Does anyone know when the update goes out for mobile? I typically play on my computer, but I need to log in on my phone in order to spend my Amazon coins on the pre-order.
Just a tip for those doing this quest: You need to play Story Mode in Trial by Felfire, not the Prologue. It doesn't count. I know this for sure because it was the last thing I needed.
I know, and I don't understand why. For people who like to collect golden cards, it makes sense. But for those of us who don't care about golden cards, it's frustrating to be given a card that has no value for me. And it's doubly frustrating because they already gave me 2 free Transfer Students. For people like me who disenchant all their extra cards (starting with goldens), that just feels like 1600 dust that I can't access.
Thanks to those who shared the strategy. Normally I would love figuring that sort of thing out myself, but I just haven't had any spare brainpower recently. Besides, I'm cheesed they did the same garbage they did with Kael'thas. Let me disenchant them for godsake!
Adding Malygos is a neat idea, as another player noted. Gives you a lot more potential damage, but he's also another combo piece you have to draw. Worth a shot definitely!
I am really impressed with how fast and frequent the updates are here.
I think the Ragnaros nerf is good, I just hope it isn't overkill. Like all abilities, you need some luck for a big payoff, but I've seen him generate some absolutely disgusting boards. I've done it myself once, and damn that's fun. But it feels unfair.
I've been watching this deck for the last few days, LOVE the concept. I have Fireheart but haven't used her much yet. Any updates on deck choices or strategy? Thoughts on modifying this for standard? I might take the plunge tomorrow!
Anyone else experiencing this over the past few days? Every card I play or attack I cue up takes an extra few seconds to happen, and I'm getting disconnected and reconnected almost every single turn. So far, I've only lost one game due to this, since the disconnects are generally very brief. It's so annoying though!
Internet seems to be working fine for other purposes around the house. I tried shutting down and restarting my computer, as well as power-cycling my router.
I'll start off by saying that I always enjoy adventure content, and this was no different. Nice flavor and plot, fun broken card options, and satisfying progression through the levels, upgraded hero power, etc.
But that deck? Who designed it? Luna's Pocket Galaxy when you have hardly any high-cost minions? Elemental synergy cards when you have very few elementals? It's like I was playing a Dungeon Run or Dalaran Heist, but getting offered the worst buckets, and not even getting to choose!
Cabal Acolyte plus Wave of Apathy will take your opponent's minion "no matter the circumstances"...Lightspawn says hi.
But for real, great article with solid analysis of these changes. I for one am thrilled they're hitting Secret Passage, and I don't think it's hard enough. Damn that card to Hell.
This has quickly become a contest between Giant Shaman and Patches Druid, where whoever goes first wins unless they draw very badly. Then there's Flik Rogue, who beats both.
I did fight this one Shaman playing Murloc Tidecallers. I actually felt kind of bad for him. But I still ground up his face with a swarm of 7/7 Patches, and I Naturalized his murlocs too. Probably the douchiest thing I've done in awhile.
Yeah, against aggro, you really want those 1-drops. Sharpshooter is the boss. Even an unbuffed Wolpertinger can help to contest the early board against a Demon Hunter. Adorable Infestation helps too, once you're on the board.
Against control or combo, I think it's safe to keep combo pieces like Fletcher. I don't know if keeping Krush-related combo pieces would ever be good. Ramkahen maybe, but never Krush or Leoroxx.
This deck likes to keep some tempo in any situation. Wolpertinger into a 4-damage Overwhelm can do some nice work early.
Just gonna throw a plug in for YourPrivateNightmare's Hunter deck using Professor Slate (second on the list above). I've been playing this deck at Diamond 10 with something like 50% winrate, and having LOTS of fun! The Krush/Ramkahen/Leoroxx combo can amount to a lethal burst, and Arcane Fletcher plus Pen Flinger is just bonkers.
Hm, Faceless looks pretty good here. Overwhelm could be too, as long as you combine with a Locust Swarm or something.
The full combo is actually 36 if you draw Krush with Scavenger's. I would not cut Tracking if you're hoping to combo ever. Best way to thin the deck AND draw pieces.
I'm very intrigued by Professor Slate, and I did unpack him. Let me know if you go that route.
Ok cool. Just needed to wait a little longer. All set now!

I mean, technically you are traveling into the future, just, you know, at normal speed.
Also, obligatory "Ooh, an announcement that they're going to announce an announcement!" Can't believe no one did that already.

Nice job taking CHAAAAAARRRRGE of Talk-Like-A-Pirate Day!

It's Week 1 of the adventure, but Week 2 of the Forbidden Library event (which is just a few weeks of special events). That confused me at first too!

Don't they usually do this? There wasn't one yesterday, but I feel like most Tavern Brawls have been announced on news pages.

Yeah, I love this kind of long-game, win-more deck. You may not win consistently, but you'll have fun!
Have you considered Clockwork Automaton and possibly Blackwald Pixie? On a clear board that's 32 to face!
