My understanding of spellburst is that the weapon (or minion) doesn't have to still be in play for the effect to resolve. Once played, the keyword is activated and the next spell, whenever it may be, gains the effect. The only real question is what happens if counterspell is active.
I can respect that thought process. It does feel odd to equate the two conditions. Maybe we'll have a better feel for it once it gets played a few times.
Why does that line mean lazy design to you? Priests often heal on their turn and warlocks often self damage on their turn. The card's wording is the most concise way to cover both possibilities. Or were you referring to the requirement to trigger the effect as being lazy?
I think this will be the nearly auto include neutral legendary for the next while. Nearly every deck runs some removal spells that can combo with this card.
My favorite is a C'Thun Hunter deck showcasing Emeriss. Hunter never got good C'Thun synergy back in Old Gods so I made this work. Best case scenario is you can stick a Brann for either the Emeriss buff or the C'Thun battlecry. There is nothing quite like getting off a big C'Thun for lethal. It even beats Yogg lethal, change my mind. :-)
My first game was against someone playing Demon Hunter. They didn't even have 30 cards in their deck. Felt bad for them until I remembered it was DH. Felt good to repay some pain.
I saw a tweet linked on Reddit that golden and non golden are treated as different collections. Having one golden and one regular does not count as having two of that card and won't protect against opening another one.
Can I give this article 5 stars twice? Especially the mike drop at the end. I don't even care about the tavern brawl or open sandbox idea (though it is a good idea), just do something to help people understand the severity of the issue. Announce there will be no gatherings and get some public relations cred.
I do like having charge on a select few minions with rush being the more prevalent keyword. However, I do think that it has become too ubiquitous, especially on neutral cards. Rush takes the place of removal spells and classes with access to those should have less access to rush minions.
I think it took 6 weeks for the last patch induced android crash to be fixed. I guess I'm out of the birthday celebration. At least I can now find time to watch 6 hours of twitch streams so Ican earn my 2 packs; which I won't be able to open and use until around time for the next expansion.
Inset your own joke about Blizzard and 'don't you have phones' here.
Conspiracy suggestion: they knew there would be bugs resulting in an unplayable game so they added the twitch drops as a last minute bandaid.
Whizbang is pretty good in a mage deck, but I find him to be more suited to Hunter. He allows Rexxar to expand past the usual aggro deck and try out control and combo styles.

I really like the flexibility of this card. A discard mechanism that still has use if you need to play it normally.

That has to be a Lich King end of turn card and not one of the hero cards, right?
Yeah, most of the time I'm happy just getting double stitched tracker or a couple C'Thun buffs going.
I mean, if you really want a turtle...

Unfortunately, I do not own a copy of the mighty Millhouse. However, Lorewalker Cho is included.
I did go with the meme, but a different direction. Had a blast playing my wild 35 legendary deck, featuring Frost Lich Jaina and a trio of Renos.
Spell mage and spell druid probably aren't the way to go here. Is it standard or wild?
Since it is a card in the new set also, I bet something in the code is hiding him until it releases.

Hopefully they don't reintroduce the 'break android for two weeks' feature again.
