Deathwing? He's the father of Onyxia, Nefarian, and Wrathion, but generally only cares about Onyxia. He answers by clearing the board, and leaves a 12/12 and no other options in your hand for the final push.
I believe they could have given him something like: "Lifesteal: Deal 2 damage to a minion". That way it would provide board control and sustain without moving it away from a more control oriented playstyle.
Galakrond's hero power can't be targeted since Invoke can't be a targeted effect (otherwise it gets weird with Time Rip).
Definitely The Binding of Isaac. I'm still on the Repentance hype train, year-long delays or not!
Heroes of the Storm is a close second.
EDIT: I just had a Lost run where I got Brimstone and Megablast. Then Krampus sniped me with his corner laser. The Binding of Isaac is no longer my favourite game.
It was run in Even Shaman, but not for the same reason as Mogu. It was just played as a Zoo card, whereas Mogu was essentially a disgusting board control + highroll potential.
Right for the wrong reasons, at least on lines 1, 2 and 5.
Dead man's hand is a Poker term, referring to a hand with two black aces and two black eights (black, hence the colour of Rogue) and any fifth card. It comes from folk hero Bill Hickok, who was killed during a game of Poker with that hand. The Hearthstone card is an obtuse reference to that, with a more direct Poker joke in the flavour text.
Before anyone gets too far off base, this requires some real-life trivia knowledge. If it ends up still being massively obscure, I can narrow down the possibilities.
Unless we see some Silver Hand support in this set, this card's far too weak.
Nice to see Twinspell making a reappearance though.
Is it Leyline Manipulator?
It could also be Master's Call. Tracking seems to fit better, though.

What minion uses gonorrhea as a weapon? Hmm...

Daring Fire-Eater?
Is it Jan'alai, the Dragonhawk?

Crowd Roaster almost fits.
I’m much more stylish than my kin, I'm not sure if that fits.
I wield that which sears the skin, It breaths fire.
the crowd cheers when I fight, I don't know if cheer is the right word, but it is a RR card and crowds cheer during that set.
my deck never took flight Dragon decks didn't work in RR meta, and even now Crowd Roaster doesn't see play. Plus, flight pun.
I've been playing a tonne of Highlander Dragon Mage. Luna's Pocket Galaxy isn't half bad when you've multiple ways to cast it for 0 mana.

But still right. Your turn!
It is not a Rogue card.
No, but close.
Given that it's been a whole day with no guesses, I'll give two hints.
1. It's a spell.
2. Lines 1, 2, and 5 are about real life. 3, 4, and 6 are about Hearthstone.
It's not Weasel Tunneler either.

No.
I am two pairs and an unknown
Not the class, but the colour of Rogue
My effect has nothing to do with my art
I never end if you let me start
Ask my holder, the man shot dead
Playing me doesn't get you ahead
Is it Fierce Monkey?
