Welcome, fellow achievement hunter.
Ever since the introduction of the rewards track, each expansion has always brought us a handful of achievements to complete in order to gain more rewards: while some of them are relatively easy to complete, some others may take some time or a proper set up. In case you're wondering what's the best way to gain all that sweet sweet XP locked behind Murder at Castle Nathria's achievements, do not fret, as we have the answer you're looking for!
In this guide we'll focus our attention on the Castle Nathria Warlock achievements and provide at least one way to complete each of them so that you'll be able to get closer to the end of your reward track.
Disclaimer: as always, all expansion achievements can be completed in Ranked Standard, Ranked Wild, Arena, Casual & Heroic Duels and Classic - Casual Standard, Casual Wild and Tavern Brawl will not count towards your hunt! Moreover, we'll always take Ranked Standard as the default game format for our strategies: if we happen to have some strategies or particular interactions belonging to other modes to highlight, we'll be sure to specify it.
Here are all the achievements we're going to complete together:
- An Imp-ressive Feat - Summon 60/120/200 Imps with Imp King Rafaam.
- It Takes Two To Tango - Summon 50 Shadows with Shadow Waltz.
- ReIMPforcements - Draw 7 cards with one Impending Catastrophe.
- Let the Bodies Hit the Board - Summon 3/5 Legendary minions with Habeas Corpses.

Castle Nathria Warlock Achievements Overview
A rather intriguing set of achievements for Warlock:
- An Imp-ressive Feat asks you to play the top-end card of Warlock's new fashion.
- Same goes for ReIMPforcements, although you can complete it with a specific deck in no time.
- It Takes Two To Tango revolves around just one card, but support from other expansions should make it easier to complete.
Edit: guide updated with the achievement from the Maw and Disorder Mini-Set.
How to Complete the "An Imp-ressive Feat" Warlock Achievement
- Requirement: Summon 60/120/200 Imps with Imp King Rafaam.
- Speed Rating: 3/5.
- XP Points Rewarded: 100, 100 and 500 XP
- Related Achievements:
- Warlock's ReIMPforcements - you're already running an Imp-heavy deck, so chances are you'll come across a situation where you have 6 Imps on your side of the board.
- Neutral's Long Live the King
Considering that Imp King Rafaam summons 4 Imps at time, it will take you 50 Rafaam Battlecries to complete An Imp-ressive Feat, which is not that imp-ossible to achieve, so we're okay with that. In order to get there, we suggest you to play a regular Imp/Zoo Warlock.
- Although it's a 6 mana card, keeping Imp King Rafaam is often times a correct move.
However, if you're in a hurry and want to complete this achievement as soon as possible, doesn't matter what it takes, then we have something for you.
- This deck is quite defensive, as you don't want to go for your opponent's throat as much as with the list above.
- Use Runed Mithril Rod to discount at least two among Imp King Rafaam, Brann Bronzebeard and Zola the Gorgon.
- You can use Taelan Fordring to tutor Rafaam.
- Impending Catastrophe is an excellent Rod catalyst.
- When you're ready, go Imp King Rafaam into Brann Bronzebeard into Zola the Gorgon on Rafaam.
- Rafaam doesn't necessarily need to be Infused, as its base form will resurrect 4 minions as well.
- This combo will allow you to get access to 3 copies of Rafaam in a single game, granting you up to 12 progression points per match.
How to Complete the "It Takes Two To Tango" Warlock Achievement
- Requirement: Summon 50 Shadows with Shadow Waltz.
- Speed Rating: 4/5.
- XP Points Rewarded: 200 XP
- Related Achievements:
- Neutral's Stop! Infuse Time!
- Neutral's Need a Map?
This achievement obviously revolves around Shadow Waltz shenanigans. In order to speed things up as much as possible, we're going to use a Shadow-heavy Warlock deck, with cheap removals and lots of card draw. If you summon two Shadows with each Shadow Waltz cast, it will take you only 25 triggers to get there.
- With Shadow Waltz being the most expensive Shadow spell in your deck, Shadowborn will always discount it.
- With discounted Shadow Waltz, combining it with Tamsin Roame for extra Waltzes will be easier.
- If you pay attention to what you play, Lady Darkvein can summon additional Shadows.
- Queen Azshara's Ring of Tides can turn into a 1-Cost Shadow Waltz for an even bigger Tamsin Roame swing turn.
- Wild format note: if you limit Shadow Waltz to be the only spell you play in a turn, then Archmage Vargoth can be of help!
How to Complete the "ReIMPforcements" Warlock Achievement
- Requirement: Draw 7 cards with one Impending Catastrophe.
- Speed Rating: 5/5.
- XP Points Rewarded: 200 XP
- Related Achievements:
- Warlock's An Imp-ressive Feat
- Neutral's Long Live the King
The easiest Warlock achievement. If Impending Catastrophe draws 1 card by itself and you need to draw 7 in total, that means that you need to cast that spell while controlling at least 6 Imps. If you've played some ladder in the first few days of the new expansion, you'll know that such feat is quite easy to accomplish, and with more than just one combination of cards available.
- Wild format note: Mad Summoner on an empty board into Impending Catastrophe is a 2 card achievement completer.
How to Complete the "Let the Bodies Hit the Board" Warlock Achievement
- Requirement: Summon 3/5 Legendary minions with Habeas Corpses.
- Speed Rating: 4/5
- XP Points Rewared: 200 and 200 XP
- Related Achievements:
- Neutral's Long Live the King
- Neutral's Sylvanas Did Nothing Wrong
One of the easiest achievements of the entire mini-set: if you build your deck so that it contains lots Legendary minions (cheap would be preferable), completing Let the Bodies Hit the Board will be a piece of cake.
- Hullbreaker acts as a tutor for Habeas Corpses and other useful spells.
- Have some Legendary minions die.
- Play Tamsin Roame and cast Habeas Corpses.
- Tamsin will add a second Corpses to your hand, for two procs in total.
- This deck contains many bad Legendaries just because they're free: almost everyone should have a better choice, so we advise you to include the best Legendaries you've got.

Comments
To complete An Imp-ressive Feat quicker, I would suggest to run 2 Youthful Brewmasters in the regular aggro build. You do not need to run all of those defensive cards plus having to set them up. This version is also capable of getting that same 12 procs on the achievement whilst maintaining a high winrate. Just trade more often instead of going face all the time.
Adding Zola the Gorgon would increase the total to 16 procs per game, but that is just overkill and not very likely to happen.
Added the Brewmasters - thanks for the tip!
Nice, though technically your version is now capable of triggering the achievement progression 20 times per match after having added the 2 Youthful Brewmasters. You might want to add/update that information too 😅
