I really enjoyed that they tried to have a continuous Narrative throughout the whole Year. It's cool to see all the different Characters interacting with each other and have these unique Scenarios (like described here in the Single Player Content). Really hope the Devs keep it that Way.
Also, I still can't believe they actually did it and made Reno a goddamn Dragon XD Like, didn't that start as some Meme on the Subreddit? I wonder how the Guy feels who came up with that!
I can't really think of any Card that I'll miss in Standard, except [Hearthstone Card (Mass Histeria) Not Found]. If you think Priest sucks rn, oooh boy, just wait till they lose their only viable Mid-Game AoE. Without that and [Hearthstone Card (Ziliax) Not Found] t5 will be Priest's official „Hero Power and Pass" Turn (Sandhoof Waterbearer would be practically the only real play they'll have, and that's not even that good).
Standard without [Hearthstone Card (Ziliax) Not Found]? But...But what else am I supposed to play on t5?!?
Regarding Whizbang the Wonderful, I'm calling it now: SN1P-SN4P is gonna take his Place in Boomsday Project and he will become Part of the Classic Set.
Sucks that some Legendaries didn't see any kind of play during their Time in Standard. Would've loved to make a Control-Priest with Chameleos or a Dragon-Hunter with Emeriss work.
Would really love it if the Devs let players somehow view the full Art of every Card. Like, going to the Collection Manager and simply clicking on the Card to see the entirety of the Pic instead of just a Close-Up.
I also like your approach to it. Artist would have to change how they approach the pieces in terms of composition and format (as far as I know rn they usually do whatever they want and Blizz just frames it), but that shouldn't be a big Deal. The Thing I'd change though would be the Unlocking as a whole. As much as I like the Art, playing a Card 1000 TIMES is just way too much. I think a simple on/off Option would be better. That Way every Card could have full Art.
The Art is imo one of the most appealing Things of any Card Game. Why Blizzard hasn't done anything with it really is honestly beyond me.
Rising the Dust you get from Commons and Rares alone could be a huge Deal. If you'd bump it up to 50% of the Cost (20 and 50), your average 40 Dust Pack becomes a 130 one.
But, as cool as getting more Dust would be, you, as a Designer, have to consider that Everyone will be able to get Cards for free more easily. More Dust would probably lead to more „necessary“ expensive Cards or less other free Stuff.
I hope that, if the Team does revamp the System, they'll find a way to keep everything else about the same.
I actually wonder what Impact this Card will have on Spells for the time it is in Standard. Like, remember when they put out [Hearthstone Card (N'zoth, the Corrupter) Not Found]? Most of the Deathrattles they released sucked while he was in Rotation to make sure he wouldn't be too powerful.
Yes, The Amazing Reno is not really like N'zoth and yeah, you can't print only bad Spells for about 2 Years, BUT I think it's safe to say that we're gonna see more Myra's Unstable Element-like Cards (usually good, but screw you hard when played wrong) during Reno's Time in Standard.
I'd love to see them revamp the Base Sets for Priest. Get rid of Inner Fire to experiment more with Health related Effects and give them a solid AoE or good Healing ( „What? You want useful Heals? In PRIEST? Well, BOOM!Radiance. There you go.").
I also hope they do something about the Exp-System. It just feels so outdated. HS has become so big that it should be OK for the System to reward more „free Stuff" like Gold, Dust or even whole Packs.
I wouldn't be so sure about it being cancerous nowadays. There's way more disruptive Cards now and even some more HP related tech Cards (for example the 2 new Cards we got in DoD). Also, don't forget that we're talking about Wild, the format you could easily be dead on t5.
... On a more serious note, Whizbang the Wonderful is probably gonna be hit the hardest by the Rotation. Playing mediocre Standard-Decks in Wild? Yeah... Would be like a Snowball in Hell.

Mech-Pally? Really? Haven't played much Standard past weeks but never encountered one them. Only the usual Embiggen-Druids and Highlander-Hunter-Netdecks.

Like most Priest-Mains, I hope that the Devs Overhaul the Base Sets of that Class. Imo, they should get rid of Inner Fire and give Priest more Cards that interact with Minion-Health.
About Leeroy Jenkins: As much as I hate Aggro/Burn, I don't think HoFing Leeroy would be healthy for the Game. There's a lot of Players that enjoy aggressive Decks. And since the removal of this Card would be pretty much a Death Sentence to Aggro, said Players would be frustrated/feel alienated.
Some Kid in Elementary Schools tried to bully me for my last name, so he came up with „Kötti". Didn't really bother me, so he repeated it as much as he could to get a Reaction, which then lead to others using that name (not to annoy me, they just thought thats my Nickname).
And now, more than 10 Years later, it feels weird if someone DOESN'T call me Kötti!
I really hope it does. Replacing one of the best Priest AoEs is tough though.

Crafting a Legendary because of a stupid Idea/it seems cool is always the first Thing I do during Xpac-Launch.
