In Odd Paladin, this could be used. But you would need to run Stand Against Darkness or something similar to make it really worth it. It is situational, but in the current standard meta, this in Pure Paladin could easily find a home with the cost of the librams.
I"m so glad that they made this 3 mana. If I am reading Corrupt correctly, having this in Odd Paladin will be debatable due to the need to cast higher level cards to active the Corrupt... so thankfully that shouldn't be too much of a pain in the ass
I got my Cap'n Valeera over the weekend playing a similar build. I liked using the Secret Passage package because so many cards in this deck are low cost, you're able to just blast through a lot of your deck, not to mention find the invoke cards quick as well.
I finally got my Alt Art for my Warlock hero and I couldn't be happier. BUT... much like other awesome things, I want more. So I've been grinding to get my other favorite class alt art heroes and I am finding the trial to be ridiculously tough.
SO my question comes to the forums to see what has everyone else done when you see the light at the end of the tunnel, like when you are around 950+ wins, and you start to feel like you cannot keep going? I am trying to kill off my Rogue wins and I have less than 15 left to go, but it honestly feels like I am getting encountered with every single possible counters to my decks.
This isn't a salt thread at all. I get the RNG of it all. I am just more conscious of it all right now as I just.... want... my... pirate... Valeera.
Follow up question on that as well, has anyone felt that same way when grinding out the last wins for your alt art?
I'm inclined to disagree due to it being a 7 mana Mind Control. As long as you can control the board a bit, which is what Control decks do, there shouldn't be an issue with grabbing your opponents stuff.
Another card that is leading us Control Players to like this set. In this heavy aggro meta, cards like this could spell the return of some control.

Ugh.... Corrupt is going to make things hopefully better for control players in this Aggro heavy meta

Just a plain old solid creature killer
This combined with Kael'thas Sunstrider is just begging for a nerf
This plus Kael'thas Sunstrider equals ROFLSTOMP
Really solid card
I'm just happy that there aren't a lot of neutral spell damage minions.
Flavor wise... not the best. Functional wise... WAY good. Especially if you have Kael'thas on the deck
Totally happy with low cost Druid draw cards.
Druid had gotten a lot of low cost draw cards lately and I gotta say, I'm pretty stoked about it.
I'm really super happy that the Discover cards for spell damage minions are not included in the DH sets...
These hunts are always fun

I'm en route to get my King Anduin, so any variances of decks to help me not solely play rez or highlander is great! I'm looking forward to this.

This makes me wonder if they are going to reset everyone's XP to 0 per class in an effort to level them up on this track.

The sheer potential of this card in control decks may help to shift the tide away from all the Aggro going on in the meta right now.
