While they're at it, why not open up the Trial By Felfire Adventure a day early too! ...No? Okay :(

    Feedback!

    Show Spoiler

Fedrion - As Demon noted, it should say "Passive Hero Power" on the tokens. I see that you fixed it in your Submission. Good. Other than that, it looks complete. I think "losing" your Hero Power and spending 3-mana on a do-nothing spell is a fine enough price for some additional damage.

CursedParrot - You're missing the words "Hero Power" in bold on the Hero Power. The card looks fine, otherwise. I agree with your choice to make it minions-only: it makes things less "elegant" than a simple "Spell Damage affects your Hero Power" effect, but it cuts off problem cases before they pop up.

GoliathTheDwarf - You could say "This minion's Attack is always equal to your total Spell Damage." and leave off the 'on the board' part. That might make the wording less awkward; you lose the Spell Damage from your opponent's side, but that's a very niche scenario as it is.

Demonxz95 - It's a Rager; what more can be said? I wonder if Tarecgosa can still work if you just make it Spell Damage = 3, or make it a class card. Rapid Fire can't be abused if the Hunter can't access the Legendary.

Cg8889 - I don't like the ability to attack their hand and deck with the "wherever they are" condition. Granted the combo is hard to pull off, but it's still obliterating your opponent's deck and their ability to mount a proper defense. I would remove it, and up the damage (if necessary).

KANSAS - The effect seems fine, if a little bland. I think the cost is good, as well, as while you're not getting 2/2 Kobold to go with it, you are making the effect permanent. I will note that the art, to me, is quite obviously a monk from Diablo III, which doesn't really jive with the Shaman.

Elfensilver - I like it, and I like it being in Rastakhan's Rumble; it's like Kragwa's team is trying to get an edge on their opponents by cheating lol. Also the spell works well with Zentimo. I would not change it to be based on how much Spell Damage you have, because that's a lot of effort for the payoff.

BasilAnguis - As others have noted Cleric of Scales already exists, so the name would need to be changed (and possibly the art as well, now that you've lost the name). If she said "Your other minions" I think she would be a lot more balanced, as you could at least target her to remove the effect.

Me0203 - Lightning Aspect should be an Elemental, and the Lightning Totem should be…well, a Totem lol (as in, you're missing the minion type tag on the bottom). Totems don't have any Attack to start out with, so a 1/6 statline is very strange. All-in-all, I like Lightning Aspect the most, because you could theoretically chain Overloading damage spells for a cascade effect.

anchorm4n - I want to say that Shard Mage is too good, but I can't really articulate why I think that. Maybe it's fine *shrugs*

Pokeniner - Akrika needs to have a number in the Battlecry in order to properly improve it via Spell Damage. So like "Destroy 1 random enemy minion…" That being said I think the flavor of it is weird: Mages remove threats via damage, generally, and not straight-up destruction effects.

DestroyerR - I don't like Isiset or Anzu, but I do like Foxtrotter. Bouncing minions is a core part of the Rogue identity, so why not benefit from it in a different way?

grumpymonk - I like Riptide a lot. I think the 1-mana version is the most appealing, but probably because it's too good at 1-mana lol.

BloodMefist - I like Cyanigosa the most, because it's doing something different with Spell Damage. That being said, she should probably have some SD of her own, so she's not entirely useless when generated via Azure Explorer or what-have-you (bad example, because Azure Explorer has SD, but you get my point).

MenacingBagel - I like the (Placeholder Cat) the most, because it's an interesting effect. Flavored right, the Legendary draws in the energy of the spell and turns it into Spell Damage. You could then facilitate its own bonus by spamming Area of Effect spells like Hellfire.

Xarkkal - I think Thalyssra is weird, and Arcane Brilliance is boring. But Mana Droplet is so cute! I like it.

I changed my cards based on feedback, so thank you for that :)

    • I made Enraged Moonkin slightly cheaper, but I think that's as far as I can go. Darkmire Moonkin is quite expensive, and this is that plus an additional upside (I made him cost 6 for a reason lol :P). Both existing Moonkins have Spell Damage +2, so I'm not reducing the bonus.
    • Essence Leecher is now a Warlock card, as some have suggested. I am also using grumpymonk's wording; thank you for the suggestion.

