I did not expect that they'd actually do it and HoF Leeroy. Yeah, he's pretty strong, but damn, Aggro is gonna suffer from that.Spellbreaker is also pretty surprising. Mind Control Tech is probably the 2nd most hated Card on that List, People wanted to see this Guy go for quite some Time now.
This, and the Pity-Timer, pretty much guarantee that you'll have a full Collection after getting a certain Amount of Packs. You still need to get a lot of them, but at least we can be sure now that there's a Cap!
Players have hoped/begged for this to happen since the Launch of the Game. Time and Time again the Devs told us that it's impossible, the Balancing would be too hard and so on. But now, they actually did it...
They gave Priest a Core Set that doesn't absolutely suck!
... oh, yeah. And they'll add a new Class, I guess
I think the best Solution would be to give future Charge-Cards certain Requirements to gain that Effect (like Dinotamer Brann). That Way you give the Players a Chance to better play around Burst without throwing away a whole Mechanic.
Like, maybe something like a Charge-Version of Mind Control Tech? If your Opponent has X Minions, me go Face?
They will most likely not, for example you can get Morgl even today for free
Completely forgot that you get him from that „Recruit a Friend"-Thing.
But, could still be possible though that they'll offer him in the Shop (and maybe rework the „Recruit a Friend"-Rewards?). I mean, Tyrande was a special Event Skin untill they made her available for Everyone. Same goes for Khadgar.
I wonder if there is a Reason they put alt Skins (Lunara, Medivh and Morgl) in this Picture. Maybe they wanna put them into the Shop after the Announcement?
... Or maybe they thouhgt „Lol, let's just take some Randos and make them team up!"
Edit: Am I seeing this wrong? Have they really turned into Stone?
Razakus-Priest is by far my favorite Deck, so hopefully they actually unnerf Raza the Chained! Since there are more HP-Tech Cards in the Game (Like the 2 from DoD) that could counter that Deck, it's not out the Realm of Possibility.
Reckless Experimenter is probably the most likely Card to get unnerfed because of that Change to Echo. Dr. Boom, Mad Genius could also be reverted, though I'm not sure if that's gonna help him seeing Play. 7 Mana: Gain 7 Armor isn't really a good Turn in Wild. But, you know, maybe...
1. Saying that most People complain about Decks „just because they don't like it" is a gross Simplification of what the Players think imo. Most Threads that I've seen that complain about Quest-Mage and Mechathunlock (not counting in the official Salt-Thread) say that these Decks are so frustrating to play against because there's not much you can do to interact with them.
2. The Winrates of these Decks do not (necessarily) represent how it feels to actually play against them. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Big Priest just at a 50-Something Winrate? And yet, it still managed to become one of the most despised Decks in History of Wild.

Folks complaining about OP decks in Wild are better off simply avoiding the format - to no one's surprise, the meta-game in eternal format CCGs is always far more degenerate than in limited formats.
So are these Players supposed to just sit there and accept the State of Wild as it is? You know that OP is short Overpowered, as in out of Control, right? Imagine pre-Nerf Barnes, Naga Sea Witch or Echo being accepted with the same attitude.

Folks that enjoy playing eternal formats enjoy playing degenerate shit.
I don't know where you got that Idea from, but I and probably most of the People that enjoy these kinds of Formats, play Wild because, well, that's where all the Cards are. And I can assure you that People want it to be balanced just as Standard is. I mean, the Fact that Posts, that talk about Changes in Wild, are always heavily commented on, shows that People don't like Degenerate Shit, no Matter the Format.
I admit that there's no 100% exact Way of measuring how a Playerbase feels about something. That's especially true for Wild, since the Amount of Players is much smaller and therefore the Data/Information you can get.
And because of that, I do think that „a dozen Threads complaining about something" are a Way of indicating a Problem or at least help to understand the Situation. It gives the Devs something to look deeper into and maybe find out what causes this Frustration.
Kind of a let down tbh. They did show that they wanna give Wild a bit more Attention (returning Packs, Nerfs to Echo). And now they're saying they don't have any Changes to it in Mind? Really? I mean, you could just look at Forum Threads and clearly see that People have an Issue with Decks like Quest-Mage. Yeah, there are a lot of Players that are just salty and wanna vent, but you can't deny that it often feels like you can't do anything when you're facing these Decks. I seriously hope the Devs change their Minds on this Topic when the next Xpac is released.
Regarding new Format: Rotating Sets sounds interesting. But you really need to be careful with which Sets you'll combine. A lot of Cards are harmless, untill you put them in the right Enviroment.
I've already played some Games with new old Raza! Having the Ping cost 0 again feels amazing.
Razakus is by far my favourite Deck, especially the Control Type.
I wonder what the Replacements will be
Fingers crossed for Whizbang the Wonderful!
Rejoice, my fellow Priests! The Day has finally come!
Can you, please, give me a „GREETINGS!"
PEW PEW, BITCHES!
That's a huge Change!

Wait, does that mean Even DH will never exist? Like, Genn Greymane is absolutely useless in this Class, right?
Also, now that I think about it... What will the upgraded HP be? 1 Mana gain 2 Attack could be pretty Aggro, especially in a Baku Deck.
That really came out of Nowhere!

Well, I wasn't prepared for that one!
I'm voting for Micro Mummy.
But, c'mon Man, not nominating Bronze Explorer? I mean, look at this adorable little Guy! Big smile, great Attitude and he always comes prepared!

Bruh, what about dis Ideah:
People post Pictures of Cards and others name 'em... But with funny made up Names
Thank God they're finally announcing the Announcement of the Announcement!
Thx! :)

I'm pretty sure by now they'll talk about Changes when they also announce the next Year/Xpac. Maybe there'll be a Video or so on Thursday.
