It's a bit different than Reno. Definitely worse. End of turn is much worse than right the heck now, since you can't bust through taunts for lethal. It going face also makes it very unreliable for sniping one big minion, which is how I use Reno 80% of the time.
I would say repeatable Fireball to the face, but your opponent can deal with a 7-drop. If they can't, you were winning anyway. Even cut down to 5 mana with Raging Felscreamer, it's too slow for an aggro deck. Like, are you really running a 4/4/4 with no immediate effect in aggro? Probably not. You're definitely not going to run enough medium to big demons to make Felscreamer worth it. No aggro deck would ever play a 7 mana 6/7 that doesn't win the game.
People are saying Demon Hunters are being given aggro tools, but they're so much slower than what Hunter and even Warlock pump out. I see Demon Hunter as a midrange class with the cards presented. This is a dream midrange drop. It's flexible, it can go face or play board control. It's a threat on board. That's exactly what midrange wants. Same with Imprisoned Antaen.
This would be more playable at 9 mana. I have the feeling they bumped it to 10 for the novelty (Hunter's first 10 mana spell), but that really hampers how useful it is.
I think Sacrificial Pact will be an okay card in this meta. It depends on how many demons are good. It's a tech card. There's no guarantee your opponent will be running demons, and if they aren't, you have a dead card in your deck. I don't think any of the revealed demons look meta-breaking in any way. Like, at best you might snipe a Battlefiend (as probably the most playable demon they've revealed so far).
Besides, 0 mana destroy a bad 12/12 Legendary isn't much better than 2 mana destroy a bad 12/12 Legendary, which is what Shadow Word: Death is going to be. If you play a stat stick, it'll get hard removed. It's just that the 0 mana one is far more specific.
I could be wrong. Maybe Imprisoned Antaen is just that good, and there's enough other demons around for it to be reliable. I definitely wouldn't bite the bullet right away, though. If it's an issue, it can be nerfed. It's far better to wait and see.
I would however highly recommend running SacPac in the first few weeks of the expansion. There will be demons everywhere while the meta settles, and you might even catch a few Hunters unaware when they drop Frenzied Felwing.
This card is not as bad as people say. Don't think of it as a 2-mana 3/5 Rush, think of it as a 0-mana 3/5 Rush. The turn it awakens, you can play a 4 drop alongside it for a major tempo swing. It's kinda like a Sidequest, where you're paying a small surcharge for a free effect later. 3/5 is big enough to threaten basically any 2 drop, and lots of 3 drops. That might stop your opponent from establishing their board for fear of free removal.
All that said, I don't think this card is spectacular. You need to play it on exactly turn 2. Still, it might see some use in a slower midrange Highlander-type deck.
We're too far away from April Fools Day, and the actual content will be announced tomorrow anyway. Besides, none of the cards are funny AND all the art looks official.
An April Fools joke would be a Bard class or something. Or 4 mana 7/7s for every class. Something injokey that nobody would actually want.
It's a Firelands Portal that always gives you a Salty Dog though. Given that Firelands Portal isn't all that overpowered, a consistently bad version for cheaper isn't game-breaking.
Pretty strong on paper, but without self damaging tools it doesn't seem that great.
Why is it a demon though? None of the other Illidari have a demon tag
It isn't self-damage, it's attack based. "After this minion is attacked". That certainly makes it worse, but it's an interesting new mechanic at least.
Also, I already replied this on the article comments but I'll restate it in a more visible spot. She's a Demon because she's in Metamorphosis, which is a DH ability that turns the user into a demon temporarily. There's a separate version for each spec - Havoc has it as a DPS stim and grows wings while using it. Vengeance has it as a survivability tool and grows spikes. This is a Vengeance DH using Metamorphosis.
EDIT: For context, this was a reply to somebody complaining that they were adding an anti-Warlock class with lots of demon destruction tools, obviously having read the class name and none of the cards. The comment seems to have been deleted.
She's specifically in Vengeance Metamorphosis (Meta being a Demon Hunter ability that lets you turn into a demon to gain bonuses). Havoc Meta gives you wings, Vengeance Meta covers you in spikes. That's why.
We don't know if this is a fake Twinspell or not. Second Slice could easily be 1 mana. A 0 man spell that generates a 0 mana spell sounds like a bit much.
Either that or Auctioneer is going bye bye for limiting design space.
What a waste of Supremus. Not even a Legendary, literally a garbage neutral common.

It duplicates buffs. So if you BoK it, it'll transform a Silver Hand Recruit into a 7/7.

It says "random enemies", not "random enemy minions".

Archspore Msshi'fn is Silverback Family Reunion.
Not to spoil the fun, but I don't think this will work with Umbra. The Battlecry will destroy her.
Stand Against Darkness is feeling extra SAD today.

Demon destruction tools? Huh?

More new card predicts!
Hunter spell that deals 2 damage to all enemy minions.
Druid Choose One that summons either two 1/5 Taunts or two 1/2 Poisonouses.
Paladin 5/3 Lifesteal weapon.
A 3/6 Mage Elemental that Freezes... and has Lifesteal!

They should just buff Savagery. I don't think this card is *that* powerful; it's more Savagery is useless trash.
I'm hoping the Priest revamp is just the beginning, and they're focusing on redoing the entire Basic and Classic set this year.
I reserve judgement until we see all of their cards, but there's absolutely no other Control support revealed thus far.
Lord knows I'll try to make a Control DH work regardless. 5 mana Flamestrike? Hell yeah.
I love Ur'zul. They're probably my favourite creatures added in Legion. I always love seeing new WoW monsters getting representation.
