How is removing the demon tag "obliterating" this card?
The combo would be still possible with 6 mana on turn 6 or 5 with the coin but not earlier and it would be way less consistent to get the combo until then. The deck would be still playable but much weaker.
I am happy to see this deck leaving Wild (even I had much success with it).
The banning of a card is interesting - but "lazy" in my opinion. I think it should be enough to take away the demon tag so the card can`t be pulled with Sense Demons and can`t be "ramped" with Demonic Studies. I think this way the deck would be weakend enough to don`t be relevant in Wild anymore but the change wouldn`t be relevant for Standard.
I just hope that banning a card will be not a new trend for balancing Wild, so the format gets even less new cards.
"And Wild fans say Blizzard never gives them any nerfs."
What a BS! Where can I downvote this insulting bias?
Who ever said Blizz NEVER gives Wild nerfs? Nobody said that. The complains are rightfully about overtuned decks which need a nerf and it takes far too long for Blizz to do something for Wild.
I am shocked how a mod can mock a part of the community just because he doesn`t care for this format. Seeing something like this again may cause me to leave this site...
EDIT: Never mind, screw it, I am out of here. Such an behavior is intolerable from an admin, because there isn`t even a way to punish the person on the top - beside "leaving the town". Yeah come one downvote me, I don`t care anymore, have fun! Love you.
Just change Hysteria that it only can be cast on enemy minions.
No. The combo (in wild) also includes Shrinkmeister to change the tiller's attack to 0 so it attacks infinitely without killing anything. The problem here is clearly the immunity mechanic!
But then the combo needs one piece and 2 mana more. Maybe this is enough so the deck is not viable enough anymore but still "playable". And nice side effect: Another op control spell got a bit nerfed.
Damn, this is not the answer I wanted to hear for wild. They could easily nerf the outright broken decks that have a way to high winrate. (Secret mage, raza priest and darkglare warlock). I don't see a problem with those nerfs.
Dean is saying wild is meant to be broken in order for players to be able to play their old decks, not act as a standard mode with more cards where they'd prioritize balance.
We see, what Dean is saying but what he is saying is BS. If they really want to make Wild "a place for old decks" they should revert ALL changes that cards got which are Wild only now. But they don`t do that which proofs for me that his "argument" is just a false excuse.
It would be sad if they would be outright honest and say "Sorry guys, Wild don`t make enough money for us to give us a reason to care more about this mode and give it regulary balance updates". But at least it wold be honest!
"The card or deck in question has to be unfun for most of the population."
The Wild community is crying for changes to Reno Priest, Darkglarelock and Secret Mage for months. What else does it need?
And how want Blizz to evaluate, what "most of the population" think is "unfun"?
This is how I image Blizz thinks:
"Oh about 20% of the meta is Priest? So a lot of players seem to like these decks so they are not "unfun". No need to change something about Priest."
(No, I am not really think this is how Blizz thinks, this was sarcastic...)
I think the "unfun for most of the population" is a stupid argument. "Fun" is way to subjective criteria. In my opinion Blizz should start to work with people who use "objective data" (no data is "100% objective" I know) like VS and when the data shows that a class is about 20% (or even more) of the meta they should change something! Looking at the last VS report Mage + Priest are nearly 40% of the current meta. Thats not "balanced"! EDIT: And not fun!
Just compare it to Knife Vendor to see how strong this new control vendor is. Knife Vendor has terrible base stats for a 4 drop and Armor Vendor has premium stats for a 1 drop.
Luckysoul Hoarder looks really strong for me. I can`t really understand, why Blizz is nerfing Soul DH and then pushes the deck again a few month later. I have no problem with the deck, but I am still surprised.
Nitroboost Poison should have potential in Odd and Kingsbane Rogue. Looks good for me.
Yes, it was a joke. I marked it with the winking smiley at the end. Too bad so many user can`t see the difference. ^^
I think HS has overall moved in the right direction (not in every aspect, but "in total") and I am excited what the devs are planing for this year. :)
I hope they extend their habit to make more balance changes to Wild too. The only major problem I have with HS at the moment is the lack of care for Wild.

Stealer of Souls allready broke Wild again. Your analysis is not up to date!
SoS-Warlock can OTK you even with 6 mana. Healing is not necessary in this deck. Just survive with AOEs until you have 6 mana.

Nuff said.
Nerfs confirmed! (kappa)

Were there some angry chinese again that I missed? o_O
Beside the disappointment about Wild:
"Community feedback on wanting faster animations has lead to more considerations on what they're working on."
This is something that makes me happy. :)
HS is way to slow (animations and turn timers) and every information about a potential "speed up" are good news for me.

Super strong early removal tool for Odd Warri. Will see play for sure.
OP!

The effect should be pretty similar to Ramming Speed. (Sometimes besster sometimes worse.)
What do you think?

*looks at Reno Priest in Wild*
Ok...
But when one thing is certain in the world: Say something against control and you get downvoted in a HS forum. ^^
Control, control, control... I hope there will be some non control cards too. :/
I see Amor Vendor in Odd Warrior and maybe an alternative to Mistress of mixtures. Very strong!

No time to balance Wild. They need to pump out more game modes, which are costly to enter, but nobody plays.
I will mark the day Blizz realize it can make money with Wild too, if they would push the format more.
