I bet the card initially costed 7 mana and had Divine Shield on it. But thankfully, the HS team was able to nerf it in advance. I’m not too sure if a 5/5 with taunt matters at all in the current paladin list but we’ll have to see
So we are getting a ton of mech and dragon synergies while problematic cards like Snapdragon and all the Divers have not been removed yet… well looks like another garbage arena cycle.
The Frost Naz’jar is amazing in Naga HP Mage, helps with its survivability while advancing the gameplan, where the former has always been its biggest issue. This card can even be bounced/discovered again to provide even more survivability. Favourite card of the set so far, that’s for sure.It’s also such a super versatile card and the mana reduction as well as the Flame damage can help Mage in big spell archetypes. The mana reduction isn’t very relevant in Naga Mage anyway because the 4 mana 2/5 already gives infinite mana imo.
Polymorph Jellyfish is also pretty neat in helping to deal with big stuff, and is more of a great discovery option than a actual deck inclusion.
This is a poorly-worded card. I can't tell from the text whether or not I get a copy of the card I pick, and I can't tell who won't be able to play the card next turn: me (assuming I do get a copy) or my opponent.
You pick a card in their hand and they cannot play it next turn. It’s not even a discover effect, so you do not get the card. Hope this clears it up for you.
Oh my god, they should have kept Warlock nerfed because the curses fucking suck to play against. Why are they trying to push an archetype WHERE THE GAMEPLAN FOR BOTH PLAYERS IS TO DO NOTHING? Like this is an all new level of uninteractive where the way for slower decks to beat Warlock is to keep their fucking hand full. HOW IS NOT PLAYING CARDS. IN. A. CARD. GAME. Being pushed? Fucking melons
I guess DH was just absolutely overtuned af before, and watching it get neutered is great. I wonder what becomes of the meta now though… is it just a race to Kazakuzan over and over again? Or what will happen.
Also glad to see Quest Hunter get nerfed because that deck was just obnoxious, I was hoping for Questline Step increases, but I guess Dragonbane Shot nerf will have to do. It’s worse into aggro matchups, but are there even any good aggro decks left?
