Filler card. Weaker Fungalmancer at the same cost.
I actually appreciate for them not having printed more Fungalmancer - which only becomes auto-included in any minions based decks until they get nerfed - remember a certain Corridor Creeper ? ^^
That's a lot of stats for 6 mana, but the problem is that it's 6 mana. Could be a decent inclusion in Evolve Shaman if that ever sees play again.
Evolve Shaman would be the only reason to run something like this, and even if, do we know what mana cost the tokens are at? If they are by default (6)s, it would be fine, but they may be (0) or (1) ... so ... not sold
Also Imprisoned Felmaw immediately attacks, which this here doesn't.
But unlike Felmaw, after 2 turn, this one doesn't have any summoning sickness after the rushed attack, it is really on board, ready to fight - as long as it was played turn 2, and triggered on t3 - which may be a bit optimistic
Cool design, and kinda like how it introduces this new ''unknown/exiled'' space for your card to go too, but ... is there a use for it? Is your card really ''safer'' with this banker?
Oh man, this ... brings back memory of Grand Tournament release. I was playing around with good old-unnerfed Dreadsteed and Baron Rivendare, testing the limits of swarming my own board - those were the days
Still think Whack-A-Gnoll Hammer is better. However this isn't bad. Discounts are always strong.
And they are not mutually exclusive ; you could run both - not that you should tho. On an semi-related note, with all those hammers, it feels like shaman really just wanted to become judges or auctioneers maybe
The fact that it lets you discover what you summon makes it bonkers, there's always a decent option even if you only play a few overload cards beforehand. Crazy pay-off after the quest.
Indeed, discovering + summoning it, right then and there gives it the wow-facto
I know right?! And the elemental package was already working pretty neatly, even without all that synergy to go along with. Elemental Shaman should be fun to play & powerful!
Tradeable & Tech'able
Spell Dmg +1 used to be already a big deal - now +2 is ''common'' - time changed

That was also my first thought ; but its also a bit win-more, as you need a board ready, alread
She takes the lion's share of the credit, too.

Mandatory lubricant for new mechanic - team 5 did their homework
"If you're a city guard, you have to tell me. Otherwise, it's entrapment."
''Hey Gul'Dan, tell us what a big hand is worth to you ? ''

#Doubt
That's the type of design that I usually rate way too high for how useful it'll end up being, but heck -tradition
That sums it up pretty much, yup
That's actually a fair comparison, and with a better synergy with a meaningful tribe
This seems to me like an inbetween pack-filling and mandatory questline material.
Leaves me skeptical, but hey - new demons and imps, so there's that

Good catch, before I read your comment, I was still just assuming that it was ... and well, it isn't as good if you have to dilute your list, indeeds
That's indeed a massive swing to remove and heal, and a very competitive cost too
