This makes me SOOOOOOOOOOO happy. I'm a casual player and having those requirements to get to each level felt incredibly difficult to attain.
Now, all that they need to do is make it easier to get the gold build up before a release in order to get packs. I would save up gold for a month or so and be able to "buy" 50+ packs. With this new rewards track, I'm still wondering how much of an impact this is going to have on that as well.
I"m glad that they are changing the requirements officially. My iPad Air had the "minimum requirements" for a while now, but I cannot play Hearthstone on it as the processor cannot keep up.
All of these nerfs are needed. Although I have to agree that Voracious Reader is now going to be a making appearances in Odd Paladin and maybe Odd DH. While DH has a lot of draw, it's rarely a bad thing to have more.
Lorekeeper Polkelt I can see that this is going to make a few combos a little more difficult to pull off, but still balanced.
C'Thun, the Shattered needed to be banned from this tavern brawl. Druids play that along with their armor builds and you cannot win. At all. The cards that you are presented with are just the spells from C'Thun.
I got the Play 50 Corrupt Cards quest and I did a Priest corrupt card deck solely for the purpose of fulfilling the quest and surprisingly, it did well against face hunter and DH. Died to pretty much everything else, but worth it to get the quest completed.
Has anyone else experienced the rewards not recognizing when you accomplish them recently? I don't know if this is tied to this roll out of the rewards track being reworked, but I find it's a pain to have to complete the quests again.
I'd really like to see them put out the availability of getting class card packs via gold. Because you are not able to get neutral or other class cards, I would like to think that they'd be willing to increase the cost of the packs to 150, but increase the chances of getting golden cards. I think that would be a welcomed change for the majority of players who like to stick to 1-3 basic classes.
What do you know? Blizzard realized that the rewards needed to be reworked. At least they are doing something to help the players instead of only their own pocket linings.
I hate to admit it, but I chose Bloodyface. What is stupid is that the only reason I don't like him is that his photos are always him showing the Emo attitude. It's petty. It's superficial. It's totally stupid. But it is my reason.
Anyone else tired of all the updates that are going lately? I swear, dive Brodie left I am noticing more and more issues with every release in both nerfs and updates because of connection issues and bugs.
I have been dropped from an unbelievable number of games in the past week and I can getting roped in my games because of reconnection. Has anyone else been experiencing this as well? What are you doing about it?
The version I am running, and got me to Diamond 3 so far, has -1 Blessing of Authority and +1 Day at the Faire. The additional +8/+8 is nice, but honestly, the deck is maintained by having a copious number of Silver Hand Recruits on deck to run at your opponent. So I roll with that.
I gotta admit, Tickatus is so good in Wild that you can't help but be drawn to making it work. And unlike Mill Rogue which had bad match-ups against aggro, you can slot in Tickatus+Yshaarj in a Control Warlock shell. Thanks for the lists, I'll try to play these decks.
I've been using it in pretty much all my Wild decks along with Deck of Chaos. While having Tickatus switched to 8 mana sucks, milling people with Warlock is just too hilarious.
Shocked/Not-Shocked to see what is and is not in the top items.
I am a little surprised at the lack of DMF cards in Pure Paladin though. Even in Libroom there is in the inclusion of a few of the DMF cards, I wonder it if is because the standing deck has such a solid win rate?
I don't understand the Deck of Chaos being at the bottom of this list as being in 1% of decks. Honestly, I love that card. I have put it in everything non-zoo in the past 72 hours.
In wild, honestly, getting that 3 mana 9/9 Voidlord makes people not happy. Not to mention the Khartut Defender becoming more of a hassle than it normally is. Even in the games where it was close to the last of my cards to be drawn, it wasn't a make or break for the decks... but when I drew it early, it was wonderful.
This way you can test the core of your concept for half the cost.
Tickatus can easily be slapped into a Renolock or Demonlock shell with only minor risk, while the old god needs additional support that risks to make the deck suboptimal.
Afterall, Brann Bronzebeard exists for 10 cards burns. Also, decks in Wild tend to draw way faster than 10 cards burn being a consistent wincon, making Y'shaarj redundant. Or you simply die before you can set it up.
Personally I dropped Tickatus but it was barely important in the few games I tried it. Its setup is slower than it seems on paper. So doubling it sounds like greedy overkill to me.
PS: burned cards CAN accelerate fatigue if cards are burned, but it never triggers fatigue damage. So you don't immediately kill with tickatus. At best you setup one fatigue tick on next turn. So in the meanwhile you still have to survive for several turns unless you close the game by other means. It's not Coldlight Milling. Subtle but crucial.
I ended up crafting both and I gotta say, that dropping the Tickatus corrupted and then doing it again when I play Y'Shaarj, the Defiler was great. Brann Bronzebeard, as always, barely made it a turn so I wasn't counting on him being on the board for anytime I drop it.
I did discover though that having 10 cards milled from highlander decks causes the opponent to concede REALLY quick. I do play 1-2 other corrupted cards, so I grab a few when I drop the old god, so it's not a one trick pony. Cascading Disaster is amazing with control, AND should you corrupt it and Plot Twist, it retains it's corrupted state... which is AMAZING
I want Tickatus so bad I can taste it. That, along with Y'Shaarj, the Defiler just smell like a great control warlock build.
If I open one of them, I could probably craft the other. Control Warlock decks are quite expensive though.
Anyone have an idea for Archwitch Willow yet? Opened her on SA launch and haven't used her once.
Control Lock has historically always been quite expensive to build. It is a solid deck that does wonderfully terrible things to your opponent, but it does take A LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT of dust to make it.

I have tried everything I can and I am not seeing the updates. Starting to be frustrated, but oh well

I swear I'm jinxed. I was able to run with this 6/10. But the second I publish it I get a wave of bad draws and I feel your pain.
Lorekeeper Polkelt is amazing at manipulating your deck... but with a deck like this where there are so many spells, running Yogg-Saron, Master of Fate is just too fun
Running Sayge, Seer of Darkmoon instead of Voracious Readers or Aluneth is good... I'm just shocked that this version isn't using any Duplicates since it's just so damned versatile
