Aria yeah, I can see some rebalancing done. Question though: Is the dormant condition good?

Minions count, so it seems fine. One well-timed Flamestrike and you're back in the game. '20' might be too much, perhaps, but what're you gonna do: drop it to 17 or 18 or some less-elegant number? No lol.

Feedback! Took longer than I planned 'cause I had to leave the house in the middle of typing this up:

    Show Spoiler

Ekkeh - I think the Frost Wolves are too slow to see much play, unfortunately, although I do like it more than Pit Trap.

Cursed Parrot - I think the autocast of all other Scythes is very interesting, creating that fantasy of reaping your opponents like a true monster. I wonder if giving everyone access to destruction effects is a good idea, but as you noted the overall combo is quite expensive. All-in-all, I like it.

Cg8889 - Poisonous on an AoE is very dangerous, especially for a class that traditionally lacks board clears. Even with the condition that you have to play it then bounce it (thus wasting the effort/mana), I still think it's too good.

bigcums - As Demon noted you have the rarity gems backwards. And as he also said, this is tremendously difficult to pull off, to the point where I don't think anyone would bother. How would the Warlock copy it enough times? I like the underlying idea; I just think it needs some tuning.

BasilAnguis - Nice reference to Cloak & Dagger, if that was intentional :D Giving permanent Stealth is a scary idea, so I approve of the changes you made all-around. I think you're good-to-go!

KANSAS - I think the card is fine, if a little plain. One downside I see of including it in an Enrage/self-harm deck is that you can/would readily clear out your own Goblin Guards with Whirlwind, Awaken! and the like. Might not be a big issue, though.

DestroyerR - Your card has way too many tokens, unfortunately.

anchorm4n - I like it. The one thing I would consider is knocking the Queen down to 8-mana, so you can combo Feast of Souls with the Naga Warriors on turn-10. Would be a great late-game hand refill. Just a thought; I like it as-is already.

R - The card should say "Whenever this would receive…" which might in turn make the card too wordy - there's an unspoken rule that Hearthstone cards cannot exceed four lines of text. Disregarding that for the moment, I feel like the card might be too abusive with the right clearing cards; namely Defile.

    Edit: Shit I forgot Demonxz95 >_> Sorry!

    Show Spoiler

Crystal Phoenix - One concern I have is-that you can create a paradox wherein you play the Phoenix, use the Temporal Loop on the same turn, and now you've done/learned various things without having spent the Loop card (because the Phoenix is back in your hand). You could do this "for free" every time you wanted to check for Secrets or whatever.

Slaith - I like the transformation effect, but every Deathrattle seems like too much, if you get to benefit from opposing Deathrattles. The 4/7/7 meme is real, though.

Aria - Remove the final Deathrattle and I think you've got something. Yeah I know that removes the phoenix "rising from the ashes" bit, but the card is just too powerful otherwise. If you want to leave it as a 7/7/7, it's that or take a hammer to the Spell Damage.

All-in-all, I think I like Slaith the most.

I incorporated everyone's feedback into my Yrel, creating something almost completely different to remove the Immunity:

At the start of the game she shuffles 3 copies of Libram of Courage into your deck, giving you access to card draw the archetype desperately needs. In addition - because every Libram has two effects on it, more-or-less - Yrel's courage grows with each use, making her stronger. Build up a big threat and watch her drop the hammer!

I reduced the cost of Primal Fury to 3 as has been suggested, plus I came up with a different card altogether; I wasn't feeling the others:

    Stuff's looking good honestly.

Although, according to Stargazer Luna and Altruis the Outcast, leftmost and rightmost should be written as "left-most" or "right-most". Druid is also not supposed to have good AoE, so I'm not sure if Kranak is too much of a bend or a break in Druid's class parameters.

"Whoops." I'll fix the card before submitting, if I end up with that one. Good catch :)

anchorm4n - I think "Lion Tamer" is simple and effective. Beyond that, I like the card: a Savannah Highmane isn't going to light the world on fire, so who cares if he comes down a turn earlier with a 2/2 attached? Might make the card see some "use".

bananenparty - As anchorm4n noted, this card does not have enough power behind it to justify giving your opponent a handful of Fireballs. I can understand trying to mill your opponent's good cards by filling their hand, but Fireball is not the answer: they'll just kill you with them.

BloodMefist - I like Set the Table! the most, and this is coming from someone who hates Discardlock lol. I find the Priestess kind of boring, and the Slacker is not worth the +1 Health.

grumpymonk - I like Brigitte Abbendis: it's something different versus the various "Add (X) to your hand" effects floating around in this competition. And who wouldn't want to see a return of Mal'Ganis?

Cursed Parrot - I like the idea behind Cause of the Light, but a Legendary Quest all by itself in Ashes of Outland? One that flies in the face of all other Quests that come before? It's very weird. That being said, I like Mistress of Fate: I've been trying to play Plot Twist Warlock myself, and I could definitely use more Plot Twists lol.

bigcums - I like the idea, but it's not Ragnaros THE Lightlord, it's just Ragnaros, Lightlord. Also I wonder if 8 Health restored is too easy, considering Amber Watcher does that in a single card. 8-meme aside, I think if you increase the requirement and drop the "the" as appropriate, you've got a potential winner.

Pokeniner - I loved Fel Cannon back in the day for whatever reason, so any excuse to bring it back is a good one :) I think it's sort of weird for Nezzie to be a Mech - she looks mostly fleshy in the art - but I understand why you had to do that, gameplay-wise.

