Not sure how to evaluate the druid card. Looks like Embiggen on steroids but hella slow. This plus Embiggen plus the boatload of ramp druid has, may push Big Druid back in the meta.
I like the second card, it feels like a weaker but more flexible version of Magic Carpet. Will try it out in zoo decks.
First thought is I think this will find a home in priest and warlock, classes whose control style don't really create wide boards since this card hurts your side as well.
As others have mentioned, this could also find a home in a control-oriented libram pally as Libram of Justice activator.
I wonder how it will work with N'Zoth, the Corruptor, will it keep the reduced stats or will all copies return as 9/9? Problably return as 9/9, but there's only one way to now for sure. Can't wait to try it.
I assume each iteration is a separate minion in the res pool.
Say for example, this was killed 8 times in the board.
So when you drop N'Zoth, it summons a 9/9, 8/8, 7/7, ..., 1/1.
I'm all for more crowdfunding stuff to help prize pools. The Dota 2 Invitational has been doing that since its inception as far as I'm aware and has consistently pushed for the largest prize pools in Esports and generally, everybody loves them as both sides prosper out of it.
Been thinking of DOTA 2 too actually. Perplexes me why Blizzard doesn't follow. They even get to pocket half the profits. Let the fans support the players.
I also don't understand the cap. IIRC, we reached the cap 3 days after the release of the promo. So much lost potential. Hope the reason isn't solely greed.
I'm prolly just ignorant here but Why Doesn't Blizzard do More Crowdfunding Promos to Increase the Prize Pools of Tournaments?
By this mean, promos like the pack promo earlier this year where 50% of the income was used to increase the prize pool of Masters.
Why don't we have more of these? I'm thinking bigger prize pools would be better for all the players. For example, they could increase the consolation prize for players, they could increase the prizes from 3rd place below, etc.
I personally wouldn't mind buying more packs if they support the competitive side of HS.
Feast of Souls is just a good card being screwed by better cards. Notably, to use this properly you'd run a token deck, and token dhunters happens to suck a lot. It also competes badly with Skull of Gul'dan and is a conditional card unlike Spectral Sight. But if token ever gets a leg up, then this card will naturally get a second look.
I agree with this assessment.
I think when the set was released, they were eyeing three archetypes for DH: Aggro/Tempo, Token, and Big.
If token DH becomes a thing in the coming expansions, I see this card seeing more play. With more support, it will improve this card's consistency and viability.
Here's a useful extension to your options: leave until you get an urge to play again. Your account and collection aren't going to disappear, so stopping playing doesn't waste previous investment (even ignoring the sunk cost fallacy).
It may be that you are happy to never come back, when the sunk cost fallacy will tell you that is fine, or you do come back and nothing was lost anyway. Either way, taking a break from HS is not a commitment to leave forever, so you don't need to feel like it is.
This. Coming from experience.
I originally started playing heartstone ~2015 (after naxx and before blackrock). Then I stopped playing years later (after JtU, and before KotFT). I was bored and the game felt like a chore rather than what I enjoy. At the time, I honestly didn't feel bad of the money "lost". I like video games, so I just think of it like buying a AAA game then stopped playing it after getting bored with it. As others have said, you already got your money's worth of entertainment.
Then late last year (during the tombs of terror event), I returned to playing again. Sure, there was a learning curve again as I missed 2 rotations, but the game felt fresh and fun again.
So, taking a break isn't a bad thing. Play the game because you WANT to not because you HAVE to.
Both are interesting cards.

A very solid card.
A 4/2 with DS for 3 with an upside to re-activate shield with a cheap spell.
If I unpack this, I wanna try beast druid. It'll prolly suck but I want to try lol.
Realistically speaking though this card seems more suited for hunter:
Could also work with HL hunter as turn 10 , 16 dmg burst combo with Dinotamer Brann.
Or combo shenanigan with Beastmaster Leoroxx and King Krush.

Reminds me a bit like Deathwing, Mad Aspect but is more useful when you are ahead than behind.
Doesn't have the same removal power but leaves behind a hard to remove big body.
First thing comes to mind are OTK builds for both classes.
Maybe a burn spell shaman can become a thing. This card will offer a lot of burst.
I like this card, primarily cause it hurts priest lol.
Good tech card against Deathrattle too. The ultra sticky Rattlegore comes to mind.

Been using Arcane Tracker for the past few months, it's not bad, but their desktop version is much better.
Though as mobile app, this is expected.
I'm not a Rogue player but won't the nerf make Shadowsteps and Backstabs pulled of Gala cost 1 instead of 0?
Won't a better wording be something like "they cost at most (1)"?
Thanks this answered by question.
Didn't notice they updated the roadmap. This article also used the old roadmap, so didn't occur to me it was updated.
Good point. DH wasn't listed.
I'd agree its one of those.
I prolly just missed it, but what were the 2 locked features of Phase 1?
I can only speak from experience, but I started (manually) tracking my pack openings in a spreadsheet starting AoO.
From my results, I can say that the pity timer works (at least for epics and legendaries).
I agree with this assessment.

I wish there was a ticker showing the view time.
Kinda annoying not knowing your progress.
I feel bad for DeadDraw.
Must be agonizing to be that close but not get it.
On another note, France asserts its dominance in the European region. So many French GMs.
