That thing is just gross! Thankfully it's a Legendary and you can only have one in your deck. The idea that Shaman could potentially use this after pinging the Heart of Vir'naal means a really nasty swing turn. Then still having a mana left to Evolve in Wild.
Think about after Pally drops the Libram of Hope and then all they have to show for it is a Searing Totem. This card is one that I can expect to have the cost increased soon.
I played a similar meme deck for the lolz... I used 2 Sap as it does wonders against Paladin's buffed minions 1 Educated Elekk initially for an added Shadow but works great for other things, and Lorekeeper Polkelt because why not
Honestly, I would love to see expansions covering some of the more popular classic dungeons or battlegrounds.
I remember going through and playing Zul'Farrak over and over doing the zombie runs as well as sneaking into Alliance territory and going to help twinks get Van Cleef gear for 19 Warsong Gulch. These are some of my favorite times.
I get that there are hints here and there for dungeons in evergreen and even some legendaries based on these *cough cough Edwin VanCleef cough cough*. But an actual expansion based on one or even a couple of the old school dungeons would be fun.
I love playing Mage. It has been one of my staple classes since I played WoW. I'm SHOCKED that they went the route of Solarian Prime and Evocation instead of [Hearthstone Card (Sorcerer's Apprentice) Not Found]. That is the card that allowed cards like Evocation to be so abused and has been crucial to Exodia Mage builds. I'm not sure what they could do to that card to nerf it without totally killing it like they did with Mana Wyrm, but if Blizzard is trying to manage the source of the problem and not the symptom, then they kinda missed it with this one IMHO.
If you're going to go one turn kill, or even most of these minions only need one turn to be effective, why not try Jepetto Joybuzz? Seems like getting him on the board will enable to you grab two minions from your deck at a substantially discounted cost. And given that you're not going for board presence, helps to either thin your deck, or get the crucial items. Just a thought, I'd try it minus one Faceless Manipulator.
This is another perfect example of why I'd like to see options of seeing the full artwork of heroes. A perfect time for this would be the challenge screen just before you see which cards to toss back for your first hand.
I like what you have done with this deck. I too have an affinity to giants. I was playing with my Even Warlock build and tried to use Frost Giants. Unfortunately, it isn't as consistent as other giants.
Honestly, I am only remiss that I crafted Lorekeeper Polkelt, Sphere of Sapience, and 2 Tortollan Pilgrims yesterday to make the deck. I love combo decks, but even I think that deck is close to the bubonic plague. The turtle will see play with highlander and big mage, but that will be the end of combos with it.
As for Guardian Animals, 1 mana difference with the mana ramping Druid won't be as impactful I think. Yes, it makes it much more difficult to yank a couple of potentially buffed minions out of your deck and throw them into your opponent's minion wall. However, if they wanted to make this more viable, they would have kept it at (7) mana and made it pull (4) cost or lower minions.

I have tried so many times to get Burgle Rogue to work for me, and it just doesn't.
Gotta get in the Evocation before it's no longer of use in odd decks

I loathed this Tavern Brawl. I went 0-7 then finally someone quit in the first turn to give me my win.

I just did Rogue with almost everything deathrattle that summoned something else. That kept the lolz going.