I'll start writing up some return feedback.

I have two ideas: one that I printed for my custom expansion, and a rough draft I made up just now:

    • All Moonkins have Spell Damage +2, so mine does as well. It also gives your hero +2 Attack.
    • "Essence Drainer" is a rubbish name, and the effect might not be immediately obvious. If you have Spell Damage +1, Arcane Missiles would deal 4 and heal you 1; Greater Arcane Missiles would deal 12 and heal you 3, for another example. If you have more Spell Damage, you'll heal for more on top of the additional damage you deal. If anyone can phrase it better, I would be appreciative.
    • Essence Leecher is an alternative phrasing for the effect.

You have less than 24 hours left to submit your card! Get those ideas in before it's too late.

I like the usage of "Phoenix" as your required X; I don't believe anyone has gone that route yet, so kudos to you there. That said I agree with KANSAS - it's too expensive. Also, unlike the Druid or the Shaman, the Mage doesn't have any good way to flood the board with minions, meaning they must do so manually. That's a lot of setup for this payoff.

I really don't like the idea of him hexing himself. Make it two other random minions and it would be great!

Wouldn't that make him too OP then? Or would he be situational enough since he's a legendary and you shouldn't have minions on your side of the board...

I think you could get away with it. Blizzard could always nerf the card later lol

For the Violet Spellshielder I figured it would be better if it worked as a Battlecry from the last turn, that way you wouldn't have to incorporate playing the Spellshielder into the turn you deal excess damage. The Crimson Spellzerker and the Desert Plaguebringer both provide a more interesting payoff than Armor, so I think they might be more interesting designs.

    • By adding the Battlecry, I think Violet Spellshielder's complexity has reached a zenith. Its condition is so specific; I honestly prefer the aura, despite how difficult it might be to combo. Also, "last turn" spell-usage has become a Shaman thing, so being Neutral is starting to feel weird to me.
    • Of the three presented, I like Crimson Spellzerker the most. Flavor-wise she seems to grow in power from the excess energy you're flinging around.
    • I like Desert Plaguebringer's flavor, but I'm not a fan of the card's effect because you're taking the Locusts gameplay away from the Hunter in the set it was introduced. You could correct that by making it a Hunter card, except the Hunter hasn't gotten a lot of damaging spells lately.

I really only play this one deck:

I enjoy Frostbiting people, stunlocking their board while I clear it via spells or Challenger units. You can win games that you frankly shouldn't, stalling for time until your board is big enough and a leveled-up Ashe locks everyone down.

I'm on the verge of crafting Miss Fortune, to pair with my Sejuani. I'm also waiting for August so I can play with my beloved Leona.

I tried to play some Gwent in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, but I couldn't get into it. Decided to skip all of the sidequests related to the card game, which screwed me when I came into a situation where I had to play it >_> Got crushed and lost 40% of my gold.

Xavius, Nightmare Lord is the Prime legendary that DH never got, and is meant to be a key piece in Demon decks for board clears since it can preserve your board if you build it right.

I like this card a lot: it's a good "callback" to the current Xavius, while still being unique enough to stand out on its own. It would obviously go in a Demon-focused Demon Hunter deck, or even in a theoretical Control DH that doesn't yet exist. Mass-transform is a very powerful effect, though; I'm wondering if Xavius Prime should cost more, but maybe it's fine.

Thank you to everyone who has provided me feedback so far; apologies for not reciprocating sooner! Anyway, let's go:

    Show Spoiler

Cg8889 - Mur-lox is busted, as Sinti has noted, with the Mech OTK pretty easy to set off. You could theoretically remove the Mech ability and still get away with the card functioning for Murlocs.

bigcums - I like Light Burst the most, turning healing into another board clear for the Paladin. You don't need the first "All" in the text, though.

anchorm4n - Treants are not technically a tribe/minion type, so that could be why they don't have one :P That being said, I think 5-mana is fine; it might even be too weak at that point. Does anyone even use Demonwrath anymore?

