The Aatrox vs Kyle & Morgana fight was neat. No idea what stronghold they were fighting over, but it has some nice aerial combat and synergy between the two angel champs.
Then we get Yasuo doing his best impression of Old Man Logan. Probably a new skin his final fate in the lore, at least until the next retcon.
But MAN, did not expect to see Tryndamere go up against Kindred, literal bloody Death, with nothing but a sword and his pecks! I LOVE Kindred as a character, and it's great to see them in a cinematic, especially against Trynd, who's whole shtick is that he's a survivor. Strong "Death can have me when it has earned me" vibes from that one.
And, as usual, great music, animation and cinematography.
Demon, you can't just start a thread like this and not tell us what YOU'RE playing!
Anyway, I started the new year with some Ghostrunner before switching to some older, can't-find-them-on-the-market games. I'm some way through X-Men Origins Wolverine, and I started Prey 2006, which has some really cool mechanics for the time.
Installed it earlier today. Traversal is sublime and the aesthetic is awesome, but the difficulty is through the roof. Gonna really need that shield from assist mode.
So I got the 50 free packs that were going around a while ago, but haven't gotten around to opening them. Should I do that before or after opening a carch-up pack?
We just might. This set already has a few returning characters, and one of the Warrior legs will be revealed at BlizzCon (unless Blisterguy has two of them).
Token is now in the DB. It's one of those manaless cards, and there's no mention of card reduction, so I'm guessing it's the same cost.
I could see this in some sort of deck that runs a small number of high-impact minions and the rest of the deck is spells, weapons, etc. Problem is, I don't see Paladin being able to pull that off, especially in a highlander-only deck.
The card is added to your hand, not summoned to the field. That's what "get" means. Basically, you always have minion in your hand (at least until you play it, at which point it becomes the Mirage again).
This might be easier to tell if Blizzard updated their gallery already!
I mean, Bats had like 4 games with varying degrees of "It's good" (and also Blackgate). But I have to agree that none have the same atmosphere that Asylum had.
The Staff of the 9 Frogs is a 2/9 that reads "After your hero attacks, summon a 1/1 Frog with Taunt. (each frog is bigger than the last)". So it certainly leaves up to the name. Wonder what happens if you re-equip the weapon, to the frogs keep growing?
Well this just kept building!

Cutting it a little close, eh?
Bit of info I wasn't aware of: This version also unlocks the premium versions on mobile.
I'm so sad we didn't have an E3 this year. We were robbed of Twenty Twent-E3!
clears throat HI-FI RUSH GOT ROBBED!
If the trailer isn't revealed during the game awards, I'm changing my username to Nermal for a year.

On the one hand, I want Wishing Well to work with Counterfeit Coin. On the other hand, it'd be pretty thematic if it didn't.

Oooh, dice rolls! This should be fun mechanic, assuming it's not a one-off.
Doubt it. It just prevents higher costs from going up, doesn't increase existing ones. But we'll find out when it releases.
Forget the robots, did the kitty get reunited with their friends?
