So you can get the most out of your first month playing the game.
Tip 1 - Week 1 Rewards
The only thing you need to know here is that you get two copies of Ash, two copies of Zed, two copies of elise and jinx for free therefore you are heavily encouraged to craft other champions than these because you'll naturally get your 3rd copy in weekly vaults, and region rewards.
Tip 2 - Region Rewards
At first you are going to want to level each region to 12 using the 1.5 xp boost. Then you want to stick to 1 region and level it to 23 which is when you unlock your last champion capsule. Doing this you should be able to have every region leveled up half way, and 3 regions level to max in a month.
Tip 3 - Optimizing XP Gains Vs Time
Your average day will involve finishing your quests you have piled up, getting your pvp xp boosts for 1 or 2 games, if you haven't hit your desired region reward by that point, finish the tutorials or just afk grind loss xp, multitask while you just concede this will net you fast rewards.
Tip 4 - Save Your Dust
In legends champions are king, you'll be swimming in wildcards of every other rarity in no time so make sure that you are saving up 3000 shards for that free champion once a week, on top of your weekly vault and lucky upgrades you could have up to 5 champion cards in a single day.
Tip 5 - Have Fun
The key to being successful at free to play is understanding that you need to bide your time before making your ranked climbs especially if you refuse to net deck, I got to be a diamond player in arena using this mindset, so patience is key. Just have fun before you pick a list to try hard with.
I had come out relatively early and called this meta shift. There was a rather substantial outcry, so its easier to down vote than accept that sometimes the unpopular oppinion, well thought out, is the correct one.

So deep was obviously a contender for best deck when things slowed down after the patch, we see a Frej list tier 1 as predicted, and 1 thing I got wrong.
If you'd ask me if Heimer was tier 1 I would have laughed, and been like tier 3 at best
So we'll put the score at 2/3 pretty good, but not perfect calls.
Frej also shows up in tiers 2 and 3 frequently
Dem bannerman has seen a huge drop in play rate, but there is a new version that runs Fiora with spells to help provide an alternate win con.
It's also dropped badger bear, no duh.
The deck is still good it's just different, and harder to play overall.
Karma lists are down to tier 2 that's the other big change, along with burn.
It's worth noting that things are so balanced right now that there is only a 5 percent win rate difference between the best lists and the worst.
So you should honestly just play what you want, if you want to be hardcore play frej if you don't then play whatever you want.

A lot of people are struggling with elusive decks and Heimer who also just makes infinite exclusives.
Was the solution easier than we think, just run all of the damage and healing effects with kegs, like people did when rising tides first dropped.
This is the great thing about Legends Of Runterra, things are so balanced that you can play off meta lists and still do well.

Before I get asked sleight of hand is a discard tool like you would find in mtg, it is not a yoink tool, so that's why we don't want pilfered goods.
Been having a blast with this Bilgewater, P and Z control list.
It seems to have favorable matchups against everything but yoink Sejuani, which is probably the best deck in the game right now.

Like I could say that I think Vlad Frej is a good deck but that doesn't mean its top tier based on the data. It has a tier 2 win rate at high ranks.

So Freljord as a region in present in 3 of the tier 1 lists of the meta.
This gives it the top win rate of all the regions on mobalytics
It's hanging around 60 percent in the best decks
- It has the best buffs, fury of the north, elixir of iron
- Frostbite is strong, it counters other midrange lists
- Sejuani is the number 1 champ
- Deck buffing is strong with omen hawk being the best example
- It has good teck options in a tournament setting

How did they fix it, they splashed Frej, I really couldn't make out how perfect things have lined up to what I expected.

Guess what, we get to talk about everyone's favorite stealthy list, and how to fix it.
- The solution was simple, just splash frejord. Now every wayfinder can pull out omen hawks and buff all future elusive draws.
- The evaluation works like this, if a wayfinder pulls out 2 hawks that's 4/5 strength plus 4/4 strength into future draws.
- That is 8/9 stats on turn 4 so consider me converted, all the list needed was a tier 1 splash. Not to mention the deck thinning potential.
- You also get access to burst speed spells that keep your elusives alive like fury of the north and elexir of iron.

What I can say is that bird, into chef, into bear, into ranger doesn't work now.
So how do we fix bannerman, is it elites, is it lux with late game.
The person who figures out the answer to that will be the one who does best with Dem now.
Every tier 1 list got nerfed so Sej is good is the sentiment now.
This is why every streamer is running her.
Like the demacia player is running elites at top ranks, this is how hard the nerfs hit them.

It's based on play rates, and we see burn at 17 percent that's why it got nerfed.
This is the difference between people who play a game and those who blindly follow what they read online.
They wouldn't even realize that things have hugely shifted after the patch.
