluable partner to the new champions coming in the expansion", it makes you wonder if Zilean will be about predicting after all as Clockwork Curator doesn't seem to have direct synergy with the mechanic. Or maybe it was just a thematic statement.

They should really stop making grindy achievements for cards whose effectiveness is strongly dependent on what your opponent does. This, so much this. While slamming down borderline-playable minions over and over again definitely feels stupid, the sort of "your opponent needs to do this for you to have any chance" is even more frustrating. I don't think I will do the sigil one just because 200 times??? WTF Blizz.

While I do like achievements in general, Blizzard is definitely doing them wrong if you ask me. There are a lot of "non-achievements" that require you to grind stuff just because all classes need to have achievement and the total xp earned from them needs to be same than last expansion. That's not how it should be done in my opinion; if there are not sensible achievements for a set of cards, then make none. Grinding does not equal achieving in my eyes.

Picked Fury of the North, Legion Marauder was an alternative but I don't play that archetype so there wouldn't have been much use for it.

I usually write the post during EU evening when the Americas matches are still ongoing; I could try to make the necessary edits in the morning but haven't wanted to commit to doing it every week.

Jarla's lineup for the week is Control Priest, Tempo/OTK DH, Control Warlock, and Silly Spell Mage aka Lunacy. He won his initial group with them so you won't be seeing him in action until Saturday.

And if Lab of Legends wasn't around when you last played you should totally give it a go. Not only is it super fun (at least Normal and Hard modes are, where you aren't brutally annihilated all the time), but it grants PvP bonus xp for the first three wins. Those bonuses are separate from the actual PvP bonuses, so you can get double the bonus xp by playing it.

Yup, just got packs in EU. Veeery slow if you ask me, but at least it worked.

I wonder if we have to wait for the full 6 weeks for the next two youtube packs :D

Blizzard loves doing balance patches on the weeks that Masters Tours happen so esports isn't the #1 thing on their mind, but ofc they can't make changes during the actual gameplay.
