Since you guys have full control of this site, I think it would be a fun idea to make separate page/portal for this not just a forum post. Much like what you guys did for Arena and Fan Creations.
If I've understood correctly whenever we discuss the topic, this is the plan. Or maybe because I also want it to be the plan I keep reading into it.
I also love your suggestion of user voting. However, it might have the issue of whether people vote because they can vote or if they actually play a ton of games in Standard/Wild and have a solid idea how a card performs in the format. But personally I think that steering the system away from one person's task for both upkeep reasons and to gain a wider perspective is definitely not a bad idea.
Blizzard isn't good at sharing information in advance, but if Season 1 is anything to go by, the games should begin with APAC at 2 AM PDT/5 AM EDT/11 AM CEST/6 PM KST. We'll have a survival guide post later this week as well, hopefully Blizzard has put up the stream links by then.
I have no personal experience of creating the events so I don't know what's going on, but you definitely don't have to have an established tavern to do it. Flux did a guide on how to create a private Fireside Gathering so if you haven't checked it out yet, you could try to look for some clues on what's the issue from there.
Yes, it's a team effort. Celestalon re-iterated that in a recent podcast. He used to be on the WoW team himself so he should be familiar with the lore as well.
Definitely looks like a strong one. All but guaranteed card draw on a decent-sized stick. Gives hope of more varied Druid archetypes instead of just different Spell builds.
Absolutely disgusting late game topdeck, allowing you to search answers for whatever situation. I already saw a theorycraft deck with this and Academic Espionage - that combo should be illegal!
Rogues will run two of these for sure. I'm interested to see if Pharaoh Cat will make the way or if there will be some changes in their Stealth/Secret packages in favor of the new cards.
I really like the art for some reason. And the card seems decent enough to see play at some point, be it right now or when the Dragons rotate out next April.
Since he's going to be part of the Final Design, I'd imagine his influence can be seen a bit earlier than that. My guess would be bigger impact in 2-3 sets and maybe even some singular card balances in the very next expansion. But that's just my personal guess, I have no idea how things actually go behind the scenes.
I guess mana cheating is a core part of Druid's identity but the amount of Legendaries with Mana tempering effects is getting pretty darn high in Wild. Not particularly a fan of that.
Definitely a nice addition to Big Demon Hunter, and a very interesting effect overall. I wonder why they went with very premium baseline stats considering the self-buffing effect, but I guess this is going to die to hard removal, get ignored, or just win the game on the spot regardless of the stats anyway.
If Consume Magic wasn't a card, there's a solid chance this would've seen a good amount of play. I still like it nevertheless, and if the meta becomes buff-heavy, Magehunter can definitely shine.
Silence might be back on the menu if Paladins populate the meta. With this and all sorts of Libram buffs there would be a lot of quality targets around.
I've seen it in some Control lists. The tempo Risky Skipper list definitely does not play it.
I'd daresay Athletic Studies is slightly better in the early game, but probably worse in late game due to the expectedly higher value of Discovering a Dragon.
With the risk of being horribly wrong, I don't think the card is as strong as a lot of people think it is. Yes there will be times when DHs throw your perfect answer back into your deck, but there will also be times when this gets sandwiched by higher-cost cards or the three cards offered were not important anyway. A 4-mana 4/3 is a rather clear tempo loss on the board, I find it hard to believe Tempo DH would run this.
Even with a "perfect opening" of multiple minions getting killed and this played on curve, it's still very underwhelming. I don't know why it was printed.

I cannot be the only one who's slightly annoyed with the spelling of the keyword, can I? Why not Spellshield instead of SpellShield?

Solid card that will definitely see play. Hopefully Soul Fragment decks turn out to be playable, it seems like a fun mechanic.

This looks like a very nice AoE. I hope Soul Fragments will be playable and they give rise to a midrangy control DH.
