Same thoughts here, this new runestones BS is the really scary stuff. In the near future they will probably link this new currency to the other game modes as well and that will just further devalue our gold stashes.
So the original goalpost was 500 wins, then 1000. Is Team 5 incrementing (1500) or doubling (2000) with the next goalpost. Feels like many of the achievements are doubling (do 30/60/90 damage with X card), so I think we might be looking at 2000.
I have 3 classes above 1500 already, Rogue, Mage, and Paladin. Paladin is at 1905 - somehow I didn't notice that I was a Paladin main? Not sure how I feel about that.
You are probably right, although the last example you used is not doubling but incremental instead 😇
They have done both in the past, so either can happen. Even not changing anything could also be an outcome, because it would mean adding more free cosmetics. Giving out points while the previous milestones did not is not really an incentive and thus seems illogical. Perhaps it might finally be diamond hero portrait borders? We will see what happens, soon™.
By the way Nebuchadnezzar... are you still missing that achivements you post some month ago?
As you can see down below, I have completed all of the gameplay achievements which include the previously mentioned ones. Most of the other achievement categories are also quite close to becoming 100% completed, except for game modes because I do not really play Arena, Battlegrounds nor Duels at all.
By the way, I hope the new milestone will be set to 1500. If it becomes 2000 instead, I might get spooked and I will probably abandon the mission. To reach 2000 wins seems too overwhelming, even for a highly engaged player like me.
It is actually reasonably doable to complete the bugged One of the Classic Blunders though it does require a bit of special setup as a workaround. Only advisable for the hardcore achievement hunters like myself out there, otherwise just wait patiently for the bugfix.
Currently, there is no simple way to trigger this achievement in constructed, because nobody is playing Warrior and thus you will not encounter any Suspicious Pirates. However, you can give this pirate to the opponent using Theotar, the Mad Duke and pray that it gets played eventually. The same can be done for Suspicious Alchemist and Suspicious Usher, but these can be encountered sometimes normally.
In my case, my opponent indeed played the given Suspicious Pirate and even equipped the secretly chosen weapon in the same turn. There was no way I would pick the chosen weapon, lol. Such a joyous feeling to finally complete this bugged achievement using a bit of ingenuity.
It has been awhile since my last update. I am still 710 wins away to have all 10 classes at 1500 or more wins. No easy task because the meta is currently not favoring most of my remaining classes left to complete.
It would be very nice to achieve this feat before the upcoming introduction of the Death Knight class with the next expansion which is kinda sorta unofficially confirmed by a reliable source.
Surely this time they will add another total wins milestone/tier to each class. Last time this happened was when the Demon Hunter class got introduced, if I remember correctly.
I just hit level 101 and completed the cosmetic part of the rewards track.
My mission now is to get 1500 wins with the remaining 5 classes for which I still need 710 wins in total. I would very much like to achieve this before the upcoming Death Knight class gets introduced with the next expansion.
Anyways, how you doing? 😉
EDIT: Off topic, that runestones BS is really scaring the crap out of me. Over time, it likely will devalue the existing gold currency and make HS cost even more real money. Worrying times 😬
Same here, I would normally "watch" the first four hours and close the stream right afterwards because the packs were received almost instantly. Today however, no packs to be seen yet after 5+ hours now. Strange.
I reached level 88 and just completed all of the new Murder at Castle Nathria achievements.
The last achievement I needed to do was the bugged One of the Classic Blunders and requires a bit of special setup as a workaround. Currently, there is no simple way to trigger this achievement in constructed, because nobody is playing Warrior and thus you will not encounter any Suspicious Pirates. However, you can give this pirate to the opponent using Theotar, the Mad Duke and pray that it gets played eventually. What to play next? The mini-set is a long way away still. The C'Thun special event is a nice little distraction though.
Nice, though technically your version is now capable of triggering the achievement progression 20 times per match after having added the 2 Youthful Brewmasters. You might want to add/update that information too 😅
To complete An Imp-ressive Feat quicker, I would suggest to run 2 Youthful Brewmasters in the regular aggro build. You do not need to run all of those defensive cards plus having to set them up. This version is also capable of getting that same 12 procs on the achievement whilst maintaining a high winrate. Just trade more often instead of going face all the time.
Adding Zola the Gorgon would increase the total to 16 procs per game, but that is just overkill and not very likely to happen.
I have completed the Primordial Soup achievement very swiftly in Wild using an even smaller Naga package plus all of the cheapest transform/evolve spells. Since the combo is quite cheap to pull off, usually by turn 4 or 5 you can create a very wide board of beefy minions and scam your way to winning a few games along the way.
In that same sense/logic, but reversed… achievement hunters like myself should probably do the grindy Hunter and Warlock achievements now before the nerf hammer strikes and win a few more games while it lasts 😉
Hello? Hello? Hello! We are now 10 days into the new Murder at Castle Nathria expansion and I wonder how we are progressing so far. I suppose it is my turn once again to create this wonderful thread for sharing our latest experiences on the rewards track. @Alleria, thanks for keeping this little tradition of ours alive with the previous RT thread. I hope you all have had a prosperous start so far!
Since I had collected the highest rewarding XP quests before the current track started, I had a rocket start on day 1. As always, I bought the tavern pass and I opened 250+ packs after which I am still missing Ara'lon at this moment. This is pretty annoying since he is one of the better legendaries and very useful to complete the "Wait, They're Not Plants?" achievement. I hope to find him soon in the upcoming free packs, because I do not want to spend the arcane dust.
Anyways, I am currently sitting at level 69 😄 and I have completed 85% of the new expansion XP achievements. I will hit level 70 later today and finally get my hands on that sweet 20% XP boost again.
How about you? What is your current RT level? How did the expansion launch treat you? Share as much as you like ^_^
EDIT: The standard pack at level 70 was one of my best packs ever; 1 epic + 2 legendaries including the missing Ara'lon, w00t!
Same here, probably activated too soon because these usually appear in chains. Hopefully this does not bug out and stops the chain from resuming/continuing.
EDIT: I just read somewhere else this is a single legendary quest which will last 7 days. One SINGLE free pack this time, I guess inflation has also found it's way into Hearthstone.
I though I remembered when you said you have a ridiculous amount of gold sitting, enough to get you packs to complete the next set. I don't really understand the needs to buy the bundle anymore. Although, I don't have anything to do with how you spent your money. I'm just simply confused as to why?
Simple, I like the warrior hero portrait and I do not like to change things up during the year, which probably means I will buy the preorder mega bundle for the third expansion as well. However, I do notice that the window between purchase and expansion launch date is getting smaller and smaller. This time around I bought the preorder just 48 hours before launch. In the long past, I would buy the preorder bundle almost immediately when announced.
If I still play Hearthstone next year, I should really make better use of my ingame currency because my stockpile of arcane dust also keeps growing. I really understand your thought process (or curiosity), because I am struggling more and more to justify this purchase. I already succeeded to stop buying both preorders, so that was a nice improvement compared to last year.
In contrast to last week, the 2 packs were immediately received. Job, well done!
They already mentioned that there will be no way to earn runestones in game, which sucks of course.

2 packs have been delivered, finally.

No problem, I am always glad to help out fellow achievement hunters.

I think running 4x Dire Frenzy is "a bit too much" lol 😂
Should probably have been 2x Revive Pet instead, to get even more Stonebound Gargons in play.
Anyways, thanks for this deck. I completed the achievement in a swift breeze.
