Stitchensew: "Mr. Boom, why is there a fuse attached to that Rumbunctious Stuffy?"
Boom: "Oh, don't worry about it, it's just aesthetic. And I told you it's DOCTOR Boom!"
Stitchensew: "And I told you that having a PhD in engineering and robotics doesn't make you a doctor."
Boom: "I don't expect a guy who can't properly explain his own effect to understand etymology."
Stitchensew: "You're one to talk, Mr. 'WARNING: Bots may explode'!"
Boom: "Don't tick me off, Stitchens**t! I'm still mad Rafaam couldn't get Lazul and Togwaggle here for a proper E.V.I.L. reunion. Idiot even convinced me to give up my place in the Core se-HEY! Mr. author of this comment! I feel like you're loosing the plot here!"
It's only lethal if the board is clear and you survive until then, which won't happen if you just cast random machine-gun spells all game. The spell is probably better suited for a control deck that helps you get the board back. It's less "Best use of the spell", and more "Best deck it could be used in".
I only included spells that deal direct damage. Obviously, Rune is great and Puzzlebox of Yogg Saron is the objectively funnier choice over Volley. I just got lazy typing :P
Alright, let's do some stupid amounts of damage with that orb! Do note that there's no 8 and 9 mana spells in mage that deal direct damage, and no 6 mana that deal damage to the enemy.
Welp, Wild is gonna be a pain and a half with the new Raza. [Hearthstone Card (Xyrela, the Devout) Not Found] is probably gonna be the biggest pain with the new card, since it doesn't lock you into Shadow spells like Darkbishop Benedictus while also dealing one more damage for the same amount of hero power uses.
Well, the first batch has Thistle Tea Set, and the second batch from Alliestraza looks to have Pirates. So, congratulations, you're a prophet. Not Togg, though.
Actually, they added Mountain Giant back to core, so that's where it lands. First evolve is a random 9-drop, second is Mountain Giant, and third does nothing/transforms into another 12-drop, since there's no 15-cost card.
It's fake. The ball-goblin-thingie's artwork matches exactly with the main promotional art (the background on our reveals, but it's cropped there) except it's mirror, which Blizzard doesn't do, and the OP of that post either doesn't respond to people asking for a source or is being a prick about it.
The ball is indeed on the full promo image for the expansion, looking exactly the same as it does on the "leaked" card except it's mirrored. So the card is clearly fake, but it's a fake with effort.
I think that once the card leaves your hand, the cost goes back to the original one. It's obvious with the minions, since they're on the board, but that probably goes for the spells too, you just can't easily see it. Meanwhile, the cards in hand take into account the current cost.
Unfortunately, it doesn't boost the effect. Transforming a 3-Cost into a 6-cost multiple times while keeping the original cost will still land on a 6-cost. Cost.
Turn 7: The Slime that plays Wish Upon a Star for a 6/9 (nice) buff across the board. And hand. And deck.
Turn 8: Mini Shudderblock into 4 9/16 untargetable minions with Taunt.
Turn 9: Find out why opponent didn't concede/Cry after Twisting Nether, depending on the situation.
Also, quick prediction: All 3 remaining members of the League of E.V.I.L. will also make appearances, and the other minion will be a toy version of an existing legendary.
Played a bit of Penny's Big Breakaway, gotta get back on that. I also started a run of Pokemon X because of the new Legends announcement, got a shiny Froakie in my starters:
Yeah, hopefully the mini-set. Like, Togwaggle trying to steal a bunch of toys from the workshop is a neat storyline.

If anyone wonders what math has to do with a toy expansion, that's a metaphor for your parents telling you to stop playing and do your homework :P
Not as weird as SMITE x Transformers, but it's up there.

Or maybe I'm completely off.
Yeah, meant enemy hero.

Sunset Volley (10 mana, 10 damage) + Mask of C'Thun (7 mana, 10 damage) + Apexis Blast (5 mana, 5 damage) + Fireball (4 mana, 6 damage) + Cinderstorm (3 mana, 5 damage) + Frostbolt (2 mana, 3 damage) + Arcane Missiles (1 mana, 3 damage) = 42 damage randomly (kinda) split among your enemies.
Is this the best use of this spell? Absolutely not. But that won't stop people from trying!

Hi, wecome to tha Cwistal Cove! Wanna pway Piwate Woge?
Well, the first batch has Thistle Tea Set, and the second batch from Alliestraza looks to have Pirates. So, congratulations, you're a prophet. Not Togg, though.
Oh, this is interesting. The flavour text says "three", but the card only gives you 2. They must've nerfed it late in development.

Oh, they responded, allright:

Really wish Hearthstone had a proper graveyard.
Wow, I was way off with Rafaam. Granted, I forgot [Hearthstone Card (Archvillain Rafaam) Not Found] was added to Core.
Also, I love that the Mini version of Tabletop Roleplayer is an actual tabletop mini.
Unfortunately, it doesn't boost the effect. Transforming a 3-Cost into a 6-cost multiple times while keeping the original cost will still land on a 6-cost. Cost.
Missed opportunity to make the character in the art Netherspite Historian.
Oh, this? This is Juicy!
