Yup, you'll get get Core Set cards through leveling up. Level 1-10 of a class will give you class specific cards, while all other levels after that will give you neutrals.
I wouldn't be surprised if they'd redesign (or at least rearrange) some aspects of the UI with the launch of Mercenaries, though I don't think that they'd change a whole lot. Most likely I'd say would be a change to the icon size in the modes menu, and the layout (maybe 2 by 2?) with Mercs simply being added to it.
Solo Adventures should stay where it is, since, well, it has a lot of content to offer. Tavern Brawl on the other hand, I kinda agree that it could be moved from the "main page" into modes maybe. But the question then would be: What could replace it?
I guess what they mean is that there's gonna be some deckbuilding, but it's not gonna be the focus. What's apparently more important is how your team and their abilities synergize with each other.
It's always awesome to see that there's an actual story behind artwork, whether it be in game or in real life. It shows that there's at least someone who puts care and thought into it.
Almost everyone I've seen talking about it thinks it's gonna be Barrens. There's also a couple of people wondering why there's a Horde symbol at the end, theorizing that we could get some HordevAlliance stuff.
The Tavern Pass has been working out for me so far. Throughout an expansion cycle, I usually open somewhere between 50-60 packs (about 20-30 of them at the start), with about 2k saved up for the next one as my goal. Up to this point, I opened about 80 packs (starting with 25) and i already have 1k gold with almost 1 month till the next expansion.
I spent most of my time playing the new format, Duels. That mode still needs some work, but you can get a fairly high winrate very consistently.
I can see Mage being top tier. Like, every time i pick it, i just put every card that says "elemental" or "secret" on it into my deck, and I always end up at at least 8 wins somehow.
Don't want to sound rude, but that's a stupid, naive idea. I mean, you do know that something like this can easily be misused? Just report it to Blizz and they'll take care of it, no need for a Witchhunt.
Quote From Fedrion
I get that preemptive denial is a bad thing, but a lot of the times a person that harass anyone for no motive but saltiness or personal problems IRL, keeps on harassing non stop for long periods of time. And yeah, they could be good with their friends, good to a lot of people, but at the end of the day, being good to everyone, and then bully a person just for the sake of it, yeah, THAT's a hard no for me.

It's not illegal for people to be a dick online, and it's not your job to police them.
I wonder what tribes will get supported. Hoping for Elemental Shaman!

It's a reference to an old WoW quest that became a meme

Fuck yeah!!!!!!!!!!
I honestly think that the new frames are an improvement. Still not what I'd call perfect, but better.
But, no matter what you think looks better, you have to admit: their card text needs all the space it can get.

Don't know if you'd imagine something like this, but that's the closest thing I could find:
Yup, there's also HearthS'mores, and I think Love Is in the Air is supposed to be edible?
Oh shit, he's back! (maybe)

Gamers! Rise Up!
sorry...
You're welcome! :)
I wanna play Priest, just to see if it really was as terrible back then as people always say.

In the post it says that the Core Cards will be swapped with the one's from the next rotation. I assume that means that they'll get replaced.
