  • I totally agree with the Zephyrs, the Great's evaluation. My biggest issue with highlander decks (in wild) is that they all encourage similar strategies. It completely defeats the point of class identity, imo.

  • Druids have a spec called balance, which switches between being empowered by a full moon and a new moon. The new moon empowers all the astral damage balance druids do. This is represented as arcane damage in WoW. the full moon empowers all the natural damage the balance druid can do. it is literally called natural damage in-game.

This had to be written quickly and crappily because I am busy atm, but the spell schools for the solar and lunar eclipse are actually correct.

  • I have also had a buggy experience with the new achievements. I recently completed a warrior achievement that required you to play as a warrior, as a mage.

  • I find it fun. I am going to play it until FitB releases. I am probably going to play it when I am feeling competitive but do not feel like interacting with a complicated meta. I also appreciate how I can safely craft a golden card and know it will always be relevant, something that is not possible in any other format.

  • thank you

  • You have to get a few turns in before you concede. I believe it has been this way for a while.

  • I’m going to pass on the classic bundle but I plan on picking up the golden one when I get paid. I’ve opened up enough golden classic packs in the past to be able to hit the legendary in 10 packs.

edit: thanks for saving me some money

  • The only card back that I didn’t own is the Exodar one. It’s weird knowing that these returning card backs aren’t meant for me

  • This is a good answer. Only Demon Hunters have sigils, so I do not expect any other classs to get them.

  • Thanks for the advice. I will definitely consider it as Pen Flinger did seem like a weak inclusion to me as well.

  • I really hope they don't choose to make the collection of diamond cards from old sets be tied to legendaries. Nothing would be worse than seeing a cool diamond card you want, only for it to be locked behind a crappy card like Icehowl. I feel like a wild card feature would be better for these.

Edit: I need to not be half asleep when I write these. What I meant to say was that locking Diamond cards behind crappy legendaries like Icehowl would be a huge turn-off for collecting them. I think it is fine to lock them behind the collection going forward, but not for old wild sets.

This section of the forums is basically dead, so ...

I think this is a valid criticism. If you went to Steam to buy a multiplayer game, and all the reviews said there is no online you should consider that when making your purchase. The game might not last another year

The MtGA section of the forums is also pretty dead, and that game is far from dead. I think... Mythgard also has a very dedicated Discord community, so if someone has an issue, they'd just go there. Not sure how true that is for the other games.

Right now it's an odd period. Everyone is waiting for the last two codes to drop, but wait time seems to be pretty good for ranked, so I'd say the community is pretty active.

When I made my post, it had been months since the last activity. This remains the ONLY active thread in the past three months.

So yes, I do think that says something about the game, but I was more implying that a dead forum might not be the best place to get information or opinions about a given topic.

As for sinti's "helping keep it that way" ... please. If people wanted to post about Mythgard here, they'd do so, regardless of my snarky opinions.

I would like to actually apologize for posting my own reply. I had not noticed that I necro'd this thread until you made this statement.

  • I saw an article about the pre-release on Battle.net and attempted to open my packs early too. After googling my issue I found out that it starts on the Thirtieth. I have always opened my packs early but I do not remember the pre-release being this late. Could just be a selective bias, or whatever though.

  • I disagree with some of the list, but I have to admit I too share a hatred of Bomb Warrior. It feels awful knowing that there isn't anything I can do against it when playing a slow deck other than keeping my hand full.

  • Thank you! Trump talking about that was my inspiration for this deck!

    Feedback:

I wouldn't use Armor Vendor in a deck where you're trying to push damage it defeats the point and you'll end up being short 1-8 damage a lot more.

I would take out 1 Swamp Ooze. No one runs 2 of them in any deck.

I would also take out Mor'shan Watch Post it just seems too slow since it can't attack.

I would add in a Taelan Fordring

    Most Importantly :

You have no cards that summon silver hand recruits? Yet you have silver hand recruit synergy cards? Are you new to hearthstone?

This is a control deck. It isn't a midrange deck. It isn't an aggro deck. This deck won't win by pushing damage. It will win by outlasting your opponent until they do not have enough resources to handle your hero power. It is more beneficial to have answers than it is to have cards that summon more recruits. Because it is a control deck. It doesn't matter that Mor'Shan Watchpost can't attack because it will force opponents to trade. We want this to happen because it is a control deck.

  • I imagine their growth would be shown through solo content. Multiple different expansions of solo content.

  • I would like you to try and find a time when  the “lore” ever made sense in HS

  • I doubt they would make such uninspired spells for them, especially considering how there are already ranked spells that do similar things.