KANSAS - Goblin Dentist is weird: paying 7-mana for a 2/4 that doesn't do much to the board is terrible, but the six Coins could swing things significantly. You could always spam all six Coins to get another medium-sized play in the same turn; might be a lot of tempo. I have no idea what deck you would use the Dentist in, though, but that could be my own fault for not understanding the Rogue well.

CursedParrot - I don't like the idea of giving Armor to your opponent; that's weird. I would stick with the version on the left, although it is still rather complicated. Maybe bump it up to an Epic?

MenacingBagel - I like Mr. Chu: he's especially painful against opponents who want to draw a lot of cards. Kind of like a tech card in that sense, but he can function on his own as well.

BloodMefist - Terrorguard Devastator seems like a (slightly) lesser version of Natalie Seline, which is both a good and bad thing. I feel like you're stepping on her toes a bit, and you get to run two of them. I doubt people will hold it against you, though; I might be the only one who cares. I like Corpse Explosion, being a repeatable Volcanic Potion; we haven't seen a Priest card like that since Excavated Evil, IIRC.

meisterz39 - lol "Trample". I like it. I think you can get away with the spell costing less, especially considering it's a Legendary and its usage is very specific.

MrRhapsody - The flavor is much better with Abusive Mistress, so I'd say "fuck it" and go with her, but if it bothers you then maybe don't do that lol. I like the card, regardless.

TheHoax91 - I really like Felo'melorn: it requires setup, and it has solid flavor for anyone who knows WoW. You don't need the comma, though.

Valor1204 - Hey, welcome to the website :D We love to see new people participating in the card design competitions. I think it's fine if it bounces multiple times, since the third minion in the chain would be your own, and it would be difficult to bounce it to a fourth minion without everyone being low Health. To be honest, it might be too weak: Defile and Demonwrath achieve a similar outcome but cheaper and simpler.

DestroyerR - I think the effect is too narrow for a "destroy the enemy hero" effect, and too reliant on the correct language. It just simply wouldn't work for a global game.

Pokeniner - Your minion is going to die, and it has a psuedo-Rush effect, so in that sense it's kind of like casting a spell that says "Deal 4 damage to a random enemy minion and any excess to the other enemy minions." Is that fine for 3-mana? I would say so if it was a class minion, but maybe not for a Neutral. I could go either way and be fine.

grumpymonk - I like Keeper Remulos, if only because "maximum" is a more unique usage of the letter X when compared to other peoples' cards. I think 12 Mana Crystals could be very interesting gameplay-wise, although it also would undermine the nerf to Aviana lol.

Demonxz95 - As I said before, I like Felfire Fury; I can see it being a real card. It might not be exciting enough to be a winner, though :/

I like that there is a new Hero Skin for Demon Hunter already.  I'm remiss though that there aren't any Forsaken Hero skins.  Honestly, I'd take a Forsaken Warlock or Rogue all day, everyday over this new Hero Skin.

One day we might see Calia Menethil, the sister of Arthas and an undead Priest. The characters are there; it's just a matter of picking one.

Also, Sylvanas is technically a Forsaken (or at least was their leader), so there is one already :P

So, just curious... did whomever picked this week's theme just recently go through a break-up and are stuck thinking about their ex? Do they need someone to talk to? I'm here to listen if you need an ear to vent to.

I think it's more simple than that: Tox has an X in his profile name. The prompt name was just a joke we came up with to "explain" what we're doing.

A while back you posted something about data mining a Black Temple thing.  You hear anything about that coming along?

That should be this upcoming solo-Adventure, or at least the Challenges. The patch notes stated that you would fight against the likes of Supremus and Mother Shahraz, which IIRC are Black Temple bosses.

I had the same thing happen to me, only in Freljord: went to open the L23-champion capsule for a second Sejuani, and instead got a champion wildcard. I wanted Sejuani, but now I'm debating whether or not to keep it for someone else.

As for the Fizz vs MF debate, I choose MF. I plan to create an MF deck at some point, as well.

I don't know what my recent obsession with Rogue cards has been about, but I have two ideas currently:

The Plague Doctor's Toxins are the same as from Xaril, Poisoned Mind. Dual Wielding, conversely, is very straight-forward, and fits within the subset of cards like Thistle Tea where you create copies of what you draw.
