I make no promises but based on the wording of the cards, Freezing Trap should trigger. If you'll get the minion in hand or if it dies before that, I'm uncertain (I'd even guess the latter).
I also noticed that, looks like the story of the Isles will progress with the game (which was quite expected due to the title of it). For those curious, the trailer in question can be found here.
Since I did a similar thread for the Spirit Blossom event I figured I'd do one now as well. Hopefully someone will find it useful.

I wholeheartedly agree. Skip the older videos though, Riot has been rewriting a lot of champion lore and most of the old ones aren't accurate anymore. I'm almost certain even Elise's lore above has had slight modifications quite recently.
As far as I remember, the rarities are locked in when buying a pack, but the cards themselves are created when the pack is opened, so yeah, it's a good thing to wait.
This seems like a really pointless thing for them to do. It requires using memory somewhere to store these rarities, sometimes for lots of packs for a significant length of time (e.g. for about a month with pre-order bundles), all the while there's a chance the data gets lost or corrupted. It surely takes much less CPU time to generate 5 rarities than to choose the cards to fill them, so I cannot think of any benefit to generating them at the time of purchase rather than at the time of opening.
Someone please tell me if I've missed something here, because as it stands this choice annoys my programmer's mind more than any bad card design issue.
I think this incident nearly four years ago was the thing that "confirmed" the rarities being determined upon purchase. It can be that they've changed something afterwards and it no longer works like that, but it doesn't affect the topic itself; you should save your packs.
My previous impression is the card pool from the packs are determined and locked at the time of acquisition.
What is certain that the rarities are determined upon acquiring the packs, and the exact contents when the packs are opened. Does it work with future sets is probably unconfirmed, but I'd expect you can get new expansion cards from it. At least I've been holding on to my Hunter pack in that hope (foolishly opened my Mage pack without even considering this possibility).
We do seem to have "word search" on the title as well in all cases so far, but you'll never know if we go wild with titles. Although there's always a small chance that we forget to include the tag...
They have changed things for sure. Whether it'll be suited for your purposes is hard to say. You can always try to collect hearts first and buy the pass later if you fear you won't be able to gather as many as you'd wish.
That's because one of the triggers in incorrectly set. Instead of Hippogryph, you'd need to pay a visit to a certain legendary with the same amount of combined stats. At least until Flux fixes it.
I don't think Blizzard has confirmed it yet but that's what I expect. If anything, they might use the earnings of the latest three Masters Tours for the first Season's promotion.
It's recreated from a poor quality image. We'll update it when better art is available.
EDIT: Updated, should look much better now.

I'm fast :) And also took it from the same Reddit thread, I'm still days away from reaching the quests myself (without additional grinding).

Unexpected victory, but I'll take it! Thanks to everyone who voted.
I guess I'll have to come up with a fun theme for next week, no pressure...
Good luck with the final day's hunt!

I wonder how new this is, pretty sure it's the first time I see it.
Don't forget that we also have a tag system for this: https://outof.cards/tag/word-search

It being a card is correct. You only need to stitch the clues together now. You've probably trained it if you played Brawls a month ago.

Same, took me possibly the longest out of the three.

Those are some big shoes to fill, especially for the announcement videos. Good luck with your future endeavors, Dave!
Couldn't agree more. It's unbelievable how many times DeadDraw has gotten so close but not quite there due to Blizzard's rules.

Something seems bugged with that for sure, we'll (= Flux will) try to fix that. At least you'll still keep the candy you earned.
