I think this card could realistically slot into Mage and Shaman, but I'm not sure either of those decks need this. Druid, however, I could see trying to use this.
This isn't doing much for me. 6-mana, 3/4's are fucking awful, even when they're good. There are just a lot of cards that perform similar roles but are better cards.
Even though I understand that the healing is wide open, 15 is still a lot. You basically have to (1) play some manner of Pyro turbo stuff to activate this or (2) just take it crazy slow.
This is a strong effect, but the deck building aspect is going to take a lot of iteration.
Depends on where you are on the ladder - but I'd assume most of those people are psuedo-AFK. They're playing, but they're also texting/messaging/watching a video.
Are you suggesting that everyone who is burned out at the end of an expansion cycle is a bad guy/gal about it? B/c you don't have to be. You can both be tired of the expac cycle but still a good streamer.
The only thing that immediately punishes this is a taunt, right? That's a pretty big fucking punish though.
Assuming no taunt, though, you're going to magnetize this and smash them in the face for a million.
In the pantheon of 5-mana, 8/8's, I think this is the worst. But It's also still a neutral 5-mana, 8/8, and those typically do see play to some degree.
Specifically, I think this sees play in Silence Priest or not at all. You want a card like this in games where Taunt is most common. Therefore, the massive punish of taunt is cripplingly doubled.
Obviously a ton worse than Strider, but also far more interesting.
Some potentially cool tricks with the new legendary and high impact deathrattles.
The problem, same as it ever was, is that Rogue usually does tempo so much better than it does a lot of this neat tricky stuff, and this gets left behind.
Do I like this more than Proud Defender? Yes. Do I like this more than Tar Creeper? No. Do I like this more than Saronite Chain Gang? No, but it's close.
I'll go out on a limb and say this card is likely much better than it appears, and might even be very good.
Would other classes play Ancestral Spirit Lite? And priest is the class best suited to heal a reborn minion. I mean, it costs 1, so that's a pretty good starting place.
It's an okay card. Could be very good somewhere. But I'm not sure what that deck is at the moment. This midrange-y priest deck is being pushed hard.
I think this card is very good. In it's base form, it's still pretty good. With the handbuffing it can become really powerful. Plus, it's not a legendary. Taunt warrior was wholly lacking in payoff cards, this is a good start. Still needs more though.
A neutral "frost nova" against Aggro and occasionally other things. Some strange niche fatigue reduction scenarios. I'm not sure this is a good card, but it's certainly a very interesting one.
Kind of unplayable without one more generator, I really don't want to rely on EVIL Cable Rat in an aggro deck.
To me, at least, Warlock is looking more midrange. I think it is probably going to move away from the all in carpet/grim rally strategy, and towards things like EVIL Recruiter, Riftcleaver, and Diseased Vulture.
I disagree. Lackeys are 1 mana minions so they go great with the carpet setup, especially after Tekahn buffs them. You might cut rallies and scarab eggs to make room for more lackeys but I doubt you'd want to touch carpet or the overall 1-drop zoo theme.

This is a pretty good comparison.

It's kind of okay. Probably not good enough for standard outside of maybe Paladin.

This feels like the best quest by a mile.

I don't understand the question.
Are you suggesting that everyone who is burned out at the end of an expansion cycle is a bad guy/gal about it?
B/c you don't have to be. You can both be tired of the expac cycle but still a good streamer.
I mean, isn't it already an option with friends? You just agree to do it.
I should note - i don't hate picking this card off of Ethereal Lackey, which is probably where you're going to see it most often.

Incredible card. The end. Will probably be played in almost every single rogue deck until it rotates.
It does make me hopeful we will see some more interesting synergies in Rogue though.

Seems slightly overcosted. May still see play though, because it's not awful. It's certainly more aggressive than Spikeridge was.

Fair point about carpet + lackeys