Cg8889 - I honestly feel like the Outcast is tacked on because you have to have it; it creates a feeling where there's too much going on with this 3/2/2 Rare. I'm not sure how to fix this feeling :(

KANSAS - I'm amused that the Dentist has made a comeback, although adding Counterfeit Coin to it does feel like you're cheating a little. Why would the text need to be anything beyond the Coin itself, except because you needed a collectible card?

CovenantKevlar - I like it: it's an amusing "egg" minion. I say go for it haha

grayghost39 - The first option would probably just say "Give a minion +2/+2 and Taunt"; or…." It would be faster and easier to say that, so in that sense you are kind of stretching it a little. You have Gift of the Wild in the second option, so you're ultimately fine if you remove the first card-reference.

Nirast - I like the card as-is, being a Neutral. It's like Blood of The Ancient One, but for a much-more-popular character. One of the "Pros" you left off is the potential to work on the Ragnaros over multiple turns; putting down one on turn-4 and another on turn-5, for example. All-in-all, I think it's fine.

Xarkkal - I would drop the Rush off Trapper Keeper. I think there's too much going on with the card, and I'd rather keep the card as a 3/3/2.

Demonxz95 - I'm not sure what the intended archetype Toxin Alchemist is supposed to be used in; she feels like a card without a home. Something with a lot of Combo effects, obviously, but do you plan to use those Deadly Poisons on anything other than your basic 1/2 knife? I don't know, but then again I don't play the Rogue so maybe I just don't see the whole picture.

I assume if there's only one enemy minion, they would get double-Swiped. And before you ask, I just made Kranak up.

I'm going to start on feedback now. Sorry I didn't get to it yesterday.

    Thoughts?

I really like this one...if Blizzard was replaced with something else. It's weird for a Shaman spell to shuffle a Mage spell into one's deck. How about Rain of Toads?

I'll have more feedback for others later today, I think. Just popped in real quick while I'm waiting for something.

Here is my first idea for the competition. It may be a bit complicated and it has multiple tokens so I may not submit it.

I like the idea of making a dark bargain - I like the Grimy Goons one in particular - but when I think of "contracts" I think of Unidentified Contract first. Might just be me, but it could be a problem.

Yeah, we generally just get them from Google, artstation, etc. I imagine the only "person" that makes their own art for cards is Blizzard themselves lel

I'm trying to add to the Libram archetype by creating the "ultimate" end-game Libram, but I'm not sold on it right now. The archetype lacks an exit-strategy besides simply outlasting one's opponent, and the creation of a strong Immune minion might help: it creates a ticking-clock against certain decks that cannot deal with the minion. I made Libram of Courage cost 15 so you actually had to invest in the other Libram-reducers, so people could not run Yrel by herself and get away with it. Might not be the best idea; let me know what you think.

Do we need to explain what the token does in the original card?

If you want to. The provided example of Elise doesn't actually do that, so I would say you're fine without.

I stopped using the Dinosaur Detective avatar (for now), but this is still an applicable iteration of me:

I've already rescinded the idea of me ever winning one of these weeks.

I had to laugh when I saw this, because I could tell you were running away with this prompt :) Congratulations.

I just have two ideas at the moment. Similar situation as last time: the Druid card is from my custom expansion, and the Paladin card is a rough draft.  Edit: Going through my old cards, I found Volcanic Guardian. It's the next step up in the chain, creating Igneous Elementals that then create Flame Elementals.

Your card cannot pick randomly… […]

Does that mean that discovering from a Pool limited by name (e. G. Breaths, Explorers, Librams) is fine?

No: we want you to produce one/a few specific cards directly. Discovering a Libram is much like discovering a random Beast, even if the pool is significantly smaller.

Feel like my last couple of entries have been too out there so decided to go simpler this time around and want more Libram support printed.

    This unfortunately is not eligible.

From the rules: "Your card cannot pick randomly from a subset of cards - it must be specific"

Then shouldn't Imprisoned Gan'arg also not be an example since it doesn't specifically state Fiery War Axe?

Get why my example doesn't work cause Libram isn't specific enough; just wanting to figure out what can and cannot work. Thanks!

I was inclined to side with you, but Shadows says it's fine: "3/2 Axe" is close enough of a description to get the idea across. Gan'arg does in fact produce a FWA, and not a similar token.

That card wouldn't work for this theme, because the Libram is not specified. It would be fine if the Libram was specific and not random.

    Ninja'd.

    Hmm...I need

I can afford it...but that's a lot of dust. But it's for my favorite class. But it's mostly *only* for the class. But it's been a good deck for a long time...Gah! I can never decide if I should pull the trigger or not >_<

I think Bronze Highkeeper is very clever, swapping stats to become a big Taunt after laying the smackdown on whomever pops the shield.

Conversely, I really dislike spells that have no basic function (referring to Power of the Dragonflame, Crystal Surge, Bites the Dust, etc.). Spells you have to build around can still be randomly generated, and if they are created outside of their intended situation they are completely useless. That's why To My Side! at least provides a single Animal Companion, and Apexis Blast can deal damage without having to summon the minion. With the spells above, however, if you have no Dragons to discard, they are a total waste of space :( It would feel bad in Mage in particular, a class that can readily generate these spells by chance.

Also, "Sapphire" has two Ps. I was going to say something in the original thread, but became distracted and forgot about it.
